Dismantling of existing bituminous layer on road by cold milling up to a depth of 40 mm thickness in km. 5.00 to km. 8.50 in width of 7.0m and 65mm thickness on both sides in a width of 30Cm from Km. 0.00 to 15.00 except bridge portion (length of 14700m). planning the surface after cold milling, transportation to the hot mix plant site, hauling, stock pilling the reclaimed material. Note:- The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of the theoretical volume, The reclaimed material shall be use up to 29% of total qty of DBM as per clause no 519 of MORT&H specification. Reclaimed material use for DBM shall be issued free of cost and balance left out material shall be property of the contractor & shall be issued as per issued rate/recovery items. Cold milling shall be carried out 40mm thickness only as provided in this item. The levels of existing bituminous surface and milled surface respectively shall be recorded as per MORT&H specification by the contractor and got certified from the engineer before commencement and finishing of cold milling activity. Any milling carried out by the contractor over and above the thickness of 40mm (+) 5% variation shall be recoverable from the contractor @ providing and laying of item of BC quoted by him by the bid.

Earth work by excavation for wdg. of road in all kinds of soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment and berms with all lead and lifts including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections complete in all respect as per x-section attached with DNIT in section-9 as per clause No. 301 of MORT&H specification -2013. The sequence of operation for widening/ construction of subgrade, embankment has to be carried as described on drawing attached with DNIT (section-9)

Construction of embankment and berms with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 complete in all respect as per clause No. 305 of MORT&H specification-2013

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders in widening portion with soil minimum CBR of 8% obtained from borrow area with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading , grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table-300-2 complete in all respect as per X-section attached with DNIT, as per clause No. 305 of MORT&H specification-2013. The finished road surface will be as per X-section attached/ approved by Engineer. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land. Before strat of work, the contractor will prepare the L-section and X-section of the project highway and get it approved from engineer with respect to GTS bench mark. This work shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid.

Providing and laying 130 mm thick compacted granular sub base consisting as filter/separation layer (Lower Layer) confirming to table 400.1 grading-III of MORT&H 5th revision - 2013 mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MORT&H specification Note:- Only crushed stone material should be used, no local sand / tibba sand shall be used. . The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI).

Providing and laying 130 mm thick compacted granular sub base consisting as sub base cum drainage layer (Upper Layer) confirming to table 400.1 grading –VI of MORT&H 5th revision - 2013 mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MORT&H specification Note:- Only crushed stone material should be used, no local sand / tibba sand shall be used. . The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to 250mm thick in three layers (75+75+100) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification in three Layers including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per clause No. 406 of MoRT&H specification -2013 as per drawings and design complete in all respects. Note :- Only crushed stone material should be used no local sand / tibba sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). Note:- Contractual agency has to prepare the top layer of WMM of already done widening portion for laying of DBM by cleaning , consolidating , cutting of extra material, filling of dip and all other exercise if required to ensured the proper width and thickness of DBM. Nothing extra will be paid for this and it should considered incidental to work.

Providing and laying Primer coat over WMM surface with bitumen emulsion SS-I Grade using 7kg/10 Sqm. area. The construction operation shall conform to as per clause no. 502 of MORT&H specification - 2013 including cost of bitumen emulsion, complete in all respects. Instructions issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed

Providing and laying bituminous tack coat of bitumen VG-10 grade using 2 kg. per 10 sqm area on WMM surface complete in all respects including cost of bitumen VG-10 as per clause No. 503 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition Instructions issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen will be followed strictly.

Providing and laying 65 mm Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam in one layers with the use of reclaimed excavated material from cold milling of existing bituminous layers to the extent up to 29 percent (29%) of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh coarse/ fine aggregates and bitumen of VG-30 grade to have overall minimum 4.5% bitumen content and including rejuvenators as required, mixing in a batch type hot mix plant, transporting and laying at site and compacting to the required grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519 of MORT&H specification 5th revision-2013. If bitumen required is more than 4.5% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. DBM laid in widening portion is to be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5% is achieved in full width of road. Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNIT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work.

Providing and laying 40 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 80-100 THP Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4% (minimum) (including waste plastic material to the extent of 7% of bitumen) by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory or with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 Clause No. 507 complete in all respect and ‘IRC:SP:98-2013-Guidelines for the use of Waste Plastic in Hot Bituminous Mixes (Dry Process) in Wearing Courses.’ The properties of the bituminous concrete mix shall conform to table-3 of IRC:SP:98-2013.If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix including waste plastic material no extra payment will be made, Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before laying BC on existing black top (where no fresh DBM laid) all Fog seal and/or crack and/or patch work and/slurry seal shall be incidental to work this work shall be carried out as per MORT&H Clause 3004 which may consist of (i) Fog seal and /or (ii) crack filling and / or (iii) filling pothole and patch repair and/or (iv) slurry seal as required at site. Proper measurement and consumption of bitumen shall be entered in M.B. for Fog seal and/or crack filling and/or filling pothole and patch repair and/or slurry seal but no payment on this account shall be made in these items are incidental to work. Proper account of bitumen on A/c of bitumen shall be maintained and record entry in this effect shall be made.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads . the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Before start of work, the contractor shall give brand, batch no of the material to be used.

Providing & fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type XI specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminum composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides.

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M/etc.)

Construction of RCC foundation for providing MS Pipe structure for cantilever over head signage and cantilever board, the cement concrete mix to be in ratio 1:2:4 and that of lean to be in ratio 1:3:6. The work will be carried out as per clause No. 802/1000/1700 and 2002 or MoRT&H specification for road and bridge work (5th revision) of 2013 latest edition, as per approved drawing as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete in all respect as per drg. attached in DNIT

Fabrication, supply and erection of MS Piper type cantilever overhead structure of sizes 3000x1220 mm (6Nos) and 2440x1220mm (6 Nos) for installation of retro reflective boards as per clause No. 802/1000/1900 of MoRT&H - 2013 latest edition, as per approved drawing as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete in all respect as per drawing attached in DNIT.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing of retro reflective signage (Both sides) made out of 2mm thick aluminum sheet face to fully covered with encapsulated lens retro reflective sheeting of grade-IV HIP specification conforming to IRC 67-2012. Code of practice for road signs IRC 30-1968 standard letters and numerals of different height for use on highways signs as per clause No. 800 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. The reflecting sheeting shall be a heard to the base substrate by heat lump vacuum application process. The board shall have back support frame of MS angle of size 35x35x5mm. The boards are to be fixed at the overhead structure as per drawing attached, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete in all respect. Contractor will supply warranty for sheeting as per Clause 801.3.11.

Earth work in excavation in foundation, trenches etc., in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 3 mtr depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around the masonry/ concrete in 15cm layers with compaction including disposal of all surplus material/soil as per clause No.301 and 304 & 309 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ latest edition as per drawings & direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete in all respects.

Providing and Laying cement concrete 1:3:6 mix with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated in foundation and leveling course of approach slab per approved drawings complete in all respect as per clause No.1000/2100 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) / latest edition

First class brick work laid in cement mortar 1:3 as per clause No.1000/1300 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision)2013 / latest edition. and as per design drawing and direction of engineer-in-Charge.
