Repairs of Couch Examination (FD-121)

Removing of old unserviceable broken top base and supply and fixing new top base made out of ply wood 18mm/19mm thick commercial. Make-Kit ply/green ply as per shape/ size as shown on drawing.

Dismantling of old unserviceable and broken springs and S&F of new springs 100mm dia, 10 gauge MS wire copper plated as per size/ shape as shown on drg.

Removing old unserviceable upholstery and S&F of rubber foam (Feather Foam,Sleepwell) 50mm thick over lining cloth, Hessian cloth, coir, fiber, foam leatherette.

Almirah Large steel With Shelves and 1/2 Hanging, 1/2 Shelves (FD-1031, FD-114, FD-83) : Repairs to Almirah large steel with shelves and 1/2 H, 1/2 S and replacement of components as under:-

Material & labour for replacement of worn out shelves made out of PBI sheet 20 gauge and fixing complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Fixing of existing Shelves including necessary fixing arrangements.

Material and labour for replacement of chromium plated MS handle complete with washer etc as approved complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of old and unserviceable lock for Almirah large steel with new locks with duplicate keys. The lockers shall be six lever (Sample shall be approved by GE before in corporation of the work) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge (Make-Harrison or equivalent ISI Marked.)

M & L for legs made out of 1mm as thick PBI sheet channel base ends covered complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for replacement of worn out base made out of PBI sheet 20 gauge complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for removing of old and unserviceable MS hinges fitting 75mm long and fixing new with smoothing the welded surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for locking device MS round bar 10mm dia with brass bush fitting in place of worn out fitting (Locking system) complete all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Almirah medium steel with Shelves and 1/2 H, 1/2 Shelves (FD-1032):- Repairs to Almirah medium steel and replacement of components as under:-

M&L for replacement of worn out shelves made out of PBI sheet 20 gauge and fixing only complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Fixing of existing Shelves including necessary fixing arrangements.

M&L for replacement of MS CP handle complete with washer etc as approved by GE.

M&L for replacement of old unserviceable locks and fixing new locks with duplicate keys. The locks shall be six lever as approved by GE before in corporation in the work. (Make-Harrison/Godrej or equivalent.)

M&L for legs made out of 1mm thick PBI sheet channel base ends covered as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of worn out base made out of PBI sheet 20 gauge complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F New MS hinges 75mm long (as approved by GE) by welding, including removing old hinges and smoothing the welded surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Table office Clerk Steel (FD-84(m):- Repairs to table office clerk steel and replacement of components as under:-

M&L for replacement old unserviceable table top with new top size 4'x2'-5" made out of 18/19mm thick pre-laminated exterior grade MDF board OSL (Grade I / Grade I Tye I) particle board and fixed 4mm thick teak wood beading all around the top duly french polished. The top shall be fixed making appropriate fixing arrangements i.e. drilling of holes, tightening of top, with appropriate size of screws wood steel complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make-Kitply/ Novapan/ Green Panelmax)

M&L for replacement of unserviceable drawer with new drawer made to shape and size with 1mm thick PBI sheet including repairing the sliding surface of the drawer by smoothing the portion denting and welding or any other means to enable all the three drawers to work smoothly complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for replacement of locks with new brass locks with duplicate keys complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for replacement of PVC shoes with new PVC shoes complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Table office Officer Steel (FD-85(m):- Repairs to table officer officer steel and replacement of components as under:-

M&L for replacement old unserviceable table top with new top size 5' x 3' made out of 18/19mm thick pre-laminated exterior grade MDF board OSL (Grade I / Grade I Tye I) particle board and fixed 4mm thick teak wood beading alround the top duly french polished. The top shall be fixed making appropriate fixing arrangements i.e, drilling of holes, tightening of top, with appropriate size of screws wood steel complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make-Kitply/ Novapan/ Green Panelmax)

Table Dining ORs Aluminium (FD-185):Repairs to table dining ORs With aluminium top and replacement of components as under:-

M&L for replacement top with new top made out of 18mm/19mm thick commercial particle board with 22 gauge thick aluminium sheet with over lapping with steel screws complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make-Kitply/ Novapan)

M&L for replacement of worn out frame with new MS Square pipe 25mm x 25mm 16 gauge including stiffner where ever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for welding upto 2.5 mm long welding to steel frame with electric welding and smoothening of the welding portion complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Table Bed side, Steel (FD-157)

Removing of old unserviceable broken top and supply and fixing of new top made out of 18mm/19mm thick prelaminated particle board. (Make - Kitply/ Novapan) including Teak wood beading 4mm thick all around duly french polished shall be provided.

Removing of old unserviceable knob with locking strip and supply and fixing of new knob with flat iron strip and locking strip made out of Flat iron 15x3 mm duly approved by GE/ Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of old unserviceable and broken rusted legs and S&F of new legs made out of MS square pipe 25mm x 25mm x 18 gauge as per shape/ size shown in drg. Fixing of legs shall be done by gas welding continuously and smoothened with File steel as approved by GE/ Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of old unserviceable PVC shoes and S&F of new shoes of PVC of required size as shown in drawing and approved by GE/ Engr-in-Charge.

Chair visitor cushined (TP)

Removing the unsv handles of chair & S&F new handles with screw steel as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing unserviceable upholstory and S&F of foam over lining cloth, Hessian cloth as directed by Engr-in-Charge on both seat & back.

Rack Side Steel with Tray (FD-97)

M&L for removing of unserviceable shelf, S&F new shelf rack side steel 1 mm thick PBI sheet channel base end welding complete as required and shown on drg

Screen moveable 3 fold steel with curtains (FD-83)

Removing the repairable parts and repair duly dents & bents with sliding arrangement and fixed with the proper duly welding and smooth edges as per drg( welding point)

Removing the old curtain of screen moveable and S&F new curtain of green coloured cloth.

Removing the old wheels of screen moveable and S&F new wheels of good quality as per directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Locker bed side Steel /Steel Locker 4/6 Unit (FD-257,FD-243) : Repairs to Lockers Steel and replacement of components as under :-

S&F in replacement of worn out shelves with new made out of PBI sheets 1 mm thick and fixing 4 Nos cleats as per drg made shape 4 size including two coat of enamelled olive green paint over a coat of metal primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make - Nerolac /Berger

M&L for replacement of Alluminium anodised tow handles and 100 mm long alluminium hasp & staples to lockers steel complete all as spaecified and as directed by Engr -in- charge.

Charpoy GI pipe (FD-220)

Removing the existing broken long rails and supply & fix 32mm of dia GI long rail med grade of size 1900 mm duly threaded both ends as shown on drg for one leg.

Cutting and threading for short rails of size 810 mm from broken long rail and threaded both ends as shown on drg.

Removing the existing broken short rails and cutting and threading of leg of size 400 mm out of broken short rail as shown on drg.

S & F check nut of size 32mm dia 6mm thick conforming to ISI.

Removing the existing unserviceable 3 way GI elbow 32mm dia and S&F 3 way GI elbow 32mm dia ISI marked.

Removing of old unserviceable Nylon Newar from charpoy GI pipe & re assembling frame and S&F hard top of 12mm thick plywood commercial (BWR) size 6 1/2" x 3' Make-National/ Duro with two Nos 25mm x 25mm x 1.6mm thick square tube in stiffner welded in between across long rails, suitable size mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other with washer and hexagonal or square nut of suitable size, length of bolt exc 5cm but n.exc 10cm long with dia of neck 5 to 10mm including making holes by drilling in GI pipe (4 hole each in long rail, 2 each in short rail & 1 in stiffner) including removal of old existing plastic newar all as specified and shown on drawing and directed by GE/Engr-in-charge.

Repairs to chair CBA/ CBB Tubular Steel with arm/without arm (FD-75 (M): - Removing the existing unserviceable broken seat and back frame of tubular steel chairs, S&F new seat and back frame out of 1st class hard wood Teak duly french polished and cane for weaving as drawing with not less than 1.8mm width plastic cane for weaving and 3mm width for bordering. Canning holes shall be 12.5 mm centre to centre. Seat and back shall be fixed to frame with bolts and nuts (5mm dia and 100mm long) 04 Nos each for seat and back. Handles are to be shaped as per drawing and duly polished and fixed with suitable steel screws as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Painting to the Steel Furniture:- Preparing the old painted surfaces by sand papering deserting removing dents and bents and filling with putty (metal paste) painting with synthetic enamel paints two coats to give glossy finish all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per Ser item No16.01 above but medium of size 1/2 hanging x 1/2 shelves.
