Periodical/preventive maintenance/lubrication greasing of CD unit, Plummer blocks, Hoist drums, Trunion pins,Wall guide plates and Guide track rollers of 16/20 ton capacity Radial gates, Intake gates & HR gates at Ujh Barrage. Periodical/Preventive/Corrective maintenance of gear reduction units of hoist mechanism mounted on hoisting deck on either side of Central Drive (CD) unit after removing old grease, dirt, dust by way of cleaning it all with kerosene oil/Diesel using emery paper, dhoti cloth etc. and then greasing it with standard quality grease. Job includes draining of old gear oil through drain plug of 21 No. Elecon Worm gearbox and replacing it with the fresh gear oil and topping it up to the gauge. The job also includes lubrication/greasing to Plummer block bearing type (02 Nos. SMR 513 & 02 Nos. SMR 518) mounted on each of the hoisting mechanism after removing old grease, dirt, dust using Kerosene oil/Diesel and then greasing with standard quality grease. Periodical/Preventive/Corrective maintenance of Plummer blocks (both bearing and bush type) on floating shaft of all 15 no. radial gates after removing old grease, dirt, dust using Kerosene oil/Diesel, dhoti cloth etc. and then greasing with standard quality grease. Job also includes replacing worn-out nuts, bolts, washer etc. with the new ones. Periodical/Preventive/Corrective maintenance of Hoisting drum and Plummer blocks of Head Regulator (H.R) gates 04 No. and Intake gate 01 No., mounted on hoisting deck after removing old grease, dirt, dust by way of cleaning it all with kerosene oil/Diesel using emery paper, dhoti cloth etc. and then greasing it with standard quality grease. Periodical/Preventive/Corrective maintenance of Wall guide plates and Guide track rollers of 16/20 ton capacity Radial gates 21 No. after removing old grease, dirt, dust by way of cleaning it all with kerosene oil/Diesel using emery paper, dhoti cloth etc. and then greasing it with standard quality grease. Job also includes tightening of nuts, bolts etc wherever required. Periodical/Preventive/Corrective maintenance of trunion pins of 16/20 tons capacity Radial gates 21 No. on both left & right side with high pressure grease gun, after removing old grease, dirt, dust by way of cleaning it all with kerosene oil/Diesel using dhoti cloth etc. and then greasing it with standard quality grease. Complete job includes labour charges (skilled, semi-skilled), hire charges for the machinery used like tools and tackles required for the execution of job along with the cost of material, transportation charges including of all kind of taxes as applicable.

Adjustment of rope falls of steel wire rope of U/S Radial gates and S/W Radial gates including applying cardium compound to radial gates at Ujh Barrage. Adjustment of rope falls of steel wire rope of under sluice radial gates (U/S 1, 2) and spillway radial gates (S/W 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) at Ujh Barrage by way of dismantling of rope plates of steel wire after erection of tripod stand. Job includes adjusting rope falls length by giving equal tension to the rope at both ends, re-fitment of rope plates and P/F of nuts, bolts, washers, grease nipples of suitable size for smooth operation of radial gate. Job includes P/F of shims to the base of Plummer block bearing type (SMR-513 & SMR-518) using tools and tackles to align shafts properly which further increases bearing and coupling life. Job includes precise alignment of gear drive unit with motor and other drives of radial gates using wedges, tools and tackles to prevent wear and tear of allied parts for efficient and smooth operation. Providing/Applying cardium compound to the steel wire rope of above mentioned radial gates, by way of removing dirt, dust and rust from the rope with the help of wire brush making scaffolding arrangement and holding the gear Unit and cleaning with K-oil/thinner properly and applying cardium compound to the steel wire rope of all radial gates. Complete job includes labour charges (skilled, semi-skilled), hire charges for the machinery used, tools and tackles required for the execution of job along with the cost of material, transportation charges including of all kind of taxes as applicable.(18 nos job)
