Pedestal.
31.33 Supply and erection of Godrej Almirah type M.S. pedestal made of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm angle iron frame with 3.00 mm thick M.S. sheet covering including shutters with suitable hinges and locking arrangement with Godrej type handle including round bars. The top covering should have downward overhang of 75 mm on all sides of pedestal, having two sets of water proof ventilation holes of suitable size on the sides, at top and bottom, each set containing four Nos. holes to discharge the heat produced by the current. The shutters fixed with rubber gasket of superior quality and of suitable size to make it water proof. The pedestal duly painted both inside and outside with two coats of approved paint and primary coat and its legs are embeded upto the entire depth in 1:2:4 cement concrete block , projected 75 mm all around the pedestal and 200 mm above the ground level including the cost of all labour and material required to complete the job in all respect upto the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge of the work:-

31.68 Supply and Erection of Hot Dip Galvanized octagonal pole of 3mm thickness with base plate including cost of nut and bolts and all accessories as supplied by the manufacture including cost of foundation accessories etc. The foundation bolts as per manufacturer design should be hot dipped galvanized pole complete with door locking arrangement. Terminal plate consisting of 2 Nos. 100 A, 4 pole natural links including connection etc. with suitable connecting arrangement for 2 No. MCBs/ Kit Kat including cost of R.C.C 1:1 5:3 for foundation of size 0.7M x 0.7 M x 1.8 M with minimum 8 Nos. 12 mm dia longitudinal MS reinforcement rods with rings of 8mm dia not more than 200mm C.C for fixing the pole with all labour & material required to complete the job in all respect upto the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge of the work.

N.S - 1 S/E/T/C of fixed head frame Stadium Mast with ladder of 30mtr Height as per specification of Make: Surya / Philips / Bajaj/Volment/Skipper / Vipin S. T. Poles 5.0.1 Structure The high mast structure shall be of continuously tapered polygonal cross section [at least 20 sided]. The Mast structure should be pleasant in appearance & designed for suitable wind loads as per IS 875. Mast will be designed to have a structural Life of 25 years. 5.0.2 Construction The mast sections shall be manufactured from M.S. sheets conforming to BSEN 10025, IS 5986, Gr. Fe 510 or equivalent, cut and folded to form a continuously tapered polygonal section having maximum two longitudinal welds. The welding shall comply IS 9595. Masts shall be delivered in three sections of approximately 10 m which shall be assembled at site by slip-stress-fit method. The minimum overlap distance shall be 1.5 times the diameter at penetration. There will be no circumferential welding in any section. No site welding or bolted joints in the mast sections will be allowed. The Base plate without any laminations shall be welded to the bottom section of the mast. The welded joints will be fully penetrated and developed to the strengths of the respective sections. The Base plate shall be provided with supplementary gussets between the bolt holes to ensure elimination of helical stress development. Mast base section will have a lockable door of size 1200mm X 300mm approximately or higher as required for easy access to winch and power tool operations. Bottom of door shall be 500mm to 800 mm above the bottom of the base plate. All sections shall be hot dip galvanized as per IS: 4759.
The galvanization shall be done by single dip method for uniform thickness and better aesthetic appearance. The Mast will be fixed type and like those installed in stadiums. The mast shaft will be in 3 sections. Overall assembled shaft length will be approximately 28 m and the head frame will be 4 m approximately. Mast will have a bottom OAF of 830 mm and top OAF of 400 mm. Mast bottom section will be 10m longth and 8 mm thick, Middle section will be 10 m long and 6 mm thick, Top section will be 10.35 m long and 5 mm thick. Base plate will have an outer diameter of 1090 mm and will be 50 mm thick. Base plate will be have 16 nos. holes for M39 x1200mm long foundation bolts. There will be a top flange in the top section of the mast for fixing the head-frame shaft. There will be a platform at 28 m height . The access to the platform from ground will be through a ladder which will have a safety cage. 2.0.3. Dynamic Loading The Mast sections should be designed based on basic wind speed data as mentioned at 10m level as per IS 875, Part-III, 1987. The structural design of the mast shall comply with B ILE TR 7 guidelines. The design life shall be a minimum of 25 years. The foundation design shall be made by taking into considerations the following : 1. Soil conditions 2. Loading on the mast as per ILE TR 7 and wind speed as per IS 875 and 3. Static load of the total mast structure. 2.0.5. Accessories HEAD FRAME: M.S. fabricated hot dip galvanized housing using IS2062 grade steel the head-frame shall be a fabricated 20 sided shaft of OAF 400 mm and 4 mm thick, it will be 4 m long
There will be a base flange at bottom to fix the head frame on to the masts shaft. Suitable cross arms should be provided for mounting of luminaires. There should be ladders from platform to access the individual luminaires. Head-frame is suitable for mounting upto a maximum of 24 luminaires. However bidder shall install 22 luminaires as per this NIT requirement. ELECTRICAL Distribution: There will be 2 cables (as per IS 694) of 5c x 4 sq mm taken to the head frame and each cable will be capable of feeding 12 luminaires. There will be total 4 junction boxes on top, 2 junction boxed for each trailing cable. So there will be 2 junction boxes looped from one cable. Thus the system can operate in 2 modes, 50% light ON and 100% Lights ON. The electric cable shall be as per IS 694 or IS 9968 and should be of size 5 core X 4.0 sq.mm JUNCTION BOX Cast Aluminium Junction boxes shall be provided at mast top having minimum IP54 rating. Since High Mast is fixed type there will be no raising and lowering arrangement and for maintenance a person has to climb to the mast top using the ladders provided in the mast. AVIATION OBSTRUCTION LIGHT 1 No. LED based aviation obstruction light Low Intensity of shall be provided on the head Frame. Note: - Contractor has to submit lighting design along with GA drawing of mast before execution of work. Note:- The agency will submit the design of mast, lantern including luminaires installation structure, foundation, bolts etc. from manufacturer of the mast before supply of the same with the undertaking from manufacturer that mast is safe for use with 18 nos. LED lights and allied structure / equipment.

The panel should be fixed 300 mm above C.C.Block & legs are embedded in C.C.
