REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF CHEMICAL AND CONVENTIONAL EARTHING AND CONNECTED WORK AND REPAIR/MAINT INCLUDING CLEANING OF DUCTING NETWORK FOR AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM ITS CONTROL WIRING AND REPLACEMENT OF FILTERS/PVC FILLS AND CONNECTED ITEMS OF VARIOUS AC PLANTS

M&L for dismantling the strip from earth pit and testing of earth pit to be done as per fall of potential method mentioned in IS-3043 with digital earth resistance tester to check the healthiness of earthing system in and including replacement earth pit nut bolts with brass nut bolts as per required size and record should be kept on ledger duly signed by user representative, JE concerned and contractor and the same shall be submitted to Engr in charge for counter signature, complete all as specified and directed. Note (i): Testing of earth pit shall be done as and when required basis or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time. (ii) Testing of each earthing shall be carried out at the interval of 1 months and measurement shall be done each time separately and test result shall be maintained in register properly duly signed with date by MES representative and contractor. (iii) Pouring of water in each earth pit is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iv) Necessary arrangement to be made by the contractor for pouring the water in earth pits. Vehicle reqd for carrying/storage of water (upto to the site) with helper shall be arranged by contractor and deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (v) Cost of Maintenance of carrying vehicle (if any) and cost of fuel reqd for veh is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Labour for physical inspection for earthing and to check the healthiness of earthing system whether the resistance under safe limits of resistance, IF higher than the permissible then recharging of earthing should be done immediately with carbon based low resistivity compound of 0.001 ohm meter recharging of existing earth pit by excavating soil up to electrode depth approx 10 feet by manual drilling (post hole) method and filling with backfill compound / maintenance free earthing compound to achieve desired resistance value less than 1 ohms in and including water up to top of the excavated bore, backfilling of earth pit, measuring the value after refilling pit and testing of earthing after recharging, reconnecting grounding electrode conductor and earth grid applying petroleum jelly etc. to bolted joints to minimise corrosion for the pipe earthing or plate earthing then gel should be used to lower down the resistance, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) In case of satisfactory results not achieved or results degrade during one year of recharging of the earthing, the same shall be made good/recharged again in order to have required test results within contract/Defect liability period without any extra cost to the department. (ii) Necessary compound required for recharging shall be measured and paid separately under item No 3 here-in-after.

Supply only carbon based low resistivity backfill compound 0.001 ohm meter,, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for testing and earthing for machinery/equipment insulated at power house/sub stn/DB complete with steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to existing earth lead strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of brass or HS steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 connected to earthing test point and and necessary excavation and earth work PCC (1:2:6) type C-1 with suitable size of CI cover plate with angle iron frame and opening arrangement ) incl providing charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm compacted thickness all around the earth electrode with funnel and 20mm bore galvanized iron watering pipe (light grade) wire mesh, copper lugs, complete in all respect,including galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm, 40mm bore (medium grade) galvanized iron pipe up to earthing test point as directed, incl disposal of spoil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and necessary testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 04 here-in-above but using galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 04 here-in-above but using copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode and 20×3mm copper strip, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation of maintenance free earthing system comprises of molecularly bonded copper of 99.9% purity on low carbon steel of 3m length, having a diameter of 25mm with copper coating thickness of 250 microns with fault current withstand capability of 30 KA rms value of 1 second and I peak of 80 KA (OBO article type 25 3000 CCER), tested as per IEC 62561-2, meets the requirement of IS-3043 & IEC 60364-5-54, tested in CPRI for short circuit with standing capacity, OBO article type OEC 25 earth conductivity enhancing mineral compound to be used as a back fill compound for earth electrodes, highly conductive in all weather conditions is used for improving the soil conductivity. The material shall be mineral inert to sub soil and shall not pollute the environment and non corrosive to earth rod. The material should have a resistivity less than 0.2 ohm -m. It should be free from hazardous substances. The mineral compound is required to have minimum 25 kg of the total composite, universal clamp (OBO Article Type 25 25 RTC) made of SS 304 for clamping, polypropylene & polyethylene (OBO type UFE) earth electrod inspection chamber with heavy duty cover should be used to cover the earth rod. The dimension shall be 170mm x 170 mm x 190mm with a weight bearing capacity of 50 KN. including provision and laying galvanised steel flat 30 x 3 mm thick from earth electrode to test joint directly in ground as required (Hot dip GI strip, corrision resistant - cross sectional area of 90 mm square, as per DIN EN 50164-2 (VDE 0185 Part 202) & VDE0185/305, IEC 62305, Zinc coating : 500 g/m square, 70 micron coating, complete all as specified and directed. Make : OBO/ABB/JMV/Ashlok Note : Earth result after installation completely should be less than 1 Ohm.

Supply and fixing in replacement 32x6mm GI strip in short pieces on surface or in recess for all interconnecting, in and including taking out worn out and damaged strip, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 08 here-in-above but copper strip 20 x 3.15mm, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 04 here-in-above but copper strip 32 x 6mm, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 04 here-in-above but galvanised wire 4mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F high density pole ethylene pipes 40mm bore (HDPE) of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 laid in trenches /walls and ceilings by MS iron clamp nuts bolts etc, with all fitting and fixed, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing porcelain vitreous white/brown/green spacers insulator of size 75mmx35mmx40mm height complete with one number galvanized iron stud bolts 6mm dia x 40mm long including nut & washers and two number galvanized iron fixing bolts of size 6mm dia and 50mm long including washers and drilling holes for holding/foxomg aluminium strip/roof conductor as required including taking down the broken insulator, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorusbronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 300 x 300 x 50mm reinforced with 8mm dia TMT steel bars @ 15 cm centre to centre in both direction and 10mm dia MS handle of suitable size including 29mm bore GI light grade pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, necessary earth work in soft/loose soil all as shown in electrical plate No 4 of MES schedule Part I and testing and applying three coats of white wash on exposed surface of concrete complete including taking down old one, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brazing of copper strip including removing of nut, bolt, washer, excavation etc and connecting with equipment directly from earthing, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for cleaning, servicing, overhauling all component of 15000 CFM AHU including dismantling of side panel where as required, with and including cleaning of heating & cooling coil with caustic soda solution, including welding/brazing, wherever required to arrest leakages, cleaning of Pre-Micro filters, replacing of vertical GI sheet supports, replacement of U/S foam insulation of best quality using adhesive substance to avoid cold air leakages,greasing of bearing and re-assembling all the dismantled components and other packing material to its original position as existing etc, with and including testing, commissioning of air handling unit at optimum efficiency, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 17 here-in-above but for 17000 CFM capacity at parachute bay, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for dismantling cooling tower by removing CT Fans sprinklers, PVC fills , cleaning complete cooling tower body, removing scale, dust, dirt and refilling old PVC fills after cleaning with diluted HCL solution, assembling, connecting, cleaning existing external surfaces and applying two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint including and testing etc. for the cooling tower of upto 100 TR capacity at PBL & AC fuel tank, complete all as specified and directed, Note : Extra PVC fills required to complete the job shall only be measured and paid separately as supply only.

All as per item No.24 here-in-above but for 150 TR capacity at Parachute Bay, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.24 here-in-above but for 200 TR capacity at ERS & APU, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only PVC fills as per existing for 100 TR capacity cooling Tower, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only PVC fills as per existing for 150 TR capacity cooling tower, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only PVC fills as per existing for 200 TR capacity cooling tower, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully existing false ceiling of any type/make/size including all electric fitting/fixture, fire alarm and any other accessories etc for repair/replacement of AC duct and refixing the same in its original position with out any damage, complete all as specified and directed. Note : If, any kind of damage occured to false ceiling and other services like elcetric supply cable/fitting/fixture, fire alarm, water supply line or any other services, due to negligance or poor workmenship of contractor, the same will be repaired/replaced by the contractor free of cost and no extra payment shall be made in this effect to the contractor.

M & L for cleaning of air handling ducts (GI/Al) internally by using special equipments & tools like robotic arm, air jet nozzles, flipper vaccum pump and a suction blower with hepa filter, complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Internal surface area of duct to the extent ordered and cleaned by the machinery shall only be measured and paid).

M&L for replacement for ducting supports, bracings, hangers,(as per IS-655) clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat one under coat and one finishing coat of paint, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling old/unserviceable/rusted, supply/return/fresh air GI duct of any size/shape/dia with insulation from walls, roofs, ceiling for replacement complete including ducting supports, rubber gaskets, elbows, vanes, & supports as per (IS 655) etc. from any location at central AC plants, compelte all as specified and directed.

Supply, assembly and erection in repair of GI sheet with C&SS rectangular/square duct made out of 'L' shapped hollow profile, duly factory boxed, including all accessories such as corner, cleats, carraige bolt, gasket and appropriate sealant on longitudinal joint etc., complete of size 22 gauge, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, assembly and erection in repair of GI sheet with C&SS rectangular/square duct made out of 'L' shapped hollow profile, duly factory boxed, including all accessories such as corner, cleats, carraige bolt, gasket and appropriate sealant on longitudinal joint etc., complete of size 20 gauge, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair duct/wall mounted fire dampers 20 gauge G.I sheet with fusible plug and all accessories, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair superior quality canvas cloth along with Zip and GI frame suitable to connect both AHU and duct including taking down of old material, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for duct insulation with 50mm thick resin bonded fibre glass wool roll of density 24 kg/Cum, with factory laminated aluminium vapour barrier, thickness of insulation as specified and including the following:- (i) M&L for cleaning the duct surface (to be insulated ) by scrapping carefully with wire brush etc. to make the surface completely free of millscale, dirt, dust, grease and other foreign materials, taking special care so that all duct joints are sealed against any leakage. (ii) M&L for applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound. (iii) M&L for sealing of all longitudinal joints and circular overlaps with and including aluminium foil tape 50mm wide, to make the insulation leakproof. (iv) M & L for securing the insulation with and including mechanically fastened nylon/ steel straps of size 12 mm/50mm at maximum intervals of 1.2 mtr.

S & F in repair gun-metal, globe or gate valves,with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed of size 20mm, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.39 here-in-above but 25mm size, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix float valve assembly suitable for cooling tower of any size as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable for 10 Sqmm 4 core XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor including taking up existing old cables, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.42 here-in-above but 16 Sqmm 4 core, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair of temperature gauge (thermometer) digital type 0-50 degree centigrade, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning, washing from inside and removing dirt, scalling, fungus and any other foreign material from service water tank upto 2000 Ltr capacity for cooling tower, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of angle iron or mild steel work, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel work comprising of angle iron, MS sheet, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structual steel sections including nuts,bolts washers,welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix for rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks capacity 1000 Ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position, complete and taking down old unserviceable PVC tank, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : An amount of Rs.65785.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part - II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
