Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m in width and 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material / soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay fine sieved excavated dry soil cushioning spreading levelling for cable trenches complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.)

Supply and laying well burnt bricks sub class 'B' in trenches for cable protection of U/G cable complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing PVC/XLPE, 1100 volts grade, LT UG electric cable of size 25 sqmm x 3.5 core from trenches/ walls (or) passing through pipes/in floor removing the unserviceable fault cable and carefully stacking the serviceable cable for reusing all as specified and directed by the Engr-in- charge Note:- Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items

Material and labour for finding out the cable fault of any size of cable upto LT underground cable and of any capacity of cable with the help of cable fault loacator mounting on vehicle and with necessary disconnection of cable from two ends and making connection by joining after repairs and having the following items with electrician at site to find fault of up to length of 10 KM cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge with help of the following accessories- (a) Surge Generator with accessories (b) Head Phone (c) Pin Point Set T-505 with accessories (d) Earthing cable with clamp (e) Cable fault Locator T-905 with accessories (f) TC-808 with accessories (g) Soldering Iron/wire/capacitor unit/capacitor connecting cables/ power cable/nose plier. Notes: Excavation for the cable fault shall be done by the contractor by his own arrangement.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earth strip of size 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No-5 of SSR Part I connected to machinery/equipments installed power house/sub station all as specified including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The unit rate shall also include for excavation earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pit RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia CTD bars @ 150mm C/C both ways funnel with 15mm bore GI watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI protection pipe wire mesh and copper lugs complete in addition to item No 1(a) to (e) of preamble ( Notes) Under sub heading earthing specified on SI page NO-451 of SSR Part-II 2020.
