Supply, install, testing and commissioning of outdoor type factory assembled diesel driven generating set with silent (acoustic) enclosure with fully wired alternator AC for ambient conditions at Mamun (at site) for 40KVA continuous rating at 415 volts adjustable at ± 2.5% AC 3 phase, 0.8 power factor, 4 wire, 50 Hz ± 1 %, 1500 rpm directly coupled with suiitable capacity diesel engine liquid coolent based mounted on common base frame placed on & including PCC platform with floor mounted Fuel Tank of adequate capacity with fuel lines, anti vibration pads, standard control & AMF panels and other accessories etc complete all as specified & directed consisting of following;- (A) Prime Mover (Diesel Engine) : Adequate capacity diesel engine of standard design consisting of direct injection type, four stroke, liquid cooled technology conforming to BS 5514 and IS 10000 suitable for prime duty generating set of 56 BHP @ 1500 RPM with multi cylinders to drive independently alternator and considering derating as per site condition after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through coupling having overload capacity of 10% for one hour in every 12 Hrs continuous running mounted on base frame with following sailent features and standard accessories for safe handling & operation of engine as under:- (a) The gen set should have capacity to run continously in variable load condition for unlimited hours and should also have a 110% load capacity of 01 hour in every 12 hours of operation. (b) Air System - Inlet & Exhaust comprising (i) Dry-type paper element air Cleaner (ii) Restriction Indicator / Vacuum Indicator (iii) Intake Manifold (iv) Exhaust Manifold (v) Silencer muffler and (vi) Stainless steel Exhaust Flexible coupling (c) Cooling System comprising (i) Radiator to suit ambient conditions (ii) Cooling system piping (iii) Thermostat (iv) Pressure cap (v) Coolant Inhibitor and (vi) Engine Driven Fan. (d) Fuel System comprising (i) Fuel pump -Low pressure type (ii) Injectors (iii) Cartridge paper filters primary and secondary for Fuel. (e) Governor :- Mechanical Governor for A1 governing of engine speed from No load to full load. (f) Lub Oil System :- (i) Plate Type lub oil cooler (ii) filters-lubrication oil (g) Fuel Tank :- Draw out type integral fuel tank made of MS sheet (duly painted) of capacity min 100 ltrs or as recommended by manufacturer with level indicator in ltrs, provided with drain plug and air vent / breather and inlet and outlet connection (h) Electric Starting system comprising (i) Electrical starter - 12 Volts (ii) Engine driven battery charging alternator (iii) Cut Out and (iv) One No of 12 volts of 120 AH maintenance free battery with suitable connection terminals and leads for proper battery connection

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx600mm thickness not less than 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth GI strip 25x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron/steel all as shown in electric plate No 3 connected to earth test point/MCB DBs all as specified and indicated compete with funnel, charcoal, dust, salt etc and GI protection pipe, medium grade 40mm bore and GI watering pipe 20mm bore light grade, 40mm thick precast RCC M-15 (nomial mix) cover reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm with suitable handle of 6mm dia MS bar and angle iron 40x40x4mm frame for cover, PCC M-15 (Nominal mix) pit, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and connected including test point, complete, all as specified & directed. Notes: 1. Earth lead & protection pipes length upto & including 7.50 metre is deemed included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. 2. Earth filling shall be done by vegitable soil. 3. Soil should be free from stone, boulders, aggregate, gravels etc.
