8126/SAR-T-09/2026-27 MECHANIZED CLEANING OF VEGETATION AND CUTTING OF GRASS AROUND RUNWAY AND TAXI TRACKS AND MISC ITEMS AIRFIELD AREA AT AF STN SARSAWA UNDER GE (AF) SARSAWA

Cutting of grass, bushes and mild undergrowth in the areas (after cutting the remaining grass should not be more than 75mm from ground level) using tractor with grass cutting machine and applying a cap in cone shape for safety of runway/Taxi track lights. This includes cleaning by blower and removal/disposal of shrubs, bushes and grass to outside the technical area and deposited, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (a) The area includes in and around Taxi Track, PTT and runway. (b) Quoted rate shall account for varition in terrain condition, undulations on ground and presence of any type of small boulders. (c) Contractor shall provide following minimum T&Ps:- (i) Two Tractors(Jungle jim/ Harrow driven) operational and one tractor on stand by During monsoon season usually from June to September. (ii) The contractor must provide all necessary associated tools, plants, fuel, oil and drivers for the operation. (iii) Nothing extra shall be paid and all the rate shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for the above points.

Cleaning of storm water drains, inside/outside cleaning by rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 M deep and getting out in soft/loose soil including cleaning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs bush wood of under growth roots removing excavated material outside of the technical area all specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Surplus soil obtain during desilting/cleaning storm water drains to be deposited at low lying area inside the technical area.

Cutting of grasses along the PTT, taxi link and runway edges, Shoulders and parallel taxi track manually and with petrol/diesel/electric operated bush cutter and applying cap in cone shape for safety of Runway/Taxi track lights including cleaning by blower and removal /disposal of shrubs, bushes and grass outside Technical area and deposited complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: 1. Rate of this item included for at least 4 labours alongwith mechanical bush cutter (during manson season i.e Jun to Sep, Two Labours alongwith mechanical bush cutter other than Mansoon season
