| 4.00Laying/ installation of CARRIER coated line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: "Receiving and taking over" of "free issue" Line pipes from Trailers received from Supplier's / Dump Yard location in Vijaipur; Carrying out inspection of Line pipes at the time of receiving and taking-over, recording of pipe & coating defects at the time of taking over in the presence of Owner's representative, handling, hauling and transportation from designated place of issue to Contractor's storage and/or Worksite (s); including arranging all equipments, trailers, trucks & manpower; fabrication, consumables, equipment, labour, etc.; Stacking and installation of construction markers, Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects not attributable to Owner; thorough internal cleaning of all pipes by suitable methods to remove debris, shots, grits etc.; Clearning of the ROU, cutting the shrubs, grading, removal of unwanted material from ROU, trial pits for locating the existing pipeline/utilities/cablings, Stringing of line pipes along ROU including providing straw bags, soft padding/sand padding; Aligning, fabrication and installation cold field bending, cutting and beveling (as required) of pipes for welding and field adjustments, NDT & NDT of re-beveled area, welding, carrying out destructive & non- destructive testing of welds required as per approved NDT specifications (including PAUT + TOFD), 100% radiography of weld joint and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, consumables etc.; carrying out repairs of weld joints as required, carrying out Re- PAUT+TOFD and other non-destructive tests on repaired joints, etc. At the descretion of Owner/EPCM,in place of (PAUT + TOFD), RT may also be opted as per need or actual site condition/requirement without any extra cost implication to Owner. Contractor has to maintain the record of DGPS coordinates of each weld joints (including tie-in joints),Bends and including the same in field inspection reports in the section in a prescribed format and will submit the same to EPCM/Owner for review/approval. Also the GPS coordinate of all the crossing, HDD, Railways, Water body, reference locations and any other point as directed by EIC to be recorded and included in the format and report. Carrying out air cleaning, pigging, flushing, cleaning and hydrostatic testing of complete pipeline including pre-testing of designated sections complete as per specification and approved by Owner/ EPCM to specified pressures indicated elsewhere and duration after stabilization as per specification, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester, pressure recorder, thermocouples etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air, etc. as required, locating of leaks and rectification of defects, re-testing after rectification, dewatering, swabbing, drying after successful completion of hydrotesting of entire section and as approved by Owner/ Owner’s Representative. | ||||||||
| 5.00Installation of carrier pipe including concrete coated pipes (wherever required), (Concrete Coating on pipes will be paid separately) at all crossings including roads/ canals/ nala/ water crossings etc. including pre-testing as required; Carrying out installation of carrier pipe in the casing pipe at cased crossings (wherever required); Supply and application of Field Joint Coating at all weld Joints, long radius bends (fabrication of 6D bends by induction heating covered separately), buried fittings etc.; Supply & Installation of warning tape. | 7.00The work includes the Survey data & site preparation, Stringing/Chainges in direction, Beveling of pipe element, Welding Procedure Qualification & Welders Qualification, Welding of pipe element, Inspection & testing of production welds, Field joint coating, controlled blasting, chiseling, etc., Material hand over & material handling, Lowering-in & ballasting, Hydrotesting, Swabbing, Drying. All crossings execution HDD or cased crossing as mentioned in Crossing List (including installation of carrier pipe inside the Casing at cased crossing, if required) , Backfilling (for all depths in all types of soil, soft /hard rock) , including trench padding with sand, graded earth in rocky areas & rock shield( if required as per specs) reinstatement (restoration) and preparation of As-built Alignment & Crossing drawings. All above works shall be executed in accordance with scope of work, GTS, PTS, Drawings and other provisions of contract document and instructions of Owner/Owner's representative, including but not limited to carrying out the above works. Note: 1. Supply and Installation of OFC and HDPE Ducts along the entire pipeline route, adjacent to the new pipeline, along with all required accessories, fittings and associated items, is covered separately elsewhere in the SOR. 2. Contractor is advised to visit the site prior to quote for the Tender. Wherever, due to space constraints and insufficient soil cover for the existing pipe, heavy vehicle movement is not allowed in existing pipeline corridor. Hence, lifting and movement of pipes and all necessary equipment (Welding Machine, Testing Equipmets etc.) shall be done by manual leading with help of trolley, chain pulley at those specific of locations in the ROU. Contractor is advised to visit the site accordingly prior to quote the Bid. | ||||||||

| 10.00Contractor has to restore any damage of road, drain, pavement, footpath or any other structure related to municipality or any other authority to its complete satisfaction. Contractor has to liaison with the authority beforehand the start of the work and inform the methodology and schedule of the work to authority so that any descrepancy at later stage may be avoided. After completion of work contractor has to submit NOC from respective authority. Also, Contractor has to plan the Pipeline work in such a way that the public or any other utility inconveniency should be minimized. During laying of Pipe under bitumen road/paver block road, alternate temporary motorable road has to be constructed by contractor. All necessary permission for work (from MoeF or any other concerned authority/Statutory Authority) will be obtained by GAIL. However before executing the work, necessary liaisoning and co-ordination with concerened Authority, shall be done by contractor.
INSTALLATION OF PIPELINE OF FOLLOWING SPECIFICATION IN TRENCH
all be part of this item. 2. Supply of all Gaskets, Stud-Bolts & Nuts for all the flanged joints to be used in the piping shall be provided by the contractor along with flanges. Supply of flanges are paid separately as per schedule of rates indicated elsewhere in this SOR.
Notes:- 1. This item excludes installation of above ground pipeline at terminals (beyond insulating joint) which is covered separately 2. This item excludes pipeline installation by HDD technique which is covered separately 3. Rate for Laying of OFC and OFC conduit shall be quoted in relevant Schedule of Rate (SOR) of Instrumentation/ Telecom works, hence not to be included in pipeline laying works 4. Laying of LR Bend is included in this SOR item. Length will be counted including Bend Length. 5. Handling, transportation, loading & unloading of Pipe is included in rate. 6. Total cover depth from pipe top shall be 1200 mm.
CARRIER PIPE INSTALLATION BY HDD TECHNIQUE AT RAILWAY CROSSING
Fabrication of Piping as per Sr. No. 22. (For Pipe Size below 2 inch, 100% PAUT + TOFD, Magnetic Particle & Dye Penetration Test as per the requirement of specification) Note: 1. Rate for Handling, required for Fabrication of pipe, flange, fittings, gaskets, nuts, bolt stud, etc. shall be part of this item. 2. Supply of all Gaskets, Stud-Bolts & Nuts for all the flanged joints to be used in the piping shall be provided by the contractor along with flanges. Supply of flanges are paid separately as per schedule of rates indicated elsewhere in this SOR.
Installation of 6" CS Conduit Pipe for HDPE Duct by HDD technique including Complete Welding & Painting of the String, End Seal Note : Payment Against Supply of 6" CS Conduit Pipe will be done seperately (Inside plant: 100 meter)

All works for locating major leak/burst (occurred during hydrostatic testing) including necessary repairing/replacing defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, pretesting of replacement pipe and welding into mainline, NDT of welds and re-bevelled area, repair and re-testing of defective welds, coating of welded joints, clean-up, retesting the pipeline including providing all necessary equipments, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, scope of work, specifications, standards enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. This rate is applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied material only.

IDLE TIME PRESERVATION OF PIPELINE
Preservation of complete pipeline and associated facilities and its maintenance including supply of all consumables, all equipment, man- power, etc., complete as per the requirements of specifications, scope of work, standards, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge.

COMMISSIONING ASSISTANCE FOR HYDROCARBON PIPELINE
OVERALL COMMISSIONING OF ENTIRE PIPELINE SYSTEM Overall commissioning including system checks, inertisation (as required) and charging of entire pipeline system, including all stations and all associated facilities including notifying the Company that the pipeline system is ready for commissioning; Review of status jointly with the Company and obtaining final clearance for start of commissioning; Development and submission of commissioning procedures including detailed calculations for slug lengths, obtaining Company approval thereupon, carrying out overall commissioning of the total pipeline system including all facilities and all necessary coordination/ liaison with other Contractor(s) operations; Carrying out commissioning; Supply of all equipment like Nitrogen vapourisers (as required), along with all piping and instruments, temporary venting/ flaring/draining facilities as applicable, man-power, consumables including pigs and required quantity of Nitrogen (as required); Performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, Drawings, scope of work, PTS- Construction of Natural Gas Pipelines, GTS, standards, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
SURFACE PREPARATION & PAINTING (Inside Plant area)
Complete supply of all the painting materials, transportation of materials to site, storage, providing necessary scaffolding, cleaning, surface preparation by shot / grit blasting to SA 21/2 Swedish Specification SIS 055900, application, testing and retouching with paints for piping, flanges, valves, supports etc. as per painting specification, scope of work and directions of OWNER/ OWNER’s representative. Complete supply of all the painting materials, transportation of materials to site, storage, providing necessary scaffolding stenciling and Letter writing of name and respective code number in color paint letters/numbers stenciling shall be unbroken. Colour bands and ground colour for colour bands shall be as per codes or as per Engineer-In-Charge's instructions. The above job shall be done as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge's. The rate to include all consumable, overheads, labour and materials required for this job. at all heights and surfaces. The rate to include cost of all consumable, overheads and profits, labour and materials required for this job. Activities involved are : Shot / Grit blasting of surfaces, Primer application, Intermediate coat , Finish Paint coat. Touch-up shall be done after erection. The erected structural/piping/machineries surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned before application of touch and final paint. No separate charges shall be paid for rectifying the damaged surfaces during handling. Note: 1. Refer Painting specification for details of primer, intermediate & Final Coat. 2. Colour coding shall be carried out as per painting specifications at no extra cost for product piping. 3. The coating & testing parameters should comply to ISO 12944 or equivalent standard.

Construction of Granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Each layer compacted separately with 8 to 10 T roller including filling the voids, watering and interstice with downgraded aggregate for proper interlocking. (Refer as per cl.401 of MORTH)

Expansion Joint filler
Providing and laying in position bitumen hot sealing compound for expansion joints etc. : Using Grade 'A' sealing compound. [Note: Unit "CM" shall mean "PER CENTIMETRE DEPTH PER CENTIMETRE WIDTH PER METRE LENGTH"].
KERB STONE
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement in position to the required line, level and curvature jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 coarse sand) including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm) including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment) (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge.

CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEMS
Temporary Cathodic Protection:
Design, Detailed Engineering, Survey, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning & Monitoring of the temporary cathodic protection [TCP] system using galvanic anodes to protect the external surface of the pipeline against soil-side corrosion for a time period of minimum 2 year's or till commissioning of permanent CP system whichever is later . All work shall be carried out conforming to the scope of work, design basis, data sheets, specification, standard drawings and vendor list as attached with this tender and provisions of GCC, SCC , including supply of all materials, equipment, consumables, start up/commissioning spares etc. including transportation, storage of materials at site, manpower, in line with direction of Engineer In-charge.
Design & detailed engineering of TCP system which includes submission of design basis, data sheet, calculation ,drawings as per relavant standards & specifications based on soil resistivity, soil ionic & microbial loading, interfering elements surveys along the entire pipeline (Inside Plant: 0.74 Lumpsum , Outside plant: 0.26 Lumpsum)
Soil Resistivity survey at every 1000 mtr ( at every 500 mtr in marshy area, at location of HT line ≥66 kV crossing /parallel, foreign anodebed locations, foreign pipeline crossing.), soil ionic & microbial loading survey & analysis at every 10 Km (Min 03 samples at each location) and wherever Soil variation and Interfering elements elements are present in the pipeline ROW Survey of interfacing elements like foreign pipeline , HT line , underground cables,earthing grid ,railway line,river,canal,road etc. (Inside Plant: 2.5 Km, Outside plant: 1 Km)
Test Station (TS) / Test Lead Point (TLP)
Supply, installation, Testing & Commissioning of Test lead Points (TLP) including weather proof/Ex-Proof Test Lead Box as specified in specification with backlite strip, bolt terminals, 4” dia heavy duty pipe at top end to fit the test lead box and base plate welded at the bottom including MS bend for concrete Base, Bend, Cable termintion , Miscellaneous such as connectors, Excavation and backfilling etc. complete in all respects. The work shall include supply & fixing of a non corrosive name plate containing the details like KM location, identification, TLP No, Direction of flow, connection scheme, type etc., on the side of Top box including the cost of all labour, materials, tools & tackles etc.
Type A for Potential Measurement with provsion of connection for minimum two nos. of 1Cx6 Sq.mm Cu XLPE armoured FRLS Potential measurement cables along with at least four spare terminals (Inside Plant: 1 no., Outside plant: 1 no.)
Type B for Current Measurement with provsion of connection for minimum two nos. of 1Cx6 Sq.mm & two nos.of 1Cx10 Sq.mm Cu XLPE armoured FRLS potential and current measurement cables respectively along with minimum four spare terminals (Inside Plant: 2 nos., Outside plant: 1 no.)

Type D for Cased Crossing with provsion of connection for minimum two nos. of 1Cx06 Sq.mm & Two nos. of 1Cx10 Sq.mm Cu XLPE armoured FRLS Potential measurement & anode connection cables respectively along with minimum four spare terminals (Inside Plant: 2 nos., Outside plant: 2 nos.)
Type E for insulating joint with provsion of connection for minimum two nos. of 1Cx06 Sq.mm & four nos. of 1Cx25 Sq.mm Cu XLPE armoured FRLS Potential measurement & zinc anode connection cables respectively along with minimum four spare terminals. This type of TLP should have provsion & sufficent space to install the SSD. (Inside plant area)
Type H for HT line crossing with provsion of connection for minimum two nos. of 1Cx06 Sq.mm & four nos. of 1Cx25 Sq.mm Cu XLPE armoured FRLS Potential measurement & zinc anode connection cables respectively along with minimum four spare terminals (Inside Plant: 1 no., Outside plant: 2 nos.) This type of TLP should have provsion & sufficent space to install the SSD.
Anodes , Solid State Decoupler (SSD) , Spark Gap Arrestor , Refrence Cell , Polarization Coupon , CIT
Supply , Installation & Testing of 5 KA Solid State Decoupler (SSD). It should be utilized for passage of induced voltage on the pipeline in the vicinity of AC transmission lines to earth during normal as well as fault conditions. It shall maintain the isolation between Zn anode and pipeline so that CP current shall not be consumed by Zn anode. Contractor to supply necessary material required for making connection arrangement between the SSD & the lead cable of Zn grounding cell inside TLP enclosure (Inside Plant: 3 nos., Outside plant: 2 nos.)

Monitoring Test Station For PSP

The scope of work includes collection / measurement of parameters at test stations, submission of reports to Owner & PMC as detailed in technical specifications and rectification/repair of defects/abnormalities to keep the system in healthy position complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge (Inside Plant: 2 months, Outside plant: 2 months)

Notes for TCP items
1. Any other material & activities not mentioned/covered above, but otherwise required for satisfactory completion/safety of work as defined in tender has to be supplied / done by contractor within quoted price. No extra payment shall be made.
2. The above quantities are tentative and may vary during detailed engineering considerably depending upon site condition, methodology adopted as per site requirement with due approval of Owner / Consultant.
3. The quantity may vary during execution stage and payment shall be made based on the work for the actual quantity executed.
Permanent Cathodic Protection:
The adequacy of the existing Cathodic Protection Transformer Rectifier Unit (CPTRU)/ Cathodic Protection Power Supply Module (CPPSM) shall be verified for the proposed new pipeline section to be connected to the existing system. The check shall include assessment of CPTRU/CPPSM output capacity in relation to the total current requirement of the combined pipeline network (Inside Plant: 0.74 Lumpsum , Outside plant: 0.26 Lumpsum)
CP Cables (Inside Plant area)

Equipments coming under TCP system if useful & required in PCP system shall be used effectively in designing of PCP system.
Post Commissioning Surveys
Close Interval Potential Logging (CIPL) survey (Inside Plant: 2.5 Km, Outside plant: 1 Km) Conducting Close Interval ON/OFF Potential Logging Survey at an interval of 1 m over the buried line in the right of way including the cost of all expert manpower, transportation and camping facilities etc. to their employees, materials, test instruments, equipment's, consumables etc., required for the survey as per the standard specifications and approved procedures identification of areas/locations where coating repair is required along with suggestion for remedial measures etc. including the submission of draft reports in 2 sets and incorporation of owner's comments in the draft report and final reports in 6 sets including one soft copy containing the survey results in the graphical as well as tabular forms computerised colour print and complete in all respects and direction
s of Site Engineer / Engineer—in-Charge.
Current Attenuation test (CAT) survey of the entire pipeline to inorder check the condition of the coating and classify the health of the coating, identify sections with high decibel loss which could be due to coating faults or shorted casings (Inside Plant: 2.5 Km, Outside plant: 1 Km) Note : Will be done at interval of 50 mt & at depth of 1m
Direct current Voltage gradient (DCVG) at locations identified by CIPL survey inorder to locate holidays, size the holidays and determine whether the holidays are anodic or cathodic (Inside Plant: 0.49 Km, Outside plant: 0.51 Km) Conducting Direct Current Voltage Gradient Survey over the buried line inorder to identify / pin point the coating defects in the right of way including the cost of all expert manpower, transportation and camping facilities etc. to their employees, materials, test instruments, equipments, consumables etc., required for the survey as per the standard specifications and approved procedures, identification of areas/locations where coating repair is required along with suggestion for remedial measures etc. including the submission of draft reports in 2 sets and incorporation of owner's comments in the draft report and final reports in 6 sets including one soft copy containing the survey results in the graphical as well as tabular forms computerised colour print and complete in all respects as per directions of Site Engineer /Engineer-in-Charge. Monitoring & Handover
CP monitoring system including measuring, recording and submitting the cathodic protection readings along the entire pipeline by repeated adjustments of the settings of the CP TRU/PSM units etc as per specifications for achieving full/maximum protection of all the stretches as per the criteria of protection mentioned in the specifications. Measuring the relevant readings at the cathodic protection stations and "pipe to soil potential" readings at all the test lead locations along the pipeline including the CP station parameters like current(AC/DC), voltage(AC/DC), circuit resistance, battery voltage/current etc., preparing and submitting pipe to soil potential profile, graphs and other data pertaining to the cathodic protection of the pipeline, job complete in all respects as perspeclfication and instructions of Site Engineer/Engineer-in-Charge, including cost of all labour, instruments and services rendered (Inside Plant: 0.74 Lumpsum , Outside plant: 0.26 Lumpsum)
Final Commissioning of the impressed current cathodic protection system for the mainline for achieving full protection as per protection criteria as mentioned in the specifications through repeated adjustments of the CP units after installation of galvanic anodes for hot spot protection and mitigation of AC/ DC interference, if any and submission of the resultant data to the owner and testing, measuring, recording and submitting all these data once again as per specifications / directions of the Site engineer /Engineer-in-Charge, including the cost of all labour tools and materials as required, complete in all respect (Inside Plant: 0.74 Lumpsum , Outside plant: 0.26 Lumpsum)

Junction Box- (weatherproof, IP-55) along with adequate spare terminals . Note : To be used if the existing CJB cum REJB is not in usable condition or have adequate terminals.
