Supply, fixing and testing in replacement LED Street / Security light fitting of 30 Watt, 5700K - 6500 K (including LED drive and internally prewired) complete with body robust, corrosion resistant, superior finish and without any cracks or through holes, made in a single piece by high pressure die cast aluminum alloy. The luminaries shall be monolithic construction totally enclosed dust and water proof with IP -65 / 66 protection as per IS - 10322-1982(Part -I) with latest amendments and input voltage range 140 - 300 V, AC, frequency 50 - 60 Hz ,P.F should be more than 0.9 with Total Harmonic Distortion THD(I) less than 15% ,cool white colour and lamp starting time should not be more than 10 second including 10 KV surge protection in built or external. Driver should be constant current constant voltage driver. Driver should have high voltage withstanding capacity upto 300 V, AC. (b) Contractor has to furnish a replacement warranty of 05 years for LED light fittings complete including lamps from the date of completion of CA. Contractor shall obtain warranty from the manufacturer of product on their letter head and submit the same to deparment alonwith his letter head. (d) Scope of work shall include supply and fixing street light fittings on street light bracket fixed on poles, If street light fitting requires to fixed on existing street light bracket and any addition alterration required in bracket for fixing street light, In that case cost of additional / alteration is included in the unit rate of this item, which also includes needful T & P and required accessories such as 1.5 sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor cable for connection from pole box to light fitting etc complete including making connection, testing etc complete .No extra payment is admissible on this account. Contd/-...... (e) Light fittings shall be provided with 10 KV surge protection as mentioned in description of item. If 10 KV surge protection is not provided in light fitting for which cat part is mentioned in BOQ. Contractor has to provide light fitting with 10 KV surge protection without any extra cost to department. (f) Contractor shall write CA No on street light fitting with synthetic enamel paint which should be visible from ground level. Cost of the same is included in the unit rate of this item nothing shall be extra paid on this account.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, connected to earth lead of GI wire 4 mm dia (8 SWG) by means of bolts, nuts and washers of the earth wire galvanised iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to earthing test point and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 15mm dia and water pipe 20mm dia GI light grade top of pipe with funnel & wiremesh, and bottom connected to earth plate by slit and two bolts/nuts/washers, PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 and 40mm thick RCC cover, excavation & earth work complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009 including taking down old unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes :- (i) GI wire upto DBs or upto earth test point is included in this item. (ii) Outer edge of earth pit chamber shall be 1.5 metre away from the outer edge of PCC chamber. (iii) Minimum weight of reinforcement for RCC cover shall be 1 KG.

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty underground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 35 sq mm 3.5 core confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I-1988) laid in trenches, along poles through pipes etc including taking down old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting / floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions.

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for dry sand (Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning to underground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note:- For payment purpose thickness after punning shall be measured.

M & L for brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat, length of bricks across the route of underground cable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Galvanized iron tubing, 40mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches / under road / drains, fixed to poles / walls with required numbers of clamps made out of 25x3mm flat iron, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Cost of flat iron clamp if required is included in the unit rate of this item.
