Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar or cement-lime mortar, including quoins, arches, pillars, etc., of any description, including cleaning and stacking serviceable bricks for reuse and removing unserviceable materials and rubbish from the site, complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Marterial and Labour for brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks (old size bricks), in straight or curved work on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar (CM) 1:6, including all necessary scaffolding, curing, raking of joints, and completing the work in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Marterial and Labour for brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, in straight or curved work on plan to any radius, in half brick thick walls, built in cement mortar (CM) 1:4, including all necessary scaffolding, watering, curing, raking of joints, and completing the work in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement or cement-lime plaster from brick walls and other surfaces, including raking out joints, hacking the surface to provide key for new work, scrubbing down with water, and removing all debris, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plastering 15mm thick with ready mix cement plaster material on external surface of Brick walls/chajja/fins or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plastering 12mm thick with ready mix cement plaster material on internal surface of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces, surface´after complete removal, applying acrylic putty on internal surfaces of walls/ceiling/soffits etc (thickness vary from 1.5 to 2 mm as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two or more layers) by using readymade putty, including sanding with wall sander after filling the putty in first coat/second coat to make surface smooth and ready for receiving interior/exterior painting complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the GE as well as to the Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection before applying further finishes. Please note that the further finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the GE as well as to the Engineer-in-Charge through site order. Material and labour for applying 02 coats of interior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint/shade (Company Depot Tinted) @ 14.5 sq.m/litre/2 coats to wall surfaces (new or old prepared internal surface after complete removal and applying putty) over and including a coat of interior primer @ 11 sq.m/litre/1 coat (primer shall be same make as acrylic emulsion paint), paint and primer applying by using paint roller brush complete all as specified and as directed. Note ;- Complete removal and putty shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. Material and labour for applying 02 coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint/shade (Company Depot Tinted) @ 6 sq.m/litre/2 coats to external walls / Soffits of Chajjas / Roof Projections / Cantilevers / Balcony etc. (new or old prepared external surface after complete removal) over and including a coat of exterior primer @ 11 sq.m/litre/1 coat (primer shall be same make as acrylic emulsion paint), paint and primer applying by using airless spray gun complete all as specified and as directed. Note ;- Complete removal shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.
