| 1 Servicing of Quench Equipment 1.1 Disconnect the QT drive shaft. Remove the QT frame support beams by providing support to frame. Remove the QT frame and shift to nominated place. Disassemble the frame lifting cylinder duly tagging and covering hydraulic pipe end openings. Remove the Quench Elevator Trolley and shift to nominated place. Qty- 1 set 1.2 Drain the quenchant from quench tank to mother tank. Clean the accumulated scales, axles& debris from tank & also clean 1 mtr sq collection pit by removing the mesh provided on it. Collect all the accumulated scales, axles & debris into a bin & shift to a nominated place Qty- 1 set 1.3 Shift ( 25, 20, 12 & 10 mm) MS plate, 150 x 150 I beam, C channel (300 X 90, 200X75, 100X 50) and rails from store area. Remove the four pulley assembly and support structure for quench elevator and using new pulley and C channel fabricate new pulley assembly. Remove Axle transfer support structure from NF discharge to ICB. Clean the entire area for debris/released items. Qty - 4 nos 1.4 Fabricate a temporary Gravity conveyor structure for NF discharge to ICB by providing sufficient support for trouble free movement of discharged axles from NF. Remove the guide rail and conveyor support structure from Quench tank and shift to nominated place. Provide metallic plate guard with support structure above the existing Quench tank for accessibility of repair works to quench tank while NF is at operation also. Disconnect all the pipelines from Quench tank. Qty- 1 set 1.5 Gas cut and removes existing side, bottom and top wall metal plates of Quench Tank (200 square meters) and shift to nominated place. Inspection of support frame of Quench tank by RWF and if required strengthen the same by replacing the damaged portion of channels. Qty - 1 set 2 Fabrication work 2.1 Fabrication of new Quench Tank by welding of 10 mm MS plates to the structure duly incorporating existing opening for pipelines and valves. At the bottom of tank two collection tanks of 8X0.5X 0.5 cubic meter size with inclined cover to collect scales to be fabricated. Paint the entire tank including inner, outer and support structure with suitable antirust primer and paint. Install four guide structure using rails and C channels. Install support structure for conveyor. Qty -1 Set 2.2 Remove temporary Gravity conveyor, metallic plate guard with support structure above the existing Quench tank and its structure.
