REPAIR AND MAINT OF ROAD, ROAD CARPETING, ROAD FIXTURES, FURNITURES, ROAD MARKINF PAINT AND PAVEMENT ALONG ROAD OF MD ACCN, OTM, ADM AREA AND CERTAIN OTHER ROADS IN AOR OF AGE B/R I UNDER GE NARANGI

M&L for repair to potholes any depth n exc 1 sqm each including swweping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metals, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and applying evenly a priming / tack coat cationic bituminous primer emulsion RS- 1 conforming to IS- 8887 @ of 0.7- 1 kg/ sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Screening road metal, chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring (Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L except materials for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing of un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and cleaning complete surfaces by applying mechnical air blower upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and applying a prime coat of Catonic bitumen emulsion RS1 conforming to IS 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/Sqm on surface of WBM as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for Road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

"Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, grass roots etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying a prime / tack coat of Catonic bitumen emulsion RS1 conforming to IS 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20-0.30 kg/Sqm on new or old top surfaces as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for Road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed. "

Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined Mix Design procedure and approved by GE. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹67 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. (ii) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper.

M & L for bituminous premixed carpet, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.2 kg of binder (using paving bitumen VG30 grade), rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform surface complete all as specified and directed.
