SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR PROVN OF COVERED ACCN (GARAGE FOR SPECIALIST B VEH) AND HARD STANDING AT 21 CGSR (AREN) AT BAIRAGARH, BHOPAL : Obtaining optimum moisture content and maximum dry density, performing CBR test and classification of soil by sieve analysis and determination of coefficient of uniformity and coefficienty of curvature.

SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR PROVN OF COVERED ACCN (GARAGE FOR SPECIALIST B VEH) AND HARD STANDING AT 21 CGSR (AREN) AT BAIRAGARH, BHOPAL : (a) Construction of bore holes of minimum depth of 6m collection of soil properties (SBC) at depth 1.5m, 2.0m, 3.0, 4.5, and 6.0m SBC are required for following size of footing : (aa) 1.5mx1.5m (ab) 1.5mx2.5m (ac) 2.0mx2.5m (ad) 2.0mx3.0m (b) Recommendation as regards possibility of liquefaction of soil in case of saturated or partially saturated loose / uncompacted sandy soils. (c) Swelling index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil and its depth/ layer. (d) Depth of ground water table in peak mansoon (Lowest) and peak summer (Highest) after correction of result with seasonal variation of water table in teh stn. (e) Recommendation for filling under floors. Note: - (01 No corner + 01 No Trial pit (Size 1.2mx1.2m) 5.0m away from BH (centrally placed)
