Repairs to rain water mouth / Khura opening the existing damaged rain water mouth, dismantling the existing weathering course, removing the pipe and cleaning the surface etc. complete. the diameter of the opening should be more than 25cm around the rain water pipe to be fixed. The new rain water pipe to be fixed to the opening after installing swellable acrylic based PU water bar around the pipe, fixing the rain water pipe to the opening made and filling the gap between the rain water pipe and the opening with non shrink grout without any gap, applying a layer of cementitious water proof coating over the rainwater floor mouth (The rate is also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before making khura) and finishing the surface neatly.
Supplying and applying ( MIXGUARD HR-5 or equivalent product of SIKA/ FOSROC/ BASF) cold applied elastomeric water proof membrane over the prepared surface, prepare a base surface stabilizing primer (MIXPRIME AC100 @ 2 : 1 : 3 (MIXPRIME AC100 : WATER : OPCEMENT) and apply directly (@ 1KG/SQM) along with MIXMAT GFM-50 at an overlapping of 50mm minimum After a curing period of 3-4 hours prepare and apply MIXPRIME AC @ over at a consumption of 250ML/SQM. After curing of 3-4 hours apply a coat of MIXGUARD HR – intermediate elastomeric water proof coat at consumption of 0.5KG/SQM. After a curing time of 4-5 hours apply MIXGUARD HRXtra - Micro fibre reinforced high tensile top coat at consumption of 0.5KG/SQM. Leave 72 hours time for complete system curing. Total build up DFT of the system will be 1700 microns.
Laying pressed clay tile (Saint Antony tile of 18mm thick ) over the terrace as per approved pattern 18 mm nominal thickness of approved size . The tile shall be jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound, laid over a bed of 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and finished neat complete.

Providing and laying of 18mm thick Mirror polished Granite of approved colour laid over 20mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand / M sand) in floors, skirting and parapet wall top, staircase raiser, treads, etc with pointing of the joints in matching pigment and etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in charge. The skirting granite (Jet black) shall be be 100mm height and border granite (Jet black) shall be 150mm clear width. The staircase raiser / tread granite (Cera Grey) shall be laid with 150mm border (Jet black) granite at edges and one single slab without joint at middle portion. Necessary double grooves shall be provided at the edge of each tread. Length of each granite slab shall be 1.2m. The granite for corridor flooring, borders, skirtingn, parapet wall top and staircase shall be pre-polished at factory. For payment, the exposed flooring area including border and skirting will be measured in sqm. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION / WORK METHODOLOGY FOR PU INJECTION GROUTING 1. Holes of 10mm dia shall be drilled on the leakage/damp spot in the Ceiling of the R.C slab using a portable Electric drill and a non-return ball-valve packer shall be fixed in the holes. 2. Supplying and injecting PU based foam injection grout MEYCO MP355 1K – through the above fixed packers using a High-pressure one component Resin Injection pump until point of refusal. In case dripping of resin is observed through the packer hole, then the same shall be temporarily plugged with Masterseal 505 – Instant plugging compound. Note: Whilst we recommend the simultaneous injection of Acrylate Resin Masterflex 810 to stabilize the leak zone, this additional process would involve the fixing of an additional packer alongside the one fixed as in (1) above and the Acrylate resin Masterflex 810 shall be grouted with the same pump but after 24 hours of injecting Meyco MP355 1K.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION / WORK METHODOLOGY FOR CEMENT BASED INJECTION GROUTING 1. Holes of 18mm dia shall be drilled on the leakage/damp spot in the Ceiling of the R.C slab using a portable Electric drill and a PVC nozzle of suitable size shall be fixed in it. 2. Injecting Cementitious Injection grout using Cement Slurry admixed with Flowable 50 – Non-shrink grout additive @ 250gms per Cement bag, through the above fixed nozzle until point of refusal. The nozzle shall then be plugged with Masterseal 505 – Instant plugging compound. 3. The nozzles can be removed the next day and the hole shall be plugged with Masterseal 505 – Instant plugging compound.
Providing Micro concreting / Non shrink grout as per the following technical specification 1. The affected concrete member shall be cleaned thoroughly by wire brush cleaning and washed with copious amount of water by high pressure water-jetting. 2. Exposed reinforcement bars – if corroded shall be cleaned by manual wire-brush cleaning and applied with Concresive ZRi – Epoxy Zinc rich primer or NITO ZINC (fosroc) as per the Technical and application recommendations of the manufacturer and allowed to dry for at least 24 hours. 3. Supplying and Applying Concretive 1414 / Nit bond EP – Epoxy based Bonding Agent over the above prepared Concrete using a stiff brush as per the Technical and Application recommendations of the manufacturer. 4. Supplying and Pouring Emaki S46T / Rendon HB2 – Cementitious Non-shrink, Micro Concrete into the erected formwork, for a nominal thickness of 50mm and whilst the above Bonding agent is tacky, and as per the Technical and Application recommendations of the manufacturer. 5. The formwork/shuttering shall be removed the next day and cured by placing wet hessian bags over the treated member.
Supplying and fixing GI base clamp as approved by engineer incharge of all size upto 300mm wide (Minimum Weight of 0.6 Kgs) (galvanized) for laying/ fixing pipe lines of various diameter on walls, the rate inclusive of necessary U-clamp for fixing pipes, anchor fastener for fixing the clamp etc complete
Providing and fixing 25mm tk x 100-150mm height polyethylene sheet / pad (hydrocell of FOSROC) used for expansion joint / vibration isolation as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and Fixing student shoe stand of size 650mm wide, 700mm Height and 150mm thick with a dimenssion tolerance of +-5mm. Shoe rack to be made using 1mm thick mild steel plate with minimu of 50 micron powder coating of required color. Three numbers of racks made of 1mm thick mild steel sloted plates to be provided. Tray to be provided with 2 rows of slots at 20mm clear spacing. Size of slots to be 50mm length and 8mm wide at 14mm center to center along the length of the tray. Two doors of 600mm height and 150mm wide to be provided at both sides. Doors shall be provided with full height hinges, door knob and eye bolt holder. Detailed drawing to be referred for the work. Rate quoted shll include cost of fabricatation, fixing on the walls with necessary nails and screws and making good to the walls. It shall be provided with nessary GI supports at the bottom and middle level to prevent the sagging. Sample shoe rack is installed in Cauvery hostel room No.1010.
Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
Applying super premium quality 100% interior Acrylic emulsion paint (ICI /Asian / Berger / Nippon / Nerolac) : (two or more coats over a primer coat including complete scraping, other surface preparation like removal of loose paint residuals, damaged plastering, repairs to plaster, white cement based (JK / Birla) touch up putty / primer and making good the wall surface etc) Applying interior paint of approved colour, make, brand and product with surface coverage of painting as per the manufacturer specification. The interior paint shall be applied over dry surface after complete scraping and removal of all loose or defective paint or powdery residue using mechanical methods with Zero dust vaccum technology followed with sealing the surface with a coat of approved interior primer before application of top coat of exterior paint. The contractor shall also carryout necessary surface preparation including removal of loose plastering, patch plastering, crack filling, micro-concreting, application of damp proof coating and making good the wall surface etc wherever required before applying primer coat. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc.
Two or more coats : Enamel painting for doors / windows / steel works / wall panels (two or more coats excluding primer) on both exterior and interior surface of wooden and steel joineries using approved colour, make and brand of synthetic enamel paint two or more coats. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be executed as per the detailed specifications and special conditions. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc.

Wiring for circuit/ submain wiring alongwith earth wire with the following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in recessed medium class PVC conduit as required. The charges inclusive of chase cutting of wall using cutting machine including plastering with necessary cement, sand & bricks making the wall surface in good condition
