REPAIR/MAINT OF LT CABLE, OVERHEAD LINES, LT PANELS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT 22 PUNJAB REGT, 6 JAK RIF, 156 INF BN TA AND 3/8 GR KERI UNDER AGE (I) CIF (R)

M&L in Taking down unsv/defective PCC/Steel tubular pole, keeping away from site and Supply, fixing and erection of Steel tubular swaged pole 09 Mtr metre long, type 410 SP-31, weight not less than 154 kgs, pole should be in one piece only and smooth finishing, ISI marked conforming to IS:2713-1980, complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws, washers and drilling of holes for continuous GI earth wire as specified, Including Poles shall be coated with two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally, and externally up to the planting depth. The remaining portion of the exterior shall be painted with one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed .

M&L in replacement of earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60 cmX 6.0 mm buried in the ground with earth pit to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected with GI strip of 25 x 4 mm earthing lead by means of GI nut & bolts,GI washers and earth wire protected by GI pipe 32 mm bore, light care, including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 of size 45x45x45 cm, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 as cover of size 40x40x10 cm with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia MS bar, GI funnel wire mesh , 20 mm bore GI pipe , medium grade, for watering, charcoal or coke and salt packed all around in alternate layers necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I including testing on completion including demolition to existing one complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (i) PCC pit, RCC pit cover, GI earth protection & watering pipe, funnel, earth strip upto 7.5Mtr etc shall deemed to be included in the unit area. (ii) GI earth strip above 7.5 m length, if required, for earthing shall be paid and measured seperately as ''Supply only'').

Excavation in trenches, in any type of soil not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc or not exceeding 10sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for pole, shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out of any type of soil for laying UG cables of various sizes complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no.4 above but depth exceeding beyond 1.5 m and not exc 3 metre all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc25 cm in any type of soil.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for well burnt bricks,Sub class 'B' bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for sand cushioning with fine dry unwashed sand in trenches for protection of cables complete all as specified and directed.

M&L under ground XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts (earthed) gradeof following cross sectional area laid in trenches/ pipes/ ducts/ wall/ boarings with necessary cable lugs and glands, nuts, bolts and washers etc and testing including disconnecting and taking out of existing LT cable of any type and size complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells, Finolex, KEI Note:- Excavation and earth, sand coushioning and protection for cable work shall be measured and paid separately.
