Repair/Maint and Load Testing of EOT Crane and Testing of Earthing at Mil Stn Beas under GE Kapurthala.

M&L for Servicing , testing,repair and load testing certification of following capacity of cranes including any special T&P required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Servicing,Testing,repair and load testing certification of cranes to be carried out at MSD Site of 2 ASD by an expert service engineer and necessary load testing certificate to be submitted to Engr-In-Charge duly signed by user by contractor. (ii) Item required for replacement will be measured and paid seperately under this schedule (iii) Load of suitable capacity for testing in one shed shall be provided by the Department and be transported to other shed and again brought back to Intial site is contractors responsibility. Rate quoted by contractor shall deemed to include this provision.

Opening the required parts of EOT crane capacity 05/10 Ton for carrying out following repairs/replacement and reassembling after completion of repair/replacement, testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Opening the main gear box used for up-down movement (1 No), left-right movement (3 Nos), thrustor (5 Nos) and cleaning the gear box/thrustor, including testing and setting the gears/parts for proper functioning, complete change/toping up the gear box/thrustor with recommended lubricants and hydraulic brake fluid, replacement of worn out gaskets, Greasing the reduction gear, steel rope , motor bearings with grease gun including set-right and lubrication the all other moving parts of the crane checking and tightning of rope clamps. Note:- Lubrication oil for gear box/thrustor will be measured & paid seperately.

M&L for replacement of brake shoe liner of the crane complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of limit switches with 3&4 contacts in oil tight die cast aluminium housing accurate type with 2 No + 2NC type 3SE 404-OE with normal span action, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of power contactor with 2 No (normally open) + 2NC (normally colsed) auxillary contacts, rated curent 25A, 110 volt AC, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of power contactor with 2 No (normally open) + 2NC (normally colsed) auxillary contacts, rated curent 40A, 110 volt AC, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement moveable and fix switcing element with fixing parts for 3 RT14 AC-1 duty power contacter, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repair/maintenance of Input /Output interface card (I/O Card) 18 input & 18 out put operating with in built power supply complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Grease for lubrication complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repair/maintenance of thruster brake shoe drum hydrolic type of EOT crane capacity 5/10 ton for the smooth functioning of brake system complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Opening, taking down the defective flame proof electric motor capacity 10 HP from the platform, transportion to workshop cutting and taking out the burnt winding and rewinding the motor with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge, providing clean insulation, taping, varnishing, replacement of bearings ,re-assembling, transportion and fixing at site including making connection testing and commissioning the complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Opening, taking down the defective flame proof electric motor capacity 1 HP from the platform, transportion to workshop cutting and taking out the burnt winding and rewinding the motor with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge, providing clean insulation, taping, varnishing, replacement of bearings ,re-assembling, transportion and fixing of site including making connection testing and commissioning the complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Opening, dismantling and taking down defective FLP/WP electro Hydrolic thrustor with integral motor use on upto 1100 V, 3 PH, 50 Hz with max thrust upto 40 Kg, conducting required repair, including repair/replacement of shaft rode, and taking out the burnt 3 PH motor winding, re-winding the motor with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing guage and reassembling after cleaning and all required repair, filling recommended oil, fixing and making connection, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Attending complaints and rectification of electrical and mechanical defects of EOT Crane of capacity 5/10 Ton and testing after complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The complaint shall be notified to the contractor by Engr-in-Charge or JE E/M telephonically/personnely or by SMS and recorded in the register maintained for the purpose. Contractor shall make necessary arrangement to attend complaint within 24 hrs failing which penalty @ Rs 1000/ day will be recoverd from contractor for not attending complaint within stipulated time frame. (ii) Cost of any minor nature of repair, replacement of petty items such as nuts, bolts, washers, screws, piece of electric cable upto 0.50 metre length etc is deemed included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Any other major items/repair required for rectification shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of this schedule.

S&F in replacement Steel wire rope for EOT crane 12mm dia 6x36 constn for heavy duty for lifting load confirming to IS 2266 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Steel Guard wire 4mm dia for supporting suspended controll cable from EOT crane to Remote switch unit complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable Veriable Frequency Drive (VFD) 15 HP, 3 Ph, 415 V (+/- 10%) and speed regulation 1:100, Speed control accuracy =/- 0.5 % of raing sychronous speed and taking out the old unserviceable VFD from existing panelcomplete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of Braking resistors sutiable for Veriable Frequency Drive (VFD)15 HP, 3 Ph, 415 V and taking out the old unserviceable braking resistors complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable Veriable Frequency Drive (VFD) 5 HP, 3 Ph, 415 V (+/- 10%) and speed regulation 1:100, Speed control accuracy =/- 0.5 % of raing sychronous speed and taking out the old unserviceable VFD from existing panel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable Veriable Frequency Drive (VFD) 3 HP, 3 Ph, 415 V (+/- 10%) and speed regulation 1:100, Speed control accuracy =/- 0.5 % of raing sychronous speed and taking out the old unserviceable VFD from existing panel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for taking down unserviceable Veriable Frequency Drive (VFD) 3 Ph, 415 V of any capacity/Make from control panel and transportation to workshop and back, re-fixing, testng and cummissioning complete after necessary repair/replacement of following items as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (a) Power Supply card 440 V, 31/35A.

(b) VFD IGBT Module

S&F in replacement of Input/Output interface card (I/O Card) 18 input & 18 out put operating with in built power supply complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & install in replacement of transformer 440v/110v , 2 KVA and taking out the unserviceable transformer from existing panel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & Fill Oil for the thustor is transformer oil to IS: 335-1983 (EHV Grade) or equivalent complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & Fill Oil Grade EP 140 for gear box model 3510HNG & 320CT complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fill Oil Grade ISO VG220 for gear box Type: G33-10-SN complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L pendent push button for controlling all motions ie, start/Stop/Reset/hoist/micro speed/long travel/cross travel motions of EOT crane of capacity 10/5 Ton from floor level complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement PVC insulated PVC sheathed cable copper conductor 6 Sqmm 4 core, multistranded FRLS round type fixed for EOT crane complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material (Epoxy Based) and accessories suitable for 3½/ 4 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 70 to 95 sq mm indoor/outdoor type complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No 34 above but for cable of size 300 Sq mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cleaning the earth pit by removing mud/soil etc from any type of earth pit as required at site and removing rust from the aluminium/copper strip and taking reading of earth resistance by using good quality earth resistance machine and preparing of test results in prescribed format all as directed by Engr in Charge. Each earth pit result to be submitted to Engr-in-Charge duly signed by user and MES rep. Note:- EP No should be mentioned on indivudual earth pits and ER value of installation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repairing earth pit such as brick/ PCC/ Plastering work etc as required at site, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required, 25x3mm copper strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F GI strip 32 x 6mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Aluminium strip 25 x 3mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F epoxy base insulators of suitable size 40mm height for fixing GI earth strip on wall/ceiling/floor/poles etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out and refixing only copper strip 25 x3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc drawn in conduit/ GI pipe etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and spread common salt commercial in trenches to improve the ER value of existing earth pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separetly.

Supply and spread charcoal dust/Breeze in trenches to improve the ER value of existing earth pits complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separetly.

Excavation in existing earth pit and spreading Common Salt, Charcoal dust and Magnesium sulfate complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Common Salt, Charcoal dust and Magnesium sulfate shall be measured in relevant item of schedule).

S&F PCC earth chamber 1:3:6, RCC1:2:4 cover slab with 6mm dia TMT bar, 100mm c/c, MS bar lifting hook including replacement of rusted watering pipe 20mm bore light grade, UNSV GI funnel with wire mesh complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing with copper Earth Plate Electrode 600x 600x 3.15mm thick burried directly in Ground (Earth Pit not less than 2.25 Metre below Ground Level) with Top edge of the Plate not less than 1.50 Metre below Ground Level, connected with copper Earth Strip of size 20x3mm by means of Bolts, Nuts, Check Nuts and Washers of copper and connected Earthing Testing Point/Bus-bar including GI 40mm bore (dia) light grade Protection Pipe, Earth Plate surrounded by a packed thickness of Char Coal or Coke Dust mixed with Common Salt, Magneisum Sulphate (1:1:0.5) in alternate layers of not exc 150mm thick, PCC Pit in Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (20mm graded stone aggregate) and Pre-cast RCC Cover Slab of size 350x350x50 mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 100mm Centre to Centre in both ways, GI Wire Mesh, Funnel with GI Watering Pipe 20mm bore (dia) medium grade including necessary Excavation in any type of soil, Returning, Filling in and Removal of surplus Spoil disposal to out side MD land and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I and Testing on Completion including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
