CWE/CHD-03/2026-27 CONSTRUCTION OF HARDSTANDING AT HALLOMAJRA UNDER GE CHANDIGARH

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting using power roller of capacity exceeding 8 Tonne and not exceeding 12 Tonne including watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber, keeping roller wheels wet, if required, filling in hollows and depressions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, well, cesspits, man holes etc. and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in blocks for fixing hold fasts, in coping, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stop and the like including necessary form work and weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Laying and compacting 225 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in three layers of 75 mm thick each, grading as per table 400-13 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for laying and compacting 225 mm thick (compacted thickness) granular subbase (GSB) grading as per Grade-I as specified in Table 400-1 of MoRT&H specification of road and Bridge works 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed slag or combination thereof as per grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Max dry density, consolidating to required gradient and camber, the finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 80 mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-40 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, filling back in trenches, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
