E-Tender for Dry-Dock repair of AB Chandradinga at Kolkata/Howrah (NW-1) for the year 2026-27

Beaching,blocking, unblocking including dock hire/moring( berthing) charges as required to be done for complete repair of vessel as required as per supervision/direction of IRS/IWT Surveyor and EIC.

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) of the hull bottom shell plating, deck plating, Load Water Line (LWL) side shell plating, and other associated structural members shall be carried out to assess the condition and ascertain the residual thickness of the structure. The thickness gauging shall be conducted by an IRS-approved Thickness Measurement (TM) firm in the presence of and under the supervision/ direction of the IRS Surveyor and EIC. Upon completion of the gauging, a comprehensive thickness measurement report indicating location-wise readings, diminution, and assessment results shall be submitted for review and record.

Cropping & renewal of under water hull plates, deck plate,control room,bath room including 10 in nos. manhole cover packing with nuts, deck railling, angle,frames, bracket etc straightend and if required to be renewed, all air vents,sounding pipe and fitting of wire mesh/caps as per OEM, bollards, ship side plate & other fitments after Ultrasonic testing report of existing plate and as required as per under supervision of IRS/IWT Surveyor and as per direction of EIC.

Entire house boat from bottom plate, under water plate & above water level to deck super structure,toilet, all compartments of vessel including all tanks i.e,ballast and store etc.is to be scrapped,chipped,wire brushed,cleaned and painting to be done by two coats of existing colour standard paint after application of one coat of zinc chromate primer as per supervision/direction of IRS/IWT Surveyor and EIC.

Main entrance door 04 in nos. broken replaced with aluminium-framed doors with acrylic board panels, complete with approved-quality frames, fittings, fixtures, locks, handles, mirrors, and all accessories . M.S plate/pipe of existing thickness and opening & fitting as per supervision/direction of IRS/IWT Surveyor and EIC.

Inspection, dismantling, fault diagnosis, repair/rectification of existing battery charger found non-operational by replacing defective components/spares including checking of AC/DC electrical lines , ligting system in officer cabins,crew cabin, toilets to be replaced with LED lights & checking of engine room,bed light, emergency lights, DC light , navigation light, flood light, outside deck light, Shore connection control pannel box, MCCB,switch and socket, switch board, & 07 in nos. ventilation blower motors to be seviced & electrical panel board in engine room & Kitchen hot plate found nonfuctional same to be made operational and if required same to be renewed to be checked/repaired or replaced (if required) as per supervision/direction of IRS/IWT Surveyor and EIC
