Supplying, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 50KVA/ 40 KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 V , 50 Hz, Silent D.G.set confirm to ISO 8528 specification and should meet CPCB norms complete as detailed below:-

DIESEL ENGINE : - ECO, FRIENDLY 50KVA: MAKE :-Sudhir ,Kirloskar or Equivalent as approoved by the Engineer incharge .

CUMMINS make engine model 4BTAA3.3-G11,4 cylinders, inline, 4 stroke cycle, Water cooled turvo charged after cooled , developing 84- BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514 :1982. The engine shell be provided with electrical starting arrangement & shell give the electrical output of 50 KVA/ 40- KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 volts at the alternator terminal.complete in all respect ro the best satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The Engine shall be mounted on side mounting type base frame fabrication from suitable M.S. channel suitable machined to ensure prefect alignment of the engine and alternator with rigid construction and necessary reinforcement on plinth size(11'x5'x6") with 1:2:4 cement concrete to ensure minimum vibrations. The engine shall comprise of following accessories.

Alternator :-

Stamford make single bearing alternator suitable for continuous operation generating 50 KVA at 1500 RPM, 415 volts, 0.8 power factor(lag) suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase ,4wire system confirming to BS5000/IS 4722. The alternator is brushless type,screen protected, revolving field.self excited,self regulated through an AVR. The alternator confirms to IS/IEC 60034-1 & will be suitable for operation in tropical condition and having the following feature; +_ 1.0 % voltage regulation (max.) in static conditions, IP.23 Protection with insulation class H ,permissible over load of 10 % for one hour in 12 hour of operation.

CONTROL PANEL

ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES:

Fuel tank: Fuel tank of 14 SWG MS sheet of adequate capacity.

Base Frame: Skid mounting type base frame fabricated from suitable MS channel suitable machined to ensure perfect alignment of the engine & alternator with rigid construction & necessary reinforcement to ensure minimum vibration.

Batteries: For electrical control circuit 1 no. 12 volts, 45AH cumins pulse lite battery for starting of DG set.

AVM Pads: Suitable number of AVM pads shall be supplied with Silent DG sets.

SOUND ATTENUATED SYSTEM:

The Sound Attenuated DG sets are designed and engineered by the CAD/ CAM experts conforming to international standards and mandatory noise level norms achieving NOISE LEVEL of 75 db (A) at a distance of 1 meters. In open environment.

The system is made of High class sheet metal fabricated panels of 16G thickness having modular construction with multi-fold sheet channel & ISMC section for ease of assembly and dismantling, and high quality FIREPROOF Acoustic material i.e. PU FOAM compling to IS 8183

An additional axial flow fan may also be provided to achieve optimal output and acoustic hood with noise splitters if required, to block and reduce the sound leakage. Residential silencer is provided for maximum noise reduction and specially designed vibration isolators are used to restrict the transfer of vibration from the DG set to the body panels & its surroundings.

Supplying and fixing 4 pole MCCB 100Amp Ics = 100% icu, 25KA & @ 415 volts, 50 Hz with thermal magnet in release complete with connection ,testing and commissioning etc as required .Make:-L&T Cat. No. (CM91712OOKOOG),Schneider, ABB , or its equivalent as approved by Engineer-in -charge.

Supplying and fixing of 4 pole DU 125H/DU100D/DU125D/DNO MCCB Enclosure complete with connection testing and commissiong etcasrequired .Make:-L&T ( cat no-CM9O9960000), Schneider, ABB , or its equivalent as approved by Engineer-in -charge.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mmx600 mmx 3 mm thick, including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. ( but without charcoal or coke and salt ) complete as required.

Extra for using salt and charcoal for G.I. or copper plate earth electrode complete as required.

Providing and fixing 25mm x 5mm copper strip in 40 mm dia. G.I. pipe from earth electrode etc. as required.

Providing and fixing 25mm x 5mm copper strip on surface or in recess for earth connections etc. as required.

Providing and fixing following rating, four pole, 415 volts, On-Load change over switch unit, AC 23 A duty, in sheet steel enclosure, with side handle operation, including drilling holes on the board, making connections, etc. as required.

Supplying and erection of wall mounted metal boards for switch gear mounting of suitable size, with permissible variation in size of plus minus 5mm, welded frame work made of M.S. angle iron (35 mm x 35 mm x 6 mm thick) with sufficient numbers of horizontal and vertical intermediate members (25mm x 6mm thick) flat iron including painting and bonding to the existing earth as required:-

Providing, laying and fixing of PVC round sheathed 4 core 2.5 sqmm copper conductor flexible cable for voltage grade up to 1100 volt , as required complete in all respect. Make :-Finolex/Havell/Polycab/KEI or it equivalent.

Providing, laying and fixing of one No. aluminium conductor, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, armoured/XLPE power cable, working voltage 1100 volts grade on surface etc. of the required size:-

Armoured cable 70 sq. mm (3.5 core)

The contractor is advised to inspect the campus, acquaint himself with the scope of work and site conditions.
