| 1.00 | Purpose: Instrument must be able to determine bursting strength of technical textiles (outdoor as well as indoor), heavy plastics and geotextiles as well as nonwovens, paper, boards and other light weight textiles, and distension at burst of all above materials. The instrument should operate on the principle of hydraulic pressure employing a precision hydraulic system. The bursting pressure should be applied to a circular specimen and distends it to its point of rupture. The measurement units should be expressed in kilo pascals (kPa), bar, and psi. The maximum hydraulic pressure should be 6000 kPa, 60 bar or 870 psi.
The instrument control should be through Color LCD Touch Screen Panel Control.
The instrument must have USB interface.
Burst Pressure range: 100 kPa to max. 6000 kPa (870 psi) +/- 1%
Distension range: Max. 70 mm +/- 1% (unit - mm)
Compressor must be supplied with the machine which can provide up to 8 bar pressure.
(with dust filtered < 3 microns and oil content < 1 ppm mass). Filter to be supplied with compressor.
Main instrument should be supplied with LCD Control Panel, integrated safety shield, USB Cable for computer, at least 10 Rubber Diaphragm, USB memory stick for Instruction Manual. The unit should have the option for quick change of bells, diaphragm correction and automatic flow rate adjustment.
Applicable standards must include ISO13938-1, ISO3303-B, GB/T 7742.1, BS3424-6-B, EN12332-2, ASTMD3786, WSP 030.1.R3(12), WSP 030.2.R3(12). All necessary accessories required for test as per ISO13938-1, ISO3303-B and ASTMD3786 must be included with the unit.
Instrument must be supplied with Analysis Software & PC for results to be collected and stored on a PC. Compatible latest computer system (All in One, i5 latest generation with Monitor of 22 inch) with latest Windows preinstalled software with appropriate platform and Scanner Copier printer. 3 KVA online true sinewave UPS must be supplied with the machine.
