SPECIAL REPAIR TO CERTAIN OVERHEAD TANK

M&L for cleaning the inside surfaces of the tank by dewatering of existing water tank (height of tank n exc 25 mtrs from GL including all the saffoldings), scraping down walls and bottom surfaces using steel wire brushes to remove all deposited / fingus other micro organisms etc. and other foregin materials completely from the tank and disposal of waste out side the MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantlinging down existing unserviceable loose & unsound cement plaster / concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surfaces of RCC slab / beams / columns / fascia etc. to a average depth of 40mm using chisels / power driven pneumatic chisel (incl all the scaffoldings) and disposal of unserviceable materials out side the MoD land including cutting of all edges, making the surface to recieve the following applications: - (i) Abrade out / expel corrosion all loose scales rust etc. from the observed reinforcement by applying rust remover and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly. (ii) preparation to all surface and Applying anti corrosion chemicals on observed reinforcement surface all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and fixing additional reinforcement of TMT bars conforming to IS-1786, 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape as required in places wherever necessary by welding to existing reinforcement etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for wire netting of mild steel wire mesh of size 25mmx 25mm and 1.40mm dia fixed with tinned tacks of wire staples to existing old reinforcement where ever necessary in external and internal surface of dome, beams, bracings, columns etc. in place of new reinforcement bars by welding for supporting the concrete including necessary scaffolding as required and applying protezion ferro mono primer and anti-corrosive primer to steel and concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting out existing cracks in surfaces forming grooves of 25mm x 40mm size cleaning the groove thoroghly with blower, applying primer coat of water proofig epoxy coating as per manufacturer instruction with suitable brush to form a film on the surface of groove, filling the groove with polymer based grouting chemical as per manufacturer instruction and finally applying the sealing coat of the same grouting chemical is applied including necessary scaffolding as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for grouting in RCC concrete surfaces:- (a) Marking the areas of construction joint. (b) Fix 15-18 mm dia heavy grade GI nipple injection sockets upto 75mm depth at spacing of 1 mtr c/c. (c) Before injection grout compressed air shall be blown to remove all dirt & dust. (d) Inject grouting chemical at a pressure of 4 to 5 kg/sq cm (epoxy grouting) with pump using injectable consistancy as per manufacturers instructions till refusal of appearance of grout from adjacent including necessary scaffolding as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pressure shortcreting 20-40mm thick in CM 1:3 to all affected area of RCC overhead reservior staging using 6mm aggregate and including necessary scaffolding for the height from ground to bottom dome using polymer based shortcreting chemical @ 2% by weight of cement and finished the concrete surfaces at edges and corners and as directed.

M&L for applying two coats of polycrete R-1 over polymer mortar plastering as protective curing coat complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying rust remover and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly, after that applying Protezione Ferro single component cementations on observed reinforcement surfaces to create a continuous film not less than 1 mm thick and preparing the surface to get epoxy grout mortar including providing necessary proportions, bracing and runners to relieve the members from the load coming on working platform as required and as per design and pattern including preparing the surface to coordinate with the existing surface, using alkaline based rust remover for corroded steel structure and concrete remover cleaning etching. Complete all as specified and directed

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:3) using polymer based water proofing chemical @ 3% by weight of cement and finishing surface even and fair including necessary scaffolding as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Polymer based water proofing chemical shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for preparation of surfaces and applying two coat of good grade epoxy leak proof coating on external surface of domes including necessary scaffolding as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preaparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer at any height complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed

M&L for mild steel frame work as in grill, grating ladder, railing etc. and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and paving n.exc 15 cm thick below or above ground level coplete all as specified and directed.

M&L 50mm thick cement concrete flooring type B-1, 1:2:4 using 20mm graged stone aggregate finished even and smooth with using extra cement mixed with polymer based waterproofing chemical @ 2% by weight of cement including complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Polymer based waterproofing chemical shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only polymer based water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for chequered cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors over 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) including jointing with neat cement slurry mixing pigment to match the colour etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in fixing of hold fast / fixing of ladder complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Preparation of old plainted surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed at any height.

M&l preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat cement wash with white cement complete all as specified and directed at any height.

M&L preparation of old steel painted surfaces and applying a coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed at any height.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) mixed with polymer based waterproofing chemical @ 2% by weight of cement including complete all as specified and directed. Note: chemical shall be measured and paid separately

Taking up unserviceable CI/DI rusted/broken pipe line (including all fittings) with spigot and socketed/flanged ends and removal from site including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed for 150mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work shall be measured and paid seperately.

Taking up unserviceable CI/DI rusted/broken pipe line (including all fittings) with spigot and socketed/flanged ends and removal from site including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed for 100mm bore of pipe complete all as specified and directed. M&L two coat of synthetic enamel paint (with black/blue/post office res paint) including preparation of surface of pipe line of 100 / 150mm sizes (rising main, delivery, wash out and overflow pipe upto 18 mtr height from ground level) also air compressor including arrow marking and writting of direction of water complete all as specified and directed.

M&L DI fittings such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.), tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs for upto 150mm bore of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing of cast iron sluice valve 150mm dia bore class-I (ISI marked) PN-1 type, conforming to latest IS 14846-2000, flanged ends, drilled having stainless steel spindle with cast iron wheel head at top complete with nuts, bolts, washer and rubber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonory valve chamber of size 1050 x 1050 x 1050 mm, cement concrete in 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate foundation and 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 on brick wall inside and brick chamber built in CM 1:6 including providing of MS sheet cover 3mm thick with angle iron brackets grouted to brick wall duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer with lifting handle and locking arrangement complete all as specified and directed and rest portion as per shown drg CEAF/TD/EM/01.
