Cutting in earth work and disposal of excavated earth in all kind of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work in soft/ hard rock or chiseling wedging, out soft/ hard rock where blasting is probhibited i/c all leads and lifts complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(Pick & Jumper) 50% Pic Work and 50% Jumper Work).
Excavation in foundation and trenches (For pipes and pits) up to all depths and in all classification of each work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting soft or hard rock or chiselling or wedging out of soft/ hard rock, where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material/ soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in 15cm layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/ lifts including restoration of unmetalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Pick & Jumper work. (50% Pick Work and 50% Jumper Work).
Excavation in drains and channesl etc. in earth work including dressing of sides and beds and disposing of excavated earth upto 20 mtr and lift up 1.5 mtr disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (For Feeder Channel as Katcha Khul)
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6(1cement:3 sand:6 graded stone agg.40mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement :4 sand :8 graded stone agg.40mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Walls (any thickness but not exceeding 0.1 metre thickness) including attached pilasters, butresses, plinth and string concrete etc. from top of foundation level upto floor two level with in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing form work with steel plates of 3.15 mm thick welded with angle iron in frames 30x30x5 mm so as to give a fair finish including centring ,shuttering, strutting & propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies, height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 meters and removal of the same for-in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in:-
Flat surfaces such as soffits of suspended floors, roofs, landings and the like, floors etc upto 200 mm in thickness with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Steel work welded in built up sections trusses and framed work including cutting ,hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint:- In grating, framed, guards, bar ladders, railing, brackets & similar work within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying jointing and testing of Galvanised mild steel tubes ( GI pipe) of following diameter confirming to IS:1239-1990( latest with up to date ammendments) wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube, provinding and welding of MS flanges detailed as below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in two layers (two inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube during welding or otherwise shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & directin of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. Providing Butt welding, laying and testing to levelled grades, IS marked MSERW Pipes beveled ended of following dia mtr. / specifications confirming ISO:3183 ( with upto date amendments ) of steel grades L-290,X-42, jointing the pipes with butt welding at both end according to relevant BIS standards / approved specifications including manufacturing reducers/ tapers all short pieces , and bends as per site requirements and made from parent tubes ( to be measured and paid along with pipes ). Bends shall be manufactured in such a way that not more than 11-1/4 degree deflection is caused by a single cut and internal dia is not reduced including hydraulic testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in -charge.
