Repairs to the rear entrance porch roof

Repairs to the rear entrance porch roof - Erection and dismantling of tubular scaffolding required for conservation work including loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, transportation charges, etc complete required for conservation work.

Dismantling the mangalore tiled roof along with beams, rafter, reapers down to the ground and removal of damaged/decayed wooden members carefully including lifting, carrying materials, stacking the useful materials and disposing the waste materials away from the site, etc complete.

Removing and relaying the wooden roof truss of the porch on the northern side of the church by replacing decayed wooden beams, rafters with matti wood of size 8”x6” and 4”x3” (Total 0.985 Cum) of required length including, replacement of entire battens (2”x1”), applying wood preservative, replacing 40% broken mangalore tiles, including necessary nailing etc complete.

Providing and applying wood preservative (anti-termite) of approved brand in two or more coats for the entire wooden members of the roof including cleaning, preparing surface, applying, etc complete.

Repairs to the Sacristy roof - Erection and dismantling of tubular scaffolding required for the conservation work including loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, transportation charges, etc complete.

Removing and relaying the wooden roof truss of the sacristy of the church to a height of more than 15mtrs by replacing decayed matti wooden beams, rafters of size: 10”x8”, 8”x6”, 5”x4” and 4”x3” (total 10.16 Cum) of required length and according to the original sizes, replacement of entire battens (2x1), replacing 40% broken mangalore tiles, etc complete. Providing and fixing Precoated corrugated sheet of size 3mtr x 1mtr x0.5mm thick for entire roof over wooden members including necessary nailing screwing etc. complete.

Providing and applying wood preservative (anti-termite) of approved brand in two or more coats for the entire wooden members of the roof including cleaning, preparing surface, applying, etc complete.

Plastering in lime mortar - Erection, dismantling of tubular scaffolding required for the conservation work including loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, transportation charges, etc complete.

De-plastering the loose/dead plaster of the wall of 30mm thick including raking of masonry joints carefully, disposal of the waste away from the monument, etc complete.

Re-plastering 30mm thick in two coats in lime mortar (1:1:1) (1 lime: 1 sand : 1 surkhi) mix with molasis and gallnut for wall surface including preparation of mortar in roller pan mixer, curing etc complete.

Laterite stone pathway/pavement - Earthwork excavation to a depth of 0.40m to 0.55m including side cutting and bottom leveling for the foundation etc complete.

Providing laterite rubble soling 0.15m thick in foundation with hard laterite stone including watering, ramming and consolidating, etc complete.

Providing and laying lime concrete 0.10m thick in 1:1:1:4 – 1lime: 1river sand: 1surkhi: 4coarse aggregate of 0.20m thick including carrying materials, curing, etc complete.

Providing and laying seasoned/good quality dressed laterite stones for the pavement/pathway by using laterite stones of size: 0.50 x 0.25 x 0.15cm fixed over the lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 sand: 1 surkhi) including lifting, carrying, curing, etc complete.

Pointing the joints of the laterite stone pavement/pathway in lime mortar (1:1:1) (1 lime: 1 sand: 1 surkhi) with matching color including preparing lime mortar, mixing, carrying materials, curing, etc complete.

Providing and laying lime concrete 0.10m thick in 1:1:1:4 (1lime: 1river sand: 1surkhi: 4coarse aggregate) by using 20mm stone aggregate including laying, consolidating, curing etc. complete.

Providing and constructing of laterite stone masonry of size:30 x 23x15 cm in LM 1:1:1 for the drain/Gutter including mixing, lifting, carrying materials, curing, etc complete.

Providing 20mm thick plastering in LM 1:1:1 for the drain/gutter including mixing, carrying materials, curing, etc complete.

Providing and fixing pre-cast RCC drain cover of size: 750 x 400 x 150mm in concrete grade M25 including lifting hook of MS 10mm bars and PVC cups over the drain etc. complete.

Restoration work of old laterite compound wall by dismantling/clearing fallen and existing out of plumb wall behind the Se’ Cathedral including stacking the useful materials for re-use, constructing with the 25% available stones and 75% new stones in lime mortar 1:1:1:4 – 1lime: 1surkhi: 1river sand :4 aggregate including carrying materials, pointing, providing stone coping, etc complete. - Dismantling out of plumb laterite stone wall and stacking the useful materials for re-use including disposal of debris to a lead more than 4kms, etc complete.

Earthwork in excavation in hard soil upto width of 1.00mtr and 0.90m depth including dressing of sides, ramming of bottom and getting out the excavated soil and disposal of the same away from the site, etc complete.

Providing laterite rubble soling of 0.15m thick including carrying materials, ramming, consolidating, watering, etc complete.

Providing and laying concrete bed of 0.15m thick in 1:1:1:4 – 1lime: 1surkhi: 1river sand :4 aggregate of 0.20m thick including carrying materials, curing, etc complete.

Restoration work of old compound of boundary wall in seasoned/good quality laterite stone masonry of size: 0.50x0.25x0.15m in lime mortar 1:1:1 – 1lime: 1surkhi: 1river sand including dressing, carrying and lifting materials, curing, etc complete.

Pointing the laterite stone masonry wall in lime mortar 1:1:1 – 1lime:1surkhi:1river sand including carrying materials, curing, etc complete.

Repairs to the windows - Removing the decayed window shutter along with the frame (37 No’s of different sizes) including erection, dismantling of the scaffolding, lifting, carrying, stacking the same, etc complete.

Providing 1st class teak wood 38mm thick window shutters as per original (20 No’s of different sizes) along with matti wood frame of size 4”x3” as per the enclosed drawing with required holdfast embedded in cement concrete 1:2:4 and providing 5mm thick plain glass for window shutters with wooden beading. The shutters fixed with SS 6” hinges, SS handle and 8” SS tower bolts with necessary screws, nails, including cutting, moulding, lifting, carrying, fixing, etc complete. (Fixtures should be as per original requirement)

Providing and fixing Arch shaped window shutters in 1st class teak wood as per original 38mm thick (9 No’s) along with matti wood frame 4”x3” as per the enclosed drawing with necessary holdfast embedded in 1:2:4 and providing 5mm thick plain glass fixed with teak wood beading. The shutters fixed with SS 6” hinges, SS handle and SS 8” tower bolts with necessary screws, nails, including cutting, moulding, lifting, carrying, fixing, etc complete. (Fixtures should be as per original requirement)

Providing and fixing Arch shaped window shutters in 1st class teak wood as per original 38mm thick (15 No’s) along with matti wood frame 4”x3” as per the enclosed drawing with necessary holdfast embedded in 1:2:4 and providing 5mm thick plain glass fixed with teak wood beading. The shutters fixed with SS 6” hinges, SS handle and SS 8” tower bolts with necessary screws, nails, including cutting, moulding, lifting, carrying, fixing, etc complete. (Fixtures should be as per original requirement)

Providing and fixing mesh windows by using matti wood of size (4” x 3”) and shutter of size 3” x 2” with 1” GI mesh of 2.5mm thick fixed to the shutter. The shutters fixed with 6” SS hinges, SS handle and SS 8” tower bolts with necessary screws, nails, including lifting, carrying, etc complete. Mesh LWM x SWM 2.50 cm 95.04 sqm (Fixtures should be as per original requirement)

Providing and applying enamel painting of approved brand to the window shutters in two coats over a coat of primer including all charges, etc complete.

Repairs to the wooden railing and balusters - Erection and dismantling of tubular scaffolding for the including loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, transportation charges, etc complete.

Replacing the decayed/deteriorated wooden hand rail with 1st class teak wood of size: 5”x3”and missing balusters of size:4”x4” in the church with the new ones as per existing design of railing and balusters and fixing the same as per the original with necessary adhesive, lifting, carrying working at a height of 12mtrs, etc complete.

Providing and applying enamel painting of approved brand to the railing in two or more coats over a coat of primer till to get neat finishing including all charges, etc complete.
