Masonry maintenance, miscellaneous works, disposal of garbage of various labs and buildings inside IGCAR complex during the year 2025 to 2026.

Amount

All kinds of soil with depth upto 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 50 metres.

Supplying and filling in basement with Quarry dust, filling in layers of not more than 150mm thick, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/mechanical roller including watering, levelling, dressing the top surface to the required level complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer.

Conveying the surplus excavated earth, broken materials, debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil, @ 30% in respect of debris and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 2 kilometre but not exceeding 3 kilometre

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 25mm maximum size graded aggregates and crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.

Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture, mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item. Note: 1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture. Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility 2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor. 3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete. Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rate of cement specified in Schedule F.

M20 grade with 320 kg. of cement per cu.m. of concrete for all floors

M30 grade with 370 kg. of cement per cu.m. of concrete for all floors

Manufacturing, supplying, hoisting and fixing in position at all lifts, precast units of various patterns and sizes for precast plain solid units, slabs, exhaust fan moulds etc., in reinforced cement concrete of 1:2:4, using 20mm and below machine crushed graded stone aggregate and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, casting, vibrating, finishing of exposed faces, curing, necessary formwork & moulds, transporting and placing at all lifts, preparation of connections, grouting with cement mortar/cement grout wherever needed excluding steel reinforcement complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 'SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make' and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. Note: The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel. The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department. Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixing coil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted.

Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment’s/pipe and sleeves/penetration etc. using MS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, square sections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required shall also be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like trusses, purlins etc. using MS hollow / circular / square / rectangular tubular sections including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required also arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Providing and fixing roofing sheet, cladding with 0.47mm thick colour coated concelled system profile corrugated/semi corrugated/plain zincalume sheets of 55mpa yield stress (AS 1397 – Zincalume AZ 150) with coating class AS/NZS 2728 (minimum 150 grams per relevant standard) having a total coating thickness of 35 micron. The sheet should be rolled over specially designed concealed fixing clip manufactured from hi-tensile Aluminium Zinc alloy Zincalumen steel based and galvanized hooks. The clip should be fastened with minimum 40micron Zinc coated / minimum 25micron Zinc-Tin alloy coated. The rate is inclusive of all fixtures required for fixing the side roof, cladding on all sides, ridges etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing brick masonry at all lifts using well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand including suitable scaffolding, raking out joints, curing complete as per specifications and drawings for foundation, superstructure, etc. for the following floors.

Providing and constructing at all floors and lifts 115mm thick brick work in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand and using well burnt stock bricks including providing and placing in position 2 nos of 8mm dia rods at every 4th layer, scaffolding, curing, racking out the joint on both faces etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing Random Rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6 using crushed stone sand and using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at 2.00 metres apart for foundation, basement and in superstructure, compound/boundary walls, including sizing of stones if required, raking out joints, scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at all lifts.

Providing Flush pointing with cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand at all levels over the random rubble masonry wall including scaffolding, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 25mm thick Indian patent stone flooring and skirting with cement concrete 1:2:4, using 10mm and below size hard broken granite stone jelly and crushed stone sand including dividing strips, laying in panels, consolidating, curing, rubbing the surface smooth, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying approved quality mirror polished Granite slabs for flooring & Skirting of required size & specified colour, pattern and free from cracks, fissures & flakes with straight edges & perfect corners laid at right angles as per pattern over a bedding of cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand, 20mm thick (or backing of cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thick as mentioned below) pointed neatly with white cement mixed with colouring pigment to match colour of slab and finished in all respects, including machine / hand cutting to required size and shape, moulding and polishing of exposed edges, fixing stone to level and plumb, anti-skid grooves for steps, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area, all materials and labour complete. Note: The sample Granite slab shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement.

In flooring 18mm thick Granite slab fixing with 20mm thick bedding in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand.

Providing plastering to the internal surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thick finished with a floating coat of neat cement including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 20mm thick in two coats including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications.

Providing plastering in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thick at all elevations with 2% of water proofing compound or as per manufacturers specification, ‘Impermo’ or approved equivalent make including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, all as per specifications.

Providing Rough cast plastering 20mm thick at all elevations and levels consisting of 8mm thick rough cast in cement mortar 1:3 using 6mm to 10mm size hard granite stone and crushed stone sand, over a bed of 12mm thick cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand for external faces, including scaffolding, curing, providing grooves wherever required complete all as per specification & drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with premium Plastic emulsion paint (Asian or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of cement primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying painting Two coats on wood work and other required internal surface at all levels with Synthetic enamel paint (Asian or approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Painting with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) using APCODUR-CF-641 finishing coat at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer' specifications including a priming coat if specified by the manufacturer, preparation of surface and etching with 10% commercial Hydrochloric acid wherever necessary and neutralizing the acid etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash neatly and washing with sufficient water, after first coat Epoxy based trowelling compound if required, including preparation of the surface by scrapping, applying sand paper, filling the holes, joints, cracks if any, etc. complete all as per manufacturers Technical Data and as directed at site to achieve 150micron Dry film thickness (50 Micron Primer coat and 100micron finishing Coat). (Contractor has to provide Elcometer sampling sheets etc. at his cost for testing film thickness)

Providing and fixing PVC rain water downtake pipes conforming to IS:13592 Type A and PVC SWR Fittings & specials confirming to IS:14735, ‘Finolex’ or other approved equivalent make of pipes, fittings & specials including jointing with seal ring / with PVC solvent adhesive including fixing in walls/columns using clamps, anchor fasteners, bolts and teakwood packing pieces, joint testing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting of road consisting of asphaltic concrete road surface including WBM Soling, making WBM and soling to original condition after work completed with retrieved materials including supply of extra quantities of materials i.e. aggregate, moorum, screening, red bajri not exceeding 15% of the original materials along with new materials and disposing all unwanted materials to place specified with lead upto 50m complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes conforming to IS:458, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 using crushed stone sand, laying to the levels, slopes including testing of joints etc. complete all as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling weather proofing old bitumen felt or App membrane sheets at all levels and cleaning the surface including disposal of rubbish to the dumping yard within 50 metres lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing chicken-mesh reinforcement of 1.5mm dia steel wire with hexagonal or rectangular openings of 10 to 13mm, fixing using nails, including cutting of required sizes complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 65mm thick rubber moulded with vibratory compaction Factory made cement concrete precast Interlocking paver block of M30 grade made and approved size, shape, design, colour & pattern including laid over 100mm thick compacted bed of crushed stone sand (coarse sand), filling the joints with coarse sand, compaction mechanically etc. all complete all as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The sample tile shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge before procurement.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed floor/wall tiles confirming to IS 15622 of approved make in approved size, shade and colour (as approved by Engineer-in-charge), free from cracks, fissures & flakes with straight edges & perfect corners fixed at right angles as per design and pattern required over a bed of 20mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand (in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand), including machine / hand cutting to required size and shape, pointed neatly with white cement mixed with colouring pigment to match colour of tile, properly finished in all respects, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area, all materials and labour complete. Note: The sample tile shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement.

In flooring fixing with 20mm thick bedding in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand.

In Dados and skirting laid over 12mm thick backing in cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand.

Providing and fixing in position 50mm thick Thermocole board heavy density minimum 18.00 Kg/Cu.m weight wrapped in 200micron thickness polythene sheets and placing in machine foundation works complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Levelling the area to the required gradient in all types of soil including cutting the mounds wherever required, for filling the low lying area in layers not more than 150mm thickness, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/mechanical roller including ramming, consolidation, levelling to proper gradient, dressing the top surface to the required level, conveying the surplus excavated soil by head load upto a lead of 200m, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying stock bricks as per standard specifications for using in brick masonry works (for repair works only) in IGCAR area and stacking at the place as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying Crushed stone sand for civil construction work (for repair works only) such as brick masonry / concrete plastering etc. and stacking at place shown for measurement etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning the sun shades roof gutters at all levels of various building, removing the vegetation growth and cleaning the drain pipes, spouts periodically as and when required, conveying the removed unwanted materials to the bins as directed, cutting and making opening in brick masonry, RCC concrete, removing the debris, disposing off as directed, attending the masonry repairs and making good the sides of hole packing the removed portion of the inside by filling concrete / brick work including finishing the surfaces etc. construction of brick masonry foundation walls wherever required etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying Ordinary Portland Cement of 43 grade conforming to IS:8112 in paper bags to Civil maintenance stores at IGCAR Kalpakkam including transporting all taxes and levies etc. all complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and erecting scaffolding for high bay for doing repair works using MS pipes with clamps, base plates with necessary screw jacks, supporting arrangements including staging handrails with vertical support including safety aspects using safely belts with accessories and lifting device for construction materials using pulley etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. - Scaffolding up to + 15.00 M from Ground level

Sweeping and cleaning the terrace concrete surfaces in various labs and other building areas in IGCAR complex including collecting and disposing the swept material to the nearest bin with a lead of 300metres etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying of 20mm hard blue granite metal (for repair works only) etc. and stacking at place shown for measurement etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collection of garbage in vehicle from bins near the buildings/road sides of IGCAR areas conveying to dumping yard, including loading, unloading, dumping, pushes to low level and leveling etc. with lead beyond 2km upto 3kilometres as directed by the Engineer -in-charge. Note: The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of Food debris and @ 50% in respect of Papers and other Bulkey materials from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements.

Providing pointing the precast RCC slab with cement mortar 1:3 between the joints of precast slabs and the jointing/pointing into a depth of 40mm and to the full width available into the existing slab, including curing, cleaning as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for precast slab size upto 600x600mm.

Leveling, bull-dozing the heeped / dumped loosened earth / debris etc., by hiring JCB / Bull-dozer etc., including including Transporting, operating the vehicle, operating the vehicle by engaging driver/operator with valid driving license, diesel charges, insurance and admissible taxes, labour if any required etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hire charges for machine jockey hammer for breaking reinforcement, concrete etc. including labour if any required etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Leveling, bull dozing the heaped / dumped loosened earth, debris etc., by hiring Excavator 140 Model (Poclain) including including Transporting, operating the vehicle, operating the vehicle by engaging driver/operator with valid driving license, diesel charges, insurance and admissible taxes, labour if any required etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Core cutting of RCC / Masonry wall / Floor / Roof, depth of 150mm using Diamond core drilling equipment, without disturbing the existing structure and making the cutting edges smooth and even, including labour charges etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Removing and relaying of Interlocking paver blocks of various thickness, size including stocking at site and relaying the same from the stock, also removing and stacking, transportation, relaying, leveling and compacting of Sand / Crushed Sand from the existing paved area, etc., complete all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete in all respects as per clause 401 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (5th revision or latest) and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for following.
