Providing of services for comprehensive maintenance, manning and operation of central type AC plant installed at storage shed No. 1 & 2 of capacity 32TR (DX System) for 8 hours duration in three shifts , operated by one operator for all days including Sunday and holiday including checkup and cleaning i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly of central AC Plant comprising of compressors, motors, condensers, cooling tower, AHU, refrigerant piping control, pumps, water pipe line and controls, electric panel, instruments, starters, strip heaters and control cable/wiring complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for smooth and efficient performance of AC Plant to achieve desired inside conditions (Room temperature – 20 degree centigrade + 2 degree centigrade and humidity 55% + 5%) throughout the currency of contract. Providing of services for comprehensive maintenance, manning and operation of central type AC plant installed at sand model room (Ops Room) OTM IV of capacity 52 TR (chillar type) in two shift of 8 hours duration, operated by one operator for all days including Sunday and holiday including checkup and cleaning i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly of central AC Plant comprising of compressors, motors, condensers, cooling tower, AHU, refrigerant piping control, pumps, water pipe line and controls, electric panel, instruments, starters, strip heaters and control cable/wiring complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for smooth and efficient performance of AC Plant to achieve desired inside conditions (Room temperature – 20 degree centigrade + 2 degree centigrade and humidity 55% + 5%) throughout the currency of contract. NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NO 1 & 2 ABOVE :

To provide above services, the contractor shall employ one operator (ITI qualified operator in the concerned trade) for each shift irrespective of lockdown during any kind of pendemic.

Timing of shift will be as specified or fixed by Engineer-in-Charge.

AC Plant in operating state will be handed over at the commencement of the contract mentioned in work order.

Necessary tools and plants required at installations shall be provided by the contractor.

Cleaning of Installation area out door and indoor shall be carried out daily and contractor shall be fully responsible for the same.

Spare parts as required for repairs and maintenance of AC Plant shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

The minor hardware parts, like nuts, bolts, washers, screws, tape insulation, thimbles, short piece of cable for small joints and parts other than mentioned in BOQ shall be provided by the contractor.

Major complaints if noticed in the installation shall be immediately intimated to concerned JE or AGE (E/M).

It is the responsibility of contractor to provide rest reliever and make arrangement during the holiday/leave and the rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates and no extra payment will be given to contractor on this account

The cost effect as per above notes shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates and nothing extra shall be payable over and above.

COVID-19 guidelines shall be fallowed by the operator as per Govt of India Min of Home Affairs notifications. It will be mendatory to live at least 50% of staff/operators inside the Mil Stn/Cantt area during lockdown/emergency. No extra shall be deemed to be pad to contractor on this account.

The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages (inclusive reliever to operator as per labour act) as notified by the Govt. of India / State Government / Local body, whichever is higher

Taking down, dismantling and opening of the compressor model SMC-4-65 (Make ACCEL) for over hauling, cleaning, washing, machining and mechanical repair work etc. Checking of its all parts for serviceability/unserviceability and reassembling all serviceable parts all as per original, and replacement of defective parts as required for smooth functioning of the compressor and testing after erection in original position to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- (i) All defective/unserviceable spare parts/items required for over hauling shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate items mentioned in BOQ here-in-after as supply only (ii) Gas charging and gas and compressor oil shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items of BOQ here-in-after as supply and charging)
