M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 3.0 mtr deep below GL with top edge of the plate not less than 2.5 mtr below normal GL and connected to earth plate . Earth plate surrounded by 15 cm thick packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt upto 1.5 meter depth all around the earth plate and connected to earth lead of GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvd iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to DB and protected by galvanized iron or steel pipe light grade 15 mm bore and water pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, including required excavation for making the pit perfect to size and earth work PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC cover and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Pt I of 2009 and also including making test point for testing of earthing complete . Note : 1. RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-I , 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4 KG/sqmm in lieu of CI cover. 2. Charcoal dust and common salt upto 1.5 meter depth shall be filled in layers of 15 centimeters all around the earth plate inside earth pit . On testing after completion of earthing if desired earth resistance is not achieved , the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to obtain the desired earth values

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exe 1.5 mtrs wide and not exe 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of pipe/cables etc and getting out incl forming bottom surface to the required level/slope etc complete all as specified and directed .

Returning, filling in, approved earth including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 Cm thick after cable are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material / surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtrs & deposited where directed at a level not exc.1.5 mtr above the ground level complete all as specified & directed.

Taking out of unservaiceable lightening conductor complete of any type any description and of any size and as directed .

S &F in replacement single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300 mm long for lightening conductor and fix to aluminium by making holes with nuts, bolts & washers as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S &F in replacement single pointed air termination copper rod 12mm dia and 300 mm long for lightening conductor and fix to copper strips by making holes with nuts, bolts & washers as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x75 x10 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw etc complete and as directed.

Material and labour for re fixing of old GI / Aluminium strips with saddles and fixing screws for roof conductors and down conductors above level etc including M & L for PCC work in 1:2 :4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cost of refixing strip of one earthing will be considered as one Job .

S &F in replacement GI strip of size 32 mm x6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc on roof conductors and down conductors etc complete all as specified and directed

S &F in replacement aluminium strip of size 25 mm x3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc on roof conductors and down conductors etc complete all as specified and directed

S &F in replacement copper strip 20 mm x3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc on roof conductors and down conductors etc complete all as specified and directed

S & F galvanised mild steel water tubing of 40 mm dia bore in light grade with ISI Mark and incl all fittings like bends, elbow, Tee, reducer sockets & union etc laid in trenches, under floor or fixed to walls / ceilings complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F galvanised mild steel water tubing of 50 mm dia bore in light grade with ISI Mark and incl all fittings like bends, elbow, Tee, reducer sockets & union etc laid in trenches, under floor or fixed to walls / ceilings complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable earthing materails incl earth plates of any type /size , nut ,bolt,washers incl GI wire/strips & GI pipe of any dia including necessary excavation etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of PCC ( Un reinfored) in ground floor and pavings n exc 15 cm thick below or above ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation /mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in repair earth pit of internal size 300mmx300mmx300mm with wall thickness 100mm casting at site with and including PCC base 500X 500X100mm made of PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast 40mm thick RCC cover of (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), rainforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle etc.including removal of old broken unserviceable earth pit from site complete all as specified & directed.

M & L in repair earth pit cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 320mm x 320mm x 40mm thick, cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle with and including necessary form work complete all as specified & directed.

M &L in repair PCC 1:2:4 for & around lightening conductor pipe on roof of building, type B-I using 20mm graded stone aggregateof size 350mm x 350mm X 350mm, set in Cement Mortar 1:4, with and including necessary form work and all exposed surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement including removal of old broken unserviceable PCC / block at site complete all as specified & directed. Note : contractor is responsible to arrange his own T&P for carrying the PCC material on roof of any building .

Supply & fixing aluminium gutka 40mm dia having internal thread of 12mm dia and external thread of 40mm dia and fixed on GI socket complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only aluminium gutka on GI socket complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Old gutka obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Fixing only GI reducer (50mm x 40mm, bore ), on vertical post / stand complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old GI reducer obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Supply & fixing GI reducer (50mm x 40mm bore ), on vertical post / stand complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing GI socket 40mm bore, on vertical pipe post / stand complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only GI socket 40mm bore , on vertical pipe post / stand complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old retrieved GI socket obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work.

Taking up or down GI socket 40mm / reducer socket 50x 40mm bore including aluminium gutaka complete all as specified & directed.

Fixing only GI pipe, 50 mm bore, 1.2 mtr long obtained from taking down in serviceable condition as in Air termination stand / post at roof top of hangers/bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Old GI pipe obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work (ii) GI socket & PCC / brick masonry block for fixing of GI pipe post shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'

Fixing only GI pipe, 50 mm bore, 0.60 mtr long obtained from taking down in serviceable condition as in Air termination stand / post at roof top of hangers/bldgs complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Old GI pipe obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work (ii) GI socket & PCC / brick masonry block for fixing of GI pipe post shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'

Labour for rep/maint of of existing tilted/embeded earth pit by digging not exceeding 3 feet deep around earth pit , filling by nearby soil & re-adjusting the earth pit in proper manner complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for painting on Earth pit marker /frame and earth pit with one coat of synthetic enalmel paint for the equipment complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair GI funnel with wire mesh for watering the earth pit made to shape and size with using PGI sheet minimum 1.0mm thick and fixed in position complete all as specified and directed.
