Maintenance & upkeeping of lawn & garden at Rescue Room & Refresher Training (RRRT) Centre of Pathakhera Area. The work includes: (A) Daily watering of plants & grass; (B) Cleaning/ uprooting of unwanted vegetation such as weeds, minor shrubs, etc.; (C) Trimming & shearing of grass; (D) Trimming/ prawning of plants; (E) Digging of holes and earth cutting; (F) Replacement & planting of plants & grass; (G) Blending/ mixing of earth with sludge/ manure/ fertilizer; (H) Application of manure/ fertilizer; (I) Removal of dead & fallen parts, such as leaves, flowers, etc. and putting them at the designated point(s); and (J) Other allied jobs related to maintenance & upkeeping of lawn & garden. Note: (i) All the above jobs are to be carried out by the contractor as per instructions of the RRRT Incharge or the Area Environment Officer or representative(s) of any of the two. (ii) The contractor is required to deploy 2 garden labourers on daily average basis for this job in general shift. For measurement of this item, attendance certified by the Rescue Incharge or his representative to be produced before the Engineer-in-charge. (iii) The contractor shall provide gum-boots/ safety shoes, gardening gloves upto sleeve length (heavy duty, washable, puncture proof, gardening gloves with claws in right hand), and face masks to the workers. The contractor shall also provide umbrella or raincoat to the workers, depending upon the weather conditions. Basic tools & equipment required for the jobs described above, such as gardening scissors, phawada, tagadi/ghamela, gaiti, kulhadi, kudali, kanni, hexa saw with frame, hasiya, etc. shall also be provided by the contractor. Costs of all these accessories/ safety gear and these basic tools/ equipment to be covered in the rate of this item. (iv) Other tools/ equipment (details, quantities, & costs covered separately in the BoQ) shall also be supplied by the contractor. (v) Plants and consumables (good earth, fertilizers/ manure, etc.) (details, quantities, & costs covered separately in the BoQ) shall also be supplied by the contractor. Water shall be made available by WCL, without any cost to be charged from the contractor.

Item code 2.2 Supplying and stacking of good earth at site including royalty and carriage upto 5 km lead complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment).

Item code 2.4.2 Supplying and stacking at site dump manure from approved source, including carriage upto 5 km lead complete (manure measured in stacks will be reduced by 8% for payment) : Screened through sieve of I.S. designation 16 mm.

Supplying the following tools/ equipment of brand and quality as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, and putting them at designated palces. The entire quantities of all these items to be supplied within the first 2 months of commencement of work:

Electric lawn mower: Single phase 220 volt 2.5 HP (Induction type Copper Winding) Three Phase 2 HP 440 Volts electric motor, Power Source Corded Electric, Cutting Height - 7 ( 30 - 80 mm), Cutting Blade Size 20 inch or more, Material Alloy Steel, Item Weight 25 Kilograms or more, with 70 Liters Grass Collection box, Wheel Diameter - Front: 8" Rear : 11" , Warranty : 02 years, Cable length : 100 meter, Extra : 1 extra blade, grinding attachment, tool kit, 1 cleaning cloth and 1 cleaning brush.
