Comprehensive maintenance/ repair for RO Plant of capacity 5000 Ltrs per hour - 02 Nos as under : (i) Contractor has to provide one service each month by qualified technician (ii) Any complaint shall be attended within 24 Hrs. (iii) Periodical maintenance of cleaning the membrane/ cartridge/ filters with citric acid, washing with high pressure water pump, servicing of chemical dozing systems, calibration of level indicator, valves, greasing of raw water pump, high pressure feed pump, decarburizing of control panel/ LT Panel etc. (iv) Replacement of other major spares as per existing size and capacity shall be measured and paid separately. (v) During dismantling and reassembling, testing of the equipment safety measures shoud be followed and safety equipments like mask, gloves etc shall be provided by contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates Note: Rate of labour cost for dismantling the spares and assembling the new parts/ system is deemed to be included in the quoted rated of comprehensive maintenance. Note:Spare parts shall be measured and paid as under as “Supply only”

Supply the following under mentioned spares/ parts in repair for RO Plant 5000 LPH

(i) Cartridge jumbo filter 20"(Micro filter) 5 micron

(ii) 80/40 membrane 2 core line as existing size/ capacity

(iii) PVC rotameter

(iv) Multiport valve

(v) Anti scaling chemical

Repair to ACF by opening the chamber, remove all the materials like activated carbon, media upto bottom of the chamber, cleaning the inner walls by using suiatble cleaning agent, remove the fine deposits, cutting the supporting base by welding, fabricate the supporting base as per existing size and shape, fix to the chamber as before by welding, preparing the surface, painting with two coats enamel paint over one coat of red oxide, replacing the gasket of the opening way, filling the ACFwith media pebbles upto the top by laying in layers as before, close the opening and testing should be carried out upto satisfatcion of Engr-in-Charge. Note: Replacement of ACF 600 and various size of media shall be measured and paid separately

(i) Activated Carbon 600

(ii) Media 1 to5 mm

(iii) Media 5 to10mm

(iv) Media 10 to25mm

M&L for washing existing media of size 5 to 10 removed from ACF with suitable acid and water upto satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

Chemical analysis test of filtered water from Govt. agency/recognized / authorized testing laboratory as and when recommended by the Engineer - in- charge.

Supply calcium based high strength granular chlorination chemical a white off white free flowing granular material which is free of foreign materials decompising at 177 degree C soluble in water and alcohol not hygroscopic practically clear in water solution auration level. The material should not contain more than 5% to 10% moisture. Granular should be as mesh passing through 100BS 1.5% maximum iron as Fe 0.05% maximum Mn 40 PPM maximum Mol wt 142.98, Toxicity: Oral rate LD 50-850mg/Kg. Make : Approved by AHQ E-in-c's Branch New Delhi/Zonal Chief Engineer

M&L for taking out of Elect Motor 40 HP Capacity installed as motor from foundation after disconnecting electrical connections, dismantling motor and rewinding the same with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge including varnishing, baking, cotton tape and greasing of bearings, bushes and other connected parts, reassembling and fixing the same in its original position including replacement of unserviceable nut-bolts, washer, lugs, terminal plate and making proper electrical connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : - (i) Bearing if required for replacement shall be paid seprately (ii) Transportation of motor is included in the unit rate of items nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Material and labour for repairing/servicing of motor of any capacity from foundation, dismantling the motor and replacement of unserviceable bearing if required, reassembling the motor and fixed in its original position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - (i) Bearing shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” (ii) New Nuts, bolts and washers if required for refixing the motor shall be provided by the contractor, nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply only Ball Bearing of suitable size for rotor of motor 40 HP installed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note :(i) CI impeller, Bush & ball bearing required to replace shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ as “Supply only”. (ii) The cost of transportation is included in the unit rate of this item nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve pit, in repair, of internal size 90cm x 90cm x 90cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6 mm, MS sheet cover of 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note :- (i) Brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds.
