Dismantling of corroded and perforated MT members like stiffeners, gussets, bracings,deck plates,bottom main angle of main girders etc. of any location of the Bridge as directed by Railway's site-in- charge under traffic block, if required, during day/night time with the help of 40 ton capacity Road Crane. The rates are including contractor's own labours, all tools tackles,equiment,machineries etc. & all consumables, materials required for the above work like bolts, nuts & washers, gas, paints, electrodes etc. all scaffolding materials including fixing at the required places & removing,cutting of the existing rivets from the joints of the existing members safely without damaging the existing members, removing shank of the said rivets & filling of all holes positively by bolts , nuts & washers supplied by contractor including all lead,lift,labours complete in all respects. The rate shall also include stacking the released materials and transport the same to Railway store Depot at DCOS/HLR by contractor's own arrangement including all labours, loading, crossing line, stacking etc. complete in all respects.

Assembling and Erection/Launching of MT newly assembled girder with other girder members like Cross girders, Rail beraers, Bracings etc. and placement of the same in proper alignment, line and level under traffic and power block as approved scheme with the help of Road crane. The rate is inclusive of tools, plants, machinery, labours etc. to carry out the work complete in all respect. The cost of Bolting/Rivetting and all other ancilary work are inclusive of this item complete in all respect as per approved drawing.

Erection of newly fabricted girder members MT like deck plates,top plates, angles etc. and supporting members on any location of girders under traffick block in day/night . The cost of rivetting/Bolting as per approved drawing are inclusive in this item.

Provision of road barricade for blocking Each road for smooth execution of Railway Bridge work . Barricades are to be required to be made at each approach. The cost included labours, display board,GI.Sheet, string wire etc. complete in all respect.

Cutting & Dismanting of first class brick cum work in the bridge piers, aboutments and wing walls arches during pre block and the block period. The brick work to be chiselled up horizontally or chiselling up from top as directed by the Railway site-in-charge. During the cutting of brick work all necessary precaution to be taken for safe running of the Railway traffic and maintaining safety of the sound part of the structure. All labour materials tools and plants required for the work to be supplied by the contractor including all lead, lift and crossing the track. Un-Loading of new girder/released girder/ MT components from railway BFR/trailor by manual method by the side of railway on the temporary staging. The rate shall includes the cost of making of tempurary staging, lowering the girder from the staging, with tools & plants for unloading the girder on level base. NOTE: A) CC Cribs and wooden sleepers as per requirement will be supplied by the Railway free of cost at the railway store or bridge site where the stock is available and the agency will be returned back the materials to the stock holder after purpose of the work is over.B) The rate will includes cost of trasportation of all materials including railway materials with all leading,loading and unloading to complete the work in all respects. Supply and fabrication of steel section MT (conforming to IS:2062-GrB0) comprising of MS plates, angles, RSJ, channels etc. of different thicknesses and sizes for making built - up section of Riveted/welded steel bridge girder as per relevant RDSO Drg. CE's approved drg. The fabrication work is to be carried out as per IRS Steel Bridge Code IRS welded Bridge Code IRS B1-2001, IS-800, IS-814, IS-822 and IS -823 and to be done in any RDSO approved workshop, Necessary WPSS and QAP will be prepared by the contractor at his own cost and to be got approved by RDSO before starting the fabrication work. The fabricated materials to be painted with one thick coat of Zinc chromate primer confirm to IS-104 at all the hidden portin prior to fixing the stiffeners and assembling of girder. The rate is inclusive of supply of structural steel section of grade (E250B) conforming to IS:2062-2006 and all other materials like paints, rivets, bolts with nuts & washers, labours, consumables and machineries and all other accessories required for fabrication as per IRS B1-201, IS-800, IRS Steel Bridge Code and IRS welded Bridge Code etc. Complete in all respects. The rate also includes cost of inspection, testing of girders in stages by RDSO/Lucknow.
