M & L for Maintenance, servicing and attending faults on call basis of standby DG Set complete including draining out of diesel from tank , cleaning the tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the sump, cleaning the sump thoroughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to it’s required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter, clean air cleaner, change air cleaner elements, and check coolant level & make up the same,drain the fuel filter & water separator, filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replace the u/s brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, including M & L for V Belts, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers, hose pipes with clips, diesel pipes, thermostat valve, solenoid switch, tappet setting, oil filter element, air filter, bypass filter etc and adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water/ coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories

ITEM NO. 1. CONTD... as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load and record shall be made in respect of RPM, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, frequency, load current, battery charging, fuel consumption etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge for 12.5/15/20/25 KVA DG SET. Make :- Crompton Greaves/ Kirloskar Note :- (a). Engine oil for refilling will be paid separetely. (b). Coolant for make up will be measured & paid separately (c). Testing will be carried out in presence of Engineer - in - charge and DHPP consumption will be entered in PRRB. (d). The Make of Fuel filter, Oil Filter, V belt & other above mentioned components will be as per manufacturers recommendations (rate of fuel filter, oil filter, air filter (primary and secondary), V belt and other mentioned items are inclusive in quoted rate.) (e) Checking of all electricial systems, wiring , connections of battery, battery charging,etc during servicing. (f) Maintenance and servicing of DG sets to be carried out twice throughout the CA duration (for item No 01 to 07) (Rates are inclusive for two servicing). (g) Parts replaced will be contractor's responsibility during the one year CA period and also no claim whatsoever will be entertained for payment if any part is replaced again during the CA period. (h) Attending to faults on call basis will not be considered as servicing. Also, parts replaced as part of servicing BOQ item is inclusive in rate despite changing it after servicing, hence contractor should quote the rates accordingly. (i) After servicing checklist as per OEM (printed ) duly signed by Contractor and servicing agency to be submitted to EIC without fail.

Supply only engine oil, multi grade 20w / 40 Make :- Indian oil / Hindustan petroleum / Castrol / BPCL.

Repair & Maintenance of existing canopy of eco friendly DG Set of any capacity, cleaning of internal & external parts, tightening of loose parts, painting of rusted area, replacing of unserviceable door locks and keys, replacing of damaged or burned inside sponge insulations, fixing of additional steel sheet for area where canopy area is corroded complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour in replacement broken MS Hinges suitable for Canopy door for any type/capacity of DG Sets (as per sample).

Repairs of radiator assembly by dismantling from engine and removing the sediments and scales, corrosion etc by means of descaling chemical cleaning and high pressure water washing and air cleaning, gas welding / soldering with good quality material for stopping the leakage etc, re-assembling the same with new gaskets, fixing to the engine with hoses, clips complete to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge as required for following DG Sets. Note: Rate also includes transportation to the workshop and fabrication if required

Material and labour for cross arms, bracing supports, clamps fabricated out of structural steel such as ISMC, angle iron, flat iron sections including hot galvanised nuts & bolts, washers for single and two pole structure welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as specified and including of one under coat and finishing coat with aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer. Note: Fabrication, welding and transportation is inclusive in the rate itself.

M&L for servicing of alternator of any make suitable for DG set by opening the end cover, cleaning the dust and rust formed over the terminals, cleaning with CTC liquid, checking of diodes, winding, isolating transformer and AVR panel and rewinding of stator/rotor with super enamelled copper wire applying Dr. beck paint for insulation improvement over the strips/ winding and drying till getting sasfactory insulation resistance complete, refixing the covers including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate includes disconnecting all connected parts, transportation to workshop and again fitting the items into DG.

Material & labour for Earthing complete using copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm X 60cm X 3.15mm thick burried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of copper and protected by light grade 40 mm dia galvanised iron pipe and GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering, including funnel, wire mesh, CI pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (including necessary excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m all as specified and shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 and testing on completion all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of exising old foundation of DG sets and M&L for cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) Design Mix M25 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams: plinth beams, bases for columns, etc : basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete, using mild seel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, flat formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footing, base of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar works vertical or to batter including excavaion returning and filling removing all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Quoted rate includes lifting of DG set with crane to safe place and again placing on plinth after completion. Contactor shall submit detailed drawing of the plinth to EIC and proceed after the approval only.

Dismantling of old coverd shed of DG Sets and M&L for hardcore of brocken stone of guage exc 63 mm but not exceeding 100mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, cement concrete type C2 1:3:6 (40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete, cement concrete type A-1:1.5:3 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), 150mm thickness as in hardstandings, fixing of new roof trusses (framed ), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastning and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc, replacement with new pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, preparation of steel surface and applying one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats of Epoxy anticorrosive paint over 10 cm width or girth including excavation returning, filling, removing and connected jointing and fabrication work all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Shed area should cover min. 02 metre beyond the DG plinth and height min. 2 metre from chimney top point.
