M & L for preparation of old surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment of painted walls incl pillar etc. by mechanical equipments like electric wall sander/water jet machine and applying cement based putty of 1 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth and applying two coat of distemper with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete, by mechanical means as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and directed by GE.

M & L for prepration of old decorated existing surfaces including cornices, plastered or unplastered surfaces by brooming down or steel wire brushing moulds, moss efflorescent salt and trading oil and gresy sports and applying one coat of white wash on wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation to old decorated, plastered or unplastered surfaces, by brooming down, scraping down smoke spots, moulds, mossand efflorescent salts etc. and applying one coat of white (lime) wash on ceiling including cornices pilasters etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for washing/rubbing down and stopping of destempered, plastered and painted surfaces of wall including cornices etc and making good of holes by filling holes in plastered surfaces with POP mixed with distemper and applying one coat of oil bound distemper complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation to old painted surfaces of wood or wood based material over 10cm width or girth of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation to old painted surface of steel over 10cm width or girth of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frames of any thickness including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/springs clips complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F sheet glass 3mm thick, figured glass pin headed type & glazing with oil putty in squares n.exc 0.5 sqm in each pane complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment of painted wall/ceiling incl pillar etc. by mechanical equipments like electric wall sander/water jet machine and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion (weather proof) paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over wall surfaces complete, by mechanical means as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and as directed by GE.

Taking down cement plastering at any description on brick or stone wall etc including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removal of debries and depositing where complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:6 on concrete solid block wall surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of new surfaces of walls incl pillar etc. and applying cement based putty of 1 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth and applying two coat of distemper with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete, by mechanical means as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and as directed by GE.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, chajja, fins facia etc in two coats first coat of 10 mm in CM 1:4 & 2nd coat of 5 mm in CM 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing liquid (ISI marked) @ 200ml/bag of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions upto 4 storie height, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Supply only water proofing liquid shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply only integral water proofing liquid complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L perpartion of new surfaces including cornices, plastered and applying two coat of cement base paint over and including a coat of wall primer(Alkali resistant) including filling up of holes by wall care putty wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for perpartion of old existing wall surfaces including cornices, plastered or un-plastered surfaces by brooming down or steel wire brushing, moss efflorescent salt and trading oil and greasy spots and applying one coat of cement base paint including filling up of holes by wall care putty wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTES :- (a) ITEM NO. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 13,16 and 17 :- The work pertaining to periodical services & Water Proofing shall be executed by authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials. i.e. Paint, Distemper, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by GE and 25% of material to be produced initially before commencement of work. (b) Cost of scaffolding upto 4 stories building height shall be included in the quoted rate. (c) For surface preparation, complete removal, scraping and putty surface preparation mechanical sander (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, with sanding pad should be used. (d) For application of Primer, Paint and Putty fully automatic airless spray machine should be used. (e) After preparation of the surface, Engr-in-Charge shall approve the same before applying primer and finishing coats. (f) Building wise stage passing register shall be prepared and maintained by the Contractor and shall be signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor. Each stage shall be passed by Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of subsequent stage. The stage will be as follows (i) Surface preparation (ii) Application of Putty (iii) Application of Primer (iv) Application of Ist coat of Acrylic distemper/emulsion (v) Application of IInd coat of Acrylic distemper/emulsion (g) The equipments to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer. (h) Paint to be centrally deposited with Engineer-in-Charge and store to be double locked with one lock of contractor and second lock of department, Paint will be issue centrally for execution of by MES Auth. (j) At the Execution time door and windows will be proper covered/protect and will be cleaned the walls, glass, window, window/door frame, floor, plinth protection, pavement after execution of work. (k) Contractor shall submit approved company generated 05 years warranty card for BOQ Item Nos. 1, 2, 10 & 13 carried out before submission of respective RARs. (l) Dedicated team of permanent labour should be allot once for all (minimum 08 members). The task should be complete within time, otherwise penality @ 20/per sqm will be deducted per day rate. (m) It will be responsibility of GE & Engineer-in-Charge to ensure that work shall be executed by manufacturer’s authorized applicators as per MOU.
