REPLACEMENT OF OLD IRON WINDOWS WITH UPVC WINDOWS IN PATIENT WARDS OF MILITARY HOSPITAL AT SURATGARH MIL STN

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters(iron window) (without taking off shutters from the frames) of any size and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc, with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, cooler stand 12mm sq guard bar, framework of water tanks and similar works of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-65) etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing factory made uPVC white colour three track three panels sliding window with fly proof SS Wire mesh (Two Nos glazed & one No wire mesh panels) upto 1.50m height made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46x62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3mm ( + – 0.2mm) and single glazing bead/ double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of window above 1.75sqm) comprising of uPVC multi chambered frame, with inbuilt roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ( + – 0.2mm) thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, woold pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight beaing capacity to be 40kg), GI fasteners 100 x 8mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and and neceesary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Rates of Glass/Stainless Steel Mesh deemed included in above rates Note: For uPVCframe and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made.

M&L for 18-20mm thick Granite (Z Black type south) slab of approved shade as in cooking platforms, steps, jambs, pillars, window cills and the like etc, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match with shade of Granite stone including cutting, grinding and polishing (mirror polish i.e full granite polish as per local trade practice) over & including 15mm thick screed bed (bedding layer) in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The exposed edges of granite stone slab shall be made full round & polished to mirror finish and rate quoted shall deemed to include this provision.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including preparation of newly plastred surfaces of wall,by Vaccume based sanding machine, and applying two coats of exterior emulsion acyrlic weather proof antifungal paint over a coat of exterior grade primer by Auto Roller, including necessary scffoldings complte all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including preparation of newly plastred surfaces of wall,by Vaccume based sanding machine, and applying two coats of exterior emulsion acyrlic weather proof antifungal paint over a coat of exterior grade primer by Auto Roller, including necessary scffoldings complte all as specified and as directed.

S&F 5.0mm thick sheet glass ordianary quality glazing with neoprene/ EPDM rubber gasket in squares, of any size/ area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of newly decorated, plastered or pointed surfaces of wall by brooming down or steel wire brushing,scrapping down smoke soot moulds, moss and efflorescent, salts and treating oil & greasy spots, washing, rubbing down and stopping of distempered surface, filling of cracks etc and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a 1 to 2 mm thick wall care putty over a coat of pirmer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for applying Two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F as in repair Stainless steel wire cloth. 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm & fixed with stainless steel wire staple staples.all complete as per requirement as direction of Engr-in-charge.
