Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited required) and other intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and) or labour if required. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads lifts and other incidentals. Recovery of useful stone for 3926.85cum (three thousand nine hundred twenty six decimal eight five cubic metre) shall be made on prorata basis @ Rs.170/- (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre, in each running bill for this item.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation in earth work for foundation of bridge structure (abutments and pier) in all type of classification of soil by manual/mechanical means comprising of ordinary rock, soft/hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and technical specification clause and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal of materials upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom including shoring and strutting and pumping, bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and to complete the work by mechanical means and /or labour if required . Any loss to the public /private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain reinforced cement concrete nominal mix 1:3:6 (One cement:three sand:six graded)/crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetres) nominal size and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering, removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all height and depths including cost of form work in foundation of abutment, pier for all type of structure complete as per drawing, technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Furnishing and placing reinforced / prestressed cement concrete in sub structure in abutments bed block, pedestals etcetera as per drawing and technical specification using concrete mixer rain forced cement concrete grade M-25 (M-twenty five)design mix minimum compressive strength with graded/crushed stone aggregate 20mm(twenty millimetre) nominal size and curing complete upto all height as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including entire carriage of materials with in all leads lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Supplying fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement made of TATA TISCON/SAIL in sub–structure in all heights including cost of binding wire and cost for cutting binding bending and placing in position of bars complete as per drawing, technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including entire carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 100mm (one hundred millimetre) dia A.C. pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing, technical specification and direction of Engineer- in-charge, including entire carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying of filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600mm (six hundred millimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidentals. Supplying, fitting and fixing in position true to line and level POT-PTFE bearing consisting of metal piston supported by a disc or unreinforced elastomer confined within metal cylinder, sealing rings, dust seals, PTFE surface sliding against stainless steel/fabricated structural steel, metal and elastomer elements to be as per IRC :83 Part I & II respectively and other parts confirming to BS: 5400 section 9.1 & 9.2 and clause 2006 MORTH specifications complete as per drawing approved technical specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads , lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 6mm (Six millimetre ) thick mastic asphalt wearing course on top of deck slab excluding primer coat with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of 9.5mm ( nine point five millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.005cum (zero point zero zero five cubic metre) per 10 sqm. (ten square metre) and at an approximate spacing of 10cm (ten centimetre) center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100 (hundred) degree celsius, protruding 1mm (one millimetre) to 4mm ( four millimetre) over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 515, and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including entire carriage of materials with in all leads , lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm(Twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of Type –A 13.2mm (thirteen point two millimetre ) to 5.6mm ( five point six millimetre) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cum ( zero point two seven cubic metre) mixed with VG-30 bitumen at the rate of 14.6kg. ( fourteen point six kilogram) per ten square metre of road surface to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in a suitable plant, laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100KN static capacity road roller finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat as per technical specification clause 508 including carriage of material with in all lead, lifts and other incidentals as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge .
