STRENGTHENING TO THE BUND PROTECTING AMBOI KHAZAN BELONGING TO AMBOI KHAZAN TENANT ASSOCIATION AT ST.MATIAS,MALAR DIWAR IN TISWADI TALUKA

Clearing jungle including up rooting of rank vegetation grass bush wood trees and sapling of girth upto 30 cm. measured at a height of 1 m above ground level & removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 mt. outside the periphery of the area cleared. (if however, only grass is met with the area will be measured and paid for under item 4001).

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical/manual means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, sand, clay , gravel, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/shattered, decomposed rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convinient or permitted, inclusive of chiselling, wedging etc. but blasting prohibited in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including pumping or bailing out water, including setting out construction of shoring and strutting, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides of bottom, providing barricading, danger lighting, guarding etc. backfilling the excavated earth to the extent required and disposal of excavated stuff in specified areas with all leads and lifts etc. and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete.

Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for i) Foundations, footings, bases for columns and mass concrete.

Providing & laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a) All works upto plinth level

Laterite boulder masonry in cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand: 6 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) in foundation and plinth as directed by Engineer incharge with all leads and lifts.

Earthwork in Embankment with approved earth (Contractor earth)/ moorum including spreading the earth in layers not exceeding 250mm. in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with half ton roller or wooden or steel hammer including filling up ground depression, dressing etc. complete with all lead and lift and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Driving Nilgiri wood or equivalent piles of length upto 6.00 m. as specified and 0.13 m. mean diameter spacing at 0.50 m. c/c under water including cutting the driving edge to the required shape, erecting in position, fastening driving with wooden mallet or steel hammer including strutting etc. As per specification with all leads etc Complete.

Providing and fixing bamboos of length 6.00 m. or as specified and 4 cms. mean diameter spacing at 0.20 m. c/c or as directed for groynes, cofferdam and closure of breaches including cutting into pieces, longitudinally holding in position, fastening with coir string, nailing as per specifications with all lead and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge etc. complete.

Supplying jamba wooden bally piles 150 mm mean diameter cut to length required (not exceeding 9 meters) and planted in position ready for driving: (a) Upto 2.50 meters long pile.

Driving down wooden piles of 150mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile driving complete at site (portion in ground only to be measured) (a) Upto 2.50 meters long pile.
