Allowances Jan-2024 to Dec- — CL has arrived at out of court settlement on 23/09/2016with the contract workmen involved in W.P. No. 431 of 1997who were also cover in CGIT-II/35 of 2013. As per theterms of Out of Court settlement workmen would be paid anadditional fixed allowance of Rs.9434/-(J uary 2024onwards till the validity of PO, over and above theapplicable minimum wages payable in their respectivecategory (i.e. skill , Semi-skilled or unskilled), asdeclared by the Appropriate Government (State / Centralwhichever is higher) payable for their respec ve categoryof scheduled employment. In case any Contract workmanperforms his duty less than the actual number of workingdays in the nth, the additional fixed allowance to beproportionately reduced accordingly. While calculatingproportionate amount, fixed allowance o be divided by 26for arriving 01 day amount.
