GEAFU-28 OF 2026-27 PERIODIC SURFACE PAINTING, WHITE WASHING ETC OF RIGID SURFACES AND FLEXIBLE SURFACES, JOINT FILLING AND EPOXY REPAIRS OF DISPERSALS ETC INCLUDING GRASS CUTTING OF EDGES OF RUNWAY, TAXI AND OTHER RELATED WORKS AT AF STN UDHAMPUR

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of ORA of runway and PTT and applying two coats of white wash on floors /Wall complete all as specified and directed.

M &L for Preparation of Old decorated or unplastered surfaces of including cleaning brooming down or with steel wire brushing, scrapping down moulds, moss and efflorescent salts etc and applying One coat of White/coloured ready made paint ( White/Yellow/ Orange /Black/ Grey or any other shade as directed) over a coat of primer shall stand out boldly & solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath, water based paint as in line dashes circle arrows letters and the like exceeding 10cm in width. If necessary shall be repainted until the desired result is obtained complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of any type of surfaces and Painting lines,dashes,arrows,letters,etc. on roads pavements and like n exc 10cm wide with road marking paint (black/ white/ golden yellowor any other shade as directed) complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparation of any type of surfaces and applying One coat of Synthitic enamel (ordinary tint ) Painting of concrete Surface incl a coat of primer over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for marking/numbering in concrete surfaces using white synthetic enamel paint over and incl black painted surface including writing letter or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n.exc 30 cm height, complete all as secified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Complete Removing old paint (Road marking paints/Water Base paint) by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth complete all as specified and as directed

M &L for Preparation of any type of surfacesand applying two coats of coloured ready made paint ( Yellow/Orange /Black/ Grey) over a coat of primer shall stand out boldly & solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath, water based paint as in line dashes circle arrows letters and the like exceeding 10cm in width. If necessary shall be repainted until the desired result is obtained complete all as specified and directed.

Raking out existing filling in expansion joints, construction joints, dummy joints upto 25mm depth including scrubbing of joints with diamond cutter machine(Heavy duty) or gas flame torch with heat application to complete remove existing sticking sealing compound incl old back up rod / Bitumen from the sides , top and bottom of joints and totally cleaning the top surface of joints with brush and finally fanning with compressed air to make the joints free from all loose materials i.e dirt/dust etc to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, applying with provision of bond breaker tape on bottom of joint and filling depth of joint with provision of polyethylene back up rod of suitable dia to ensure tight packing so that no gap or voides exist at the top of back up rod. The deteriorated edges of concrete joints (included upto 50mm either sides of the joints) shall be made good to true line with provision of polymer concrete. Joints (16mm to 24 mm wide) shall be sealed with provision of polyurethane based sealant with primer and filling the joints with polyurethane based sealing compound as laid down in manufacturers instructions and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Minimum clear depth of sealant above back up rod shall be10 mm complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES:-(i) Size of joints shall be made by cutting; in case not available at site. (ii) If width of joints by cutting exceeds as specified above, the same shall be filled by polyurethane based sealant and no extra payment shall be made. (iii) Remaining depth at bottom (after keeping provision for back up rod & sealant) shall be filled with sand and cost of same shall be deemed included in item rate quoted by tenderer. No extra payment for provisioning of sand (if any) shall be made. (iv) Masking tape shall be applied on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and shall be removed after filling with sealant. Cost of the same shall be deemed included in item rate quoted by tenderer.
