Operation of Air Field Lighting System.

Thoroughly checking of all the CCR i.e PCB boards,Transformer,input-output current vlaluation,fuse carrier,insight short circuit and any damaged spare etc. (one additional spare CCR (presently unserviceable) placed be considered in scope too)

Runway Edge light to be Inspected and checking of transformer,connector,lugs and lances to be done properly.

Taxi light to be Inspected and checking of transformer,connector,lugs and lances to be done properly.

Approach light to be Inspected and checking of transformer,connector,lugs and lances to be done properly.

Ground Traffic Control Lights to be Inspected and checked in complete all as specified and directed.

Tower Red lamp deger to be Inspected and checked in complete all as specified and directed

Aviation Obstruction lamps , to be Inspected and checking to be done properly in complete. The scope includes the status /checking for maintenance/repairs required for obstruction light installed at top of NDB mast ATC tower. In addition to this, obstruction lights of DVOR and Glide path checking /status be ascertained.

AVASI to be Inspected and checking of transformer,connector,lugs and lances to be done properly.(Note: Scope includes checking of additional AVASI lights as in network whether in seviceable or unserveciable state) Approximate 72 AVASI connections/lights.

Checking of DTGM( Distance to Go markers( complete set of items in total system) properly in complete.

Checking of Change over switch 415 V 4 Pole to be done in complete.

Checking and inspection of aerodrome beacon lamps( complete set of items in total system) and checking of motors and various type relay

Checking and inspection of AMF Panel/control panel/Switch boards including switches connectors junction box etc.

Checking of all the network/UG cable of runway lights system including inspecting the cable from end to end,check the insulation,measure the volt drop calculation according to input.

The number of lights of Airfield Lighting System may be varied as and when other circuits are made seviceable. Hence feasibility for such arrangements in future be brought out .

After completion of inspection final survey report to be submitted to custumer including complete network diagram to the scale, complete fittings/items indicated, network diagram inside substation/control room, inspection report of each item,quantity and technical description of items found serviceable and also item to have outlived its useful life/defective/required repairs/replacement including its quotation . Any other expert remarks/suggestion for proper maintenace and upkeeping of runway lights be submitted. Any other technical requirement deemed neccesary by department/user on ground to be considered by the team visiting .The quote for services of manpower required as intimated be aslo to be provided.

The scope includes the following -

Suitable tools, testing tools to be used for the above work i.e Megger,Voltmeter,cable tester,cable defect finding kit etc

Necessary manpower to be provided including One senior engineer,One technician & one helper to carry out the defect finding and visual inspection to entire machinery and equipment.

(i) The quantities(Nos) of item mentioned may vary as per actual ground condition and certain items in network but not mentioned are deemed to be considered in scope of checking /report and includes checking of the whole serviceable/unserveciable items under runway lighting system/arrangement and the firm quoting is deemed have visited/ascertained the same and agreed for same.

(ii) The firm quoting should have experience in Runway lighting system repairs/AMC/CMC and should attach credentials along with quote .

(iii) The checking/testing will be carried out in the presence of user rep.
