Providing and laying GI pipeline from Gate No. 3 Road Junction to Directors Lodge, East Campus and HDPE Pipeline (STP line Extension) from Vindhayachal Hostel to Satpura Hostel, west Campus at IIT Delhi.

Amount

1)EARTH WORK

1.1) Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

2) ROAD WORK

2.1) Cutting road and making good the same including supply of extra quantities of materials i.e. aggregate, moorum screening, red bajri and labour required.

2.2) Taking out existing kerb stones of all types from footpath/ central verge, including removal of mortar etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

2.3) Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

2.4) Laying old cement cocrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer in-charge. (Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the department free of cost)

2.5) Laying at or near ground level old kerb stones of all types in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Old kerb stones shall be supplied by the department free of cost)

3) WATER SUPPLY

3.1) Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I. fittings including trenching and refilling etc.(External Work)

3.1.1.) 25 mm dia nominal bore

3.1.2) 32 mm dia nominal bore

3.1.3) 50 mm dia nominal bore

3.2) Making connection of G.I. distribution branch with G.I. main of following sizes by providing and fixing tee, including cutting and threading the pipe etc. complete :

3.3) Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) :

3.3.1) 50 mm nominal bore

3.4) Constructing masonry Chamber 30x30x50 cm inside, in brick work in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) for stop cock, with C. I. surface box 100x100 x75 mm (inside) with hinged cover fixed in cement concrete slab 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), i/c necessary excavation, foundation concrete 1:5:10 ( 1 cement : 5 fine sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size ) and inside plastering with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) 12mm thick, finished with a floating coat of neat cement complete as per standard design

3.4.1) With common burnt clay F.P.S.(non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5

3.5) Painting G.I. pipes and fittings with two coats of anti-corrosive bitumastic paint of approved quality :

3.5.1) 25 mm diameter pipe

3.6) Providing and filling sand of grading zone V or coarser grade, allround the G.I. pipes in external work :

3.6.1) 50 mm diameter pipe

3.7) Providing and fixing G.I. Union in G.I. pipe including cutting and threading the pipe and making long screws etc. complete (New work) :

3.7.1) 25 mm nominal bore

3.7.2) 32 mm nominal bore

3.7.3) 50 mm nominal bore

4) Providing the HDPE pipes as per IS code: 4984 of 1995 along with necessary bends, Tees and Reducer etc. wherever required including jointing of the pipes with testing etc. complete as pere site requirement (a)HDPE pipe Dia 63mm of PN 6, PE80

4.1) installation of HDPE product pipe by HDD method, including preparing and setting up the plant and equipment, making string of new pipe-work material, installing new pipe string and making the system ready for commissioning by HDD operation except sewer line and pipe pressure mains installation. Including all related civil and mechanical works like excavation, shoring/strutting etc., drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new pipe-work on the designed bore path, alignment, proper disposal of drilling fluid and backfill after completion — all inclusive as per IndSIT:101-2007: Code of Practice for Horizontal Directional Drilling Technique suiting Indian Conditions.

4.1.1) HDPE Pipes between 100mm to outer Dia

5) Making hole under the road for HDPE pipe and GI Pipes by using boki machine or similar boring equipment, including setting up the equipment, boring/horizontal drilling of required diameter and length as specified, safely passing beneath the existing road without disturbing the surface, proper alignment, and decommissioning of the equipment after completion. The rate shall include all labour, tools, machinery, transportation, and safety measures as per site requirements and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

5.1) HDPE and GI Pipes etc. exceeding 50 mm dia. but not exceeding 150 mm dia
