Amount

Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out with in all leads and lifts, including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut material in specified manner, trimming, filling of uneven ness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting out to required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and un useful material and transportation of the un useful material for disposing at dumping site (To be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipment and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation and used /removed as per the direction of the Engineer - in- charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Excavation in drains and channels etc in all kinds of earth work i/c spade work pick work, jumper work, blasting work and chiselling/wedging out rock etc i/c dressing of side s and bed and disposing of excavated earth upto all leads and lifts and disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed as directed by Engineer-in-charge within all leads and lifts i/c clearing of jungle

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal with in all leads & dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material.

Filling in plinth with sand under floor including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per approved drawing, design and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing form work with steel plates of 3.15mm (Three decimal fifteen millimeters) thick, welded with angle iron in frames of 30x30x5mm (Thirty into Thirty into Five millimeters), so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering strutting and propping etc, with wooden /steel battens and ballies for all heights/depths of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceiling and removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in foundation, footings, bases, of columns and mass concrete including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per approved drawing, design and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) Foundation, footing basis of columns etc and mass concrete.including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

(b) Flat surfaces such as soffits of suspended floors, roofs landing and the like Floors etc. up to 200 mm (two hundred milimetres) in thickness.including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

(c) columns, pillars, posts and struts square, rectangular or polygonal and plan.including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

(d) Beams, cantilever, girders and vitals sides and soffits of beams, beams launchings, cantilevers, bressumers and lintels with in all depth and heights of floor.including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

(e) Stair cases with sloping or stepped soffits excluding landing. including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

(f) Vertical surfaces such as walls (any thickness) partitions and the like including attached pillasters buttresses, plinth and string courses and the like including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

(g) Edges of slabs and breaks in floors and walls under 20 cm ( twenty centimetre) wide. including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement:6 sand :12 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of centring and shuttering in: Foundation and plinth: including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol -1 in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge at site.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing andk technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including carriage of all labour, material and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 vol.I and as per direction of Engineer in Charge at site in all leads and lifts.

Providing and Laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 nominal mix (PCC. 1:4:8)( one cement : four sand and eight stone aggrigate twenty five milimetre nominal size)

Providing and Laying damp proof course 38 mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 ( 1 cement : 2 Sand : 4 Graded Stnone Aggregate ) 12.5 mm ( twelve point five milimetres)Nominal size and curing complete.including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 volume -1 in all leads and lifts.

Applying a coat of hot bitumen (mexphalt 80/100 or equivalent) using 1.70 kg/m2 on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with a piece of cloth lightly soaked with kerosene oil including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 volume -1 in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying cement concrete work 1:2:4 (1 Cement:2 Sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in Suspended Floor roofs, landing and shelves and theirsupport balconies, beams ,girders ,bressumers and contilever upto floor twolevel:including carriage of labour materials and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per HPPWD specification 1990 volume -1 in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3 mechanically mixed and vibrated (1 cement: 1.5 sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm.(twenty milimetre nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work and reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in foundation, footings, bases of columns and the like and mass concrete including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per approved drawing, design and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
