TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 1. SOLAR PV MODULES AND ARRAY (i) Only indigenous modules shall be used in the Solar module shall be Crystalline (Mono/Poly) (or) Thin Film (or) Concentrator PV modules type. The peak power output of the PV Module shall be min 100Wp under STC. Module Voc shall be minimum 21V. The total array capacity shall not be less than required capacity and this shall be operating at the required DC voltage. The power output of the PV module must be reported under standard test conditions (STC). I_V curve of the sample module should be submitted.(ii) The mechanical structure shall withstand gusts of wind / cyclonic wind up to 150km/hr from back side of the panel.(iii) The offered modules must conform to the latest edition of any of the following IEC/ equivalent BIS Standards for PV module design qualification and type approval:Crystalline Silicon Terrestrial PV Modules : IEC 61215/IS14286 Thin Film Terrestrial PV Module: IEC 61646/ Equivalent IS(Under Dev.)
Concentrator PV Modules & Assemblies: IEC 62108 2.Earthing and Lightning Protection: Earthing: The array structure of the PV yard shall be grounded properly using adequate number of earthing kits. All metal casing or shielding of the power plants shall be thoroughly grounded to ensure safety of the solar power plants.Lightning: The SPV power plants shall be provided with lightning &over voltage protection. The main aim in this protection shall be to reduce the over voltage to a tolerable value before it reaches the PV or other sub system components. The source of over voltage can be lightning, atmosphere disturbances etc 3. Battery arrangement : At the rate of 400AH ( 4nos. 12V 100AH solar tubular Batteries) per KWp.
500 LPD Solar Water Heater (A)HOT WATER STORAGE TANK (500 LPD):The tanks are generally made of Inner tank and outer cladding cover. The inner tank made of SS 304 grade /MS or any other materials with anticorrosive coating. For SS inner tank thickness may be min. 1mm when using argon arc or metal inert gas for welding & 1.6mm when using other type of welding. For M.S. and other material, it will be above 1.5mm. No leakage under any kind of negative or positive pressure of water shall be ensured. Capacity of the tank not less than 500 litters. Minimum 50mm thickness of CFC free PUF having density of 28-32 kg/cu .m. In case of higher density insulations, the thickness may reduce proportionately. Aluminum/FRP or GI powder coated outer cladding may be used. M.S may also be used with special anticorrosive protective coatings ;Thickness of sheets will be strong enough to avoid any deformations of the cladding. Size of the tank OD 405mm and length is 1300mm.
(B)MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF STORAGE TANK:Supply, Installation & commissioning in position of the hot water storage tank will be mounted on fixed metallic structures of adequate strength and appropriate design, which can withstand and high wind velocities up to 150 km per hour. The support structure will be MS powder coated. The "Mounting Structure" should have the following features: i) The support structure shall be mild steel, powder coating (120 micron) iron for holding the storage tank. The size of angle iron should not be less than 35x35x5mm, ii) Each structure shall be so fabricated as to be placed on roof on its legs. It will withstand severe cyclone or storm with the speed of 150Km/Hr iii) All nuts and bolts should be made of very good quality and should be corrosion resistant, iv)The structure should be designed to allow easy replacement of any module (C) EVACUATED TUBE COLLECTOR HEADER 500 LPD-1Nos

(D) MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOREVACUATED TUBE COLLECTE HEADER -1Sets structure should be designed to allow easy replacement of any module. Supply, Installation & commissioning in position of Evacuated Tube Collector will be mounted on fixed metallic structures of adequate strength and appropriate design, which can withstand load of tubes and high wind velocities up to 150 km per hour. The support structure used will be MS powder coated. The "Mounting Structure" should have the following features: i) The support structure shall be mild steel, powder coating (120 micron) iron for holding the Evacuated tube collector. The size of angle iron should not be less than 25x25x5 mm, ii) Each structure shall be so fabricated as to be placed on roof on its legs. It will Withstand severe cyclone or storm with the speed of 150Km/Hr, iii) All nuts and bolts should be made of very good quality and should be corrosion resistant, iv) The Structure should be designed to easy replacement of any module
