Supply, install, test and commissioning of accoustic proof AMF type diesel engine driven generating set fully wired, 415V, +5%, AC 3 phase, 4 wire, 50Hz having capacity 16KW, 20 KVA continuous rating power factor 0.8 (lagging), connecting as per IE rules and mounted on a common base plate with anti vibration pad including necessary foundation as recommended by the manufacturer all as specified and directed. The DG set shall comprise of following :- (A) DIESEL ENGINE : The engine should be liquid cooled and all service points such as dip stick, lube oil filter, fuel pump, injectors shall be on cooled side and injectors shall be housed outside rocker to enable easy maintenance. The engine rating shall be 21 BHP prime mover @ 1500 RPM at NTP. The configuration governor, mechanical type feed pump, exhaust and silencer pipe duly insulated with glass wool, aluminium cladding safety devices and other standard fitings such as speedometer/hour meter etc., complete BHP suitable to the generator Make : Ashok Leyland, Model : AL2CDG1 or equivalent model in Kirloskar/cummins/Greaves/Mahindra

(B) Alternator: The alternator shall be designed for an output of 16KW/20KVA, 3 Ph, 4 wire, 415V, 50Hz continuous rating at 0.8 PF, screen protected drip proof in IP 21 enclosure and closed coupled with engine with class H or better insulation and conforming to IS 13364 rated RPM 1500 including self exited, self regulated brushless and self ventilating type, control panel with accessories, electric supply terminal box with gland, earth terminal etc., complete all as specified. Make : KIRLOSKAR/ALSTOM/STAMFORD/JYOTI/CROMPTON GREAVES (C) Electric system : The electric system of the starter motor and charging alternator shall have the following components:- (i) Charging alternator 12 V, DC (ii) Voltage regulator built in type IC regulated (iii) Starter motor 12 volts DC (iv) Battery 12 Volts DC and capacity 80 AH including connecting terminals with electric type float cum boost battery charger. (D) Fuel Tank ( Service tank) : The fuel tank shall be mild steel suitable to hold 70 ltrs capacity and shall be including fuel level indicator duly marked to read 10 Lits per division fuel line from tank to engine arrangement for fuel filling fuel drain out facility etc., complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material/surplus soil and depositing where directed at a distance not exceeding 50mtr and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr from starting point all as specified and as directed.

Supply lay/spread in trenches, river sand, clean, including spreading, levelling, punning as in cushioning of cables all as specified and as directed. Note :- Punned depth will be measured and paid.

Supply, lay in trenches fly ash bricks of old size for cable protection all as specified and directed. Note:- Bricks shall be laid in such a way that its length is perpendicular to the length of cable.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing LT UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade confirming to IS specification of size 3.5 core 35 sqmm cross sectional area complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Lugs and glands are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for laying of cable and to be used properly wherever required while connecting cables to the panel board. (ii) Earth work such as excavation, refilling, etc. shall be measured separately under relevant items

Supply & Fix On load change over switch with enclosure 4 pole, 63 Amps, 415 volts side handle type hand operated complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.3mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to ganvanised iron strip of size 32 X 6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts , nuts and washers of galvanised iron, protected by means of 40mm dia light grade GI pipe all as specified and shown in MES schedule electrical plate No -3 of SSR Part I including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B1 50mm thick cover slab with 8mm dia MS bars at 100 mm centre to centre both ways and MS 6 mm dia hook , charcoal dust, salt, GI pipe light grade 20mm bore with funnel for watering complete and testing the Earth resistance and writing on the chamber by paint complete all as specified and as directed.
