Preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes and removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre with VG 10 Gde bitumen all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for bituminious premix SDAC (Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete complete all as specified directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements (i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, exc 50 mm depth and n exc 100 mm deep.

M & L Premix bituminous macadam 75mm or less consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 4% binder content by weight of total mix spread with paver, roller and compacted to required gradient and camber with using power roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Repairs to potholes any depth n,exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc, cutting around edges atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), putting in premix bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. Colour body yellow colour with red reflector (IS-67-1977) . Make : 3D/Dark eye/Automat/Tata BP Solar India Ltd/Green Lite or equivalent as approved by GE

S&F tubular delineator made out of 50mm bore GI pipe medium grade with total height of 900mm, black colour powder coated,Hi intensity reflective taping at top and three bands of 25mm width white reflective tape on pipe. Metal jali to protect Hi density reflective taping and fixing with and including excavation in post holes in hard/dense soil , filling of mass concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation (0.3mx0.3mx0.4m), removal of surplus soil and making good existing surfaces complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge including taking down old unserviceable one.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving nexc 15 cm thickness below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F Road safety Convex mirror model No OS-790 from OSCAR safety solutions with 80 CM dia, weight 7 KG including fixing and anchoring complete all as directed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including taking down of old unserviseable one.
