Systematic maintenance of railway track in the private railway siding of FCI at FSD BELLARY for all items as included in the technical specification 3.0 to 3.9 of tender document. (Note: Contractor should quote rate per ETKM per month)
Supplying and stacking neatly stone ballast of 50mm for track in private siding along the track in private siding of FCI confirming to par 9.0 to 9.8 of technical specifications.
Spreading of available stone ballast of 50mm in dumping manure neatly over the track etc., complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing bolts including nuts and washers complete.
Fixing of pre-stressed concrete sleepers/ wooden sleepers as per railway standards and specifications to broad guage railway track and Points & Crossings including opening of the track and removal of the damaged sleepers/ steel sleepers and stacking at site as directed. The rate shall include the cost of packing and forming the ballast formation but exclude the cost of PSC sleepers fittings shall be supplied by departmentally.
Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.
Deep screening of the entire existing stone ballast to a depth of 250mm below bottom of PSC sleepers up to the formation level duly following the procedure as given in Para 238(2), e, f of IR PWM para 6.3 of LMR manual / under traffic condition and packing the entire muck away to make up / under cess in screening and re fixing the screened clean ballast back into track including lifting the track to the proposed L section to get a minimum cushion of 250mm below the bottom of PSC sleepers including lifting of track to the required level, aligning, leveling and grading the track to approved longitudinal and traverse profile attending one round of packing as directed by EIC to facilitate allowing train @ 20 KMPH.
