ROAD WORK

Excavation for roadway in soil including loading and unloading in/from truck for carrying of suitable cut earth to embankment site and disposing off unsuitable earth with all lifts and lead upto1000 metres as per clauses of section-300.

With hard muram having CBR >12 % at under floors including watering, ramming and compacting (minimum compaction 95% of MDD) in layers not exceeding 20cm in thickness and dressing complete. (Note:- maximum thickness of this layer to be provided shall be 30cm

Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (CBR>30 or more) (Table:- 400-1 & Table 400-2) Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material like natural sand crushed gravel or crushed stone having CBR >30, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator or plant mix method at OMC, and compacting with vibratory rollers of 80 to 100 kN static weight to achieve the desired density, complete as per Clause 401 of Specification.

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density in accordance to Table No. 400-12, 400-13 and as per clause of section 406 of specifications.

Prime coat Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.75 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of specifications.

Providing and applying tack coat with catonic bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications. @ 0.25 kg/sqm(normal bituminous surface)

Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5% by weight of total mix of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a Electronic Sensor paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 505 of specification complete in all respects. for Grading I(40 mm nominal size ) Bitumen Content minimum 4% with bitumen 60/70 (VG 30)

Bituminous Concrete Providing and laying bituminous concrete using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 % by weight of total mix of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a Electronic Sensor paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 507 of specification. Using Batch Mix Plant of appropriate capacity for Grading-I ( 50-65 mm thickness ) Bitumen Content minimum 5.2% with 60/70bitumen (VG-30)

Close Graded Premix Surfacing/Mixed Seal Surfacing (Mechanical means using HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes /hour.) Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-A) or 13.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-B) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a Smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity & finishing to required level and grade all complete as per clause 508 of specifications. with 60/70 butumen (VG-30)

Cast in Situ Cement Concrete M 20 Kerb with Channel Construction of cement concrete kerb with channel with top and bottom width 115 and 165 mm respectively, 250 mm high in M 20 grade PCC on M15 grade foundation 150 mm thick, kerb channel 300 mm wide, 50 mm thick in PCC M20 grade, sloped towards the kerb, kerb stone with channel laid with kerb laying machine, foundation concrete laid manually, all complete as per clause 409 Using Concrete Mixer

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beeds on Bituminous surface. Providing and applying (Cleaning of Bituminous surface) thermoplastic compound having composition of binder (Regin) minimum 18 %, titanium dioxide minimum 10 % and intermixed glass beed, minimum 30% of brand like Asian, Burger or equivalent make of 2.5 mm thick including drop down reflectorizing, glass beeds @ 250 gms per sqm area thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beeds as per IRC:35.The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes, all complete as per clause 803 of specifications. Note:- The guarantee of Thermoplastic should be minimum 3 Years.

PCC M-15 in Foundation Plain cement concrete M-15 mix with crushed stone aggregate40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days. as per MORT&H Specification 409.

Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 sand) including testing of joints etc. complete : 600 mm dia. R.C.C. pipe
