Schedule 'A' of Works

Item No. 01 : Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable, GI strip etc including forming bottom surfaces required as per site conditions and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 02 : Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 03 : Removing excavated material (Soil) not exceeding 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 04 : Demolition of cement concrete of any description (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cms thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of debris to out side MD land complete all as specified & directed.

Item No. 05 : M&L for hard core of stone (granite/ basalt/ trap) boulders or broken stone of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 06 : M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in bed block for fixing of pipe on roof for air termination and the like including weathering slightly rounded/ chamfered angles with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 07 : M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring on existing sub base surfaces of OH tank, finished cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary form work and concrete (PCC) to be cast in alternate bays complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 08 : M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, finished even and smooth without using extra cement forming joints to full depth at every 3M intervals and at every change of direction and filing with bitumen sand mixture 1:3 by weight complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 09 : M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in thrust block to support the pipe at corner and junctions, copings, benching, bed plates, bond stones, kerbs or mud stops etc and the like including weathering slightly rounded/ chamfered angles with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 10 : Taking up or down of old unserviceable 15mm bore steel tubing and connections including removal from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 11 : Taking up or down of old unserviceable 25mm bore steel tubing and connections including removal from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 12 : Taking up or down of old unserviceable 40mm bore steel tubing and connections including removal from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 13 : Taking up or down of old unserviceable 50mm bore steel tubing and connections including removal from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 14 : Taking up or down of old unserviceable 80/100mm bore steel tubing and connections including removal from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 15 : Supply & fix 15mm bore medium grade galvanised steel water tubes with all fittings (heavy grade) such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, union etc and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors/ trenches complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work if required, same shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 16 : Supply & fix 25mm bore medium grade galvanised steel water tubes with all fittings (heavy grade) such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, union etc and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors/ trenches complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work if required, same shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 17 : Supply & fix 40mm bore medium grade galvanised steel water tubes with all fittings(heavy grade) such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, union etc and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors/ trenches complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work if required, same shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 18 : Supply & fix 50mm bore medium grade galvanised steel water tubes with all fittings(heavy grade) such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, union etc and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors/ trenches complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work if required, same shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 19 : Taking up or down 100mm bore cast iron water mains (including all fittings(heavy grade)) with spigot and socket ends / flanged ends and lead joints from trenches/ floors including burning out joints and recovering lead and removal from site complete all as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 20 : M&L for 100mm bore DI pipes of make as approved by AGE(I) with spigot and socket ends suitable for tyton joints, centrifugally cast, class K-9, in any length coforming to IS: 8329 (2000) as per latest amendments, laid in trenches with & including making rubber gasket joints (Tyton joint) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

Item No. 21 : Supply and fixing of CI/DI fittings i.e. bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), T- pieces single branch, 'Y' junciton double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, caps and plugs etc suitable for & upto 150mm bore pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 22 : Supply and fix in replacement, cast iron sluice valves 100 mm bore, class PN-1.6 of make as approved by AGE(I), conforming to IS-14846, both end flanged with stainless steel spindle, GM nut & CI wheel including making flanged joints with & including minimum 3mm thick rubber sheet, nuts & bolts etc of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 23 : Supply and fix in repairs, gun-metal, globe or gate valves, ISI marked, class 150 with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, for 15mm bore dia of pipe complete all as specified.

Item No. 24 : Supply and fix in repairs, gun-metal, globe or gate valves, ISI marked, class 150 with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, for 25mm bore dia of pipe complete all as specified.

Item No. 25 : Supply and fix in repairs, gun-metal, globe or gate valves, ISI marked, class 150 with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, for 40mm bore dia of pipe complete all as specified.

Item No. 26 : Supply and fix in repairs, gun-metal, globe or gate valves, ISI marked, class 150 with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed, for 50mm bore dia of pipe complete all as specified.

Item No. 27 : Supply and fix in repairs, pressure gauge 100mm dia with 3/8" brass sampling cock including necessary fixing arrangements to GI/ CI suction and delivary pipe of pump set with driling, threading including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed .

Item No. 28 : M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italian or Indian), arrows, stops, commas, short lines, dashes, hyphens, brackets etc not exc. 30 cm high with synthetic enamel paint on rising/ distribution/ overflow pipe OH tank of any size & sign boards to electrical panel/ transformers etc after prepration of existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 29 : Cutting of existing CI pipes of 100mm bore and reducing to required length in position for insertion of new tees, collar, branches etc including all necessary excavation & earth work and bailing out of water if required complete all as specified and directed. Note:- CI specials (fittings), run lead joint required for execution of this item shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of BOQ as "M&L" complete.

Item No. 30 : M&L for new run lead joints for 100mm bore CI spigot & socketed pipes/ fittings including spun yarn etc and leakage testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 31 : M&L for construction of new valve pit/ chamber of single brick masonry using old size bricks in CM (1:4) of size 1200mmx 1200mmx 900mm (internal dimensions) including PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundation & floor (min 150mm thick), internal, external & floor plaster, PCC coping, 5mm thick MS sheet cover with 50x50x6mm MS angle iron frame with locking arrangement including painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil and removal complete all as specified in respective clause of PS part-II and as shown & specified in details in TD Drg No. CEJZ/TD/819/91 sheet 1/1 dt 16/04/1991 after demolition of existing old unserviceable valve pit chamber complete all as directed.

Item No. 32 : M&L for construction of new valve pit/ chamber of single brick masonry using old size bricks in CM (1:4) of size 450mmx 450mmx 450mm (internal dimensions) including PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundation & floor (min 150mm thick), internal, external & floor plaster, PCC coping, 5mm thick MS sheet cover with 50x50x6mm MS angle iron frame with locking arrangement including painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil and removal complete all as specified in respective clause of PS part-II and as shown & specified in details in TD Drg No. CEJZ/TD/819/91 sheet 1/1 dt 16/04/1991 after demolition of existing old unserviceable valve pit chamber complete all as directed.

Item No. 33 : Supply and fix in replacement, air termination, single pointed copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long with two Nos brass nut, bolt and washers to existing/ new lightening conductor system complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 34 : Taking up or down of existing old unserviceable aluminium/ copper/ GI strips of roof/ down conductor of OH tanks and removal from site complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 35 : Supply and fix aluminium strip 25x3.15mm with and including saddles and fixing screws etc and jointing of strips with suitable size of nuts, bolts & washers; for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 36 : Supply and fix galvanised iron strip 32x6mm buried in ground as ground conductor of OH tanks with and including all necessary fixing arrangements/ screws etc and jointing of strips with suitable size of nuts, bolts & washers; complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 37 : Supply and fix 40mm bore GI tube light grade in vertical position of approx 1.0 mtr length for mounting of air termination rod and embedded in PCC complete all as specified and directed. Make:- JINDAL or ZENITH or TATA as approved by AGE(I). Note:- PCC for embedding of tube shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Item No. 38 : M&L for earthing in replacement with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Item No. 40 : Supply and fix in replacement, test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 41 : Supply and fix in repairs, 100W watt energy saving, environmental friendly, long life, exclusive innovative die-cast aluminium IP66 flood light, suitable for highlighting architectural facade and general purpose lighting with fixing arrangements using suitable size of clamps, nuts & bolts and connecting up with & including twin twisted copper flexible wire from connecting point to fittings complete all as specified & directed. Make:- Havells Cat part No. JETAIRISFLS 100WLED757SYMLTG or equivalent model of make- Philips or Crompton or WIPRO or Bajaj as approved by AGE(I).

Item No. 42 : Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Item No. 43 : Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, Class LV, Type1, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm, ISI marked duly as approved by AGE(I) complete all as specified and as directed.

Item No. 44 : Supply and fixing/ laying of 50mm bore dia GI pipe light grade in trenches/ under roads/ along pole/ wall for cable protection including all necessary fittings & clamps made out of 25x3mm flat iron etc as required complete all as specified and directed.

Item No. 45 : Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 50sqmm, 3.5core including jointing materials such as cable glands & lugs etc and testing on completion complete all as directed.

Item No. 46 : Supply and fix on-load change over switch of capacity 125 Amps in sheet metal encloser, 4 Pole, 415 Volts complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells Cat part No. IHCNFE0125 or equivalent model of make- L&T or Legrand or ABB or Schneider as approved by AGE(I).

Item No. 47 : Supply, installation, testing and commissioning complete of OEM manufactured, static silent (Sound proof enclosure) Diesel Engine Driven Generating set capable of delivering 50 KW (62.5 KVA output), at prime mover rating at 0.85 load factor as per clause 13.3.2 of ISO-8528 (Part-I), 415 Volts (AC three phase, 4 Wire system of supply) 50 Hz at 0.8 minimum power factor. The DG set shall consists of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator, through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with AMF control panel standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet, outlet return inlet oil arrangement, exhaust pipe including all mounting accessories as required/ suitable for installation at Pachmarhi (MP) complete including, anti-vibration pads, including all features to comply with latest CPCB guidelines and comprising of followings:- Note:- Capacity of engine, alternators shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration.

(a) ENGINE (prime mover): Diesel engine 1500 RPM, direct injection,four cylinders,in line, four stroke, conforming to ISO 3046/BS 5514, naturally turbo charged, capable of giving adequate BHP (Not less than 83 BHP) to drive alternator capable of delivering 50 KW (62.5 KVA) at outdoor atmoshpheric conditions at Pachmarhi, MP, 12/24 Volts (as per manufacturer recommendations) electric battery start, complete with dynamically balanced fly wheel, all standard fittings/ fixtures as per manufacturers with and including suitable panel with tachometer, lub oil temperature, pressure gauze and frequency meter and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor(ECPG) and engine protection systems (shut down, high water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc), fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables items etc complete. MAKE:- CUMMINS or equivalent model of other make- CATERPILLAR or KIRLOSKAR or GREAVES COTTON LTD. as approved by AGE (I).

(b) Alternator: Brushless AC alternator, 3 phase 415 Volts, 4 wire rated for output of 62.5 KVA/ 50 KW, minimum power factor 0.8, 1500 RPM, IP23 protection class enclosure, insulation class "H", salient pole, revolving field, single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling with and to match with the engine as specified above. MAKE: STAMFORD or or equivalent model of other make- CATERPILLAR or GREAVES COTTON LTD. or KIRLOSKAR or JYOTI as approved by AGE (I).

(c) BASE PLATE: Made out of structural steel as per manufacturer's recommended design/specifications complete.

(d) Accoustic Enclosure: Sheet metal fabricated cope type, powder coated silent enclosure manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB norms complete. Note: Enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level as under with following conditions as laid down in GSR No. 371 (E) dt 17 May 2002: (i) 75 DB at a distance of 1.0M at 75% load under field condition. (ii) 70 DB at 3.0M from Gen set when DG set is working at full load along with testing conformance, labelling certificaton, etc

(f) Foundation/ Plinth/ Base: PCC platform of size extended 0.50M all round of DG set (outer dimensions), 0.60M above GL and 0.15M below GL in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, foundation 150mm thick and 150mm extending on all sides of PCC platform in PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate including necessary excavation & earth work and plaster/ rendering in CM 1:4 on all sides of PCC platform upto 15cm below from GL and two coats of white wash on plastered surfaces including prepration of surfaces complete.

(g) Diesel storage tank of capacity, adequate for storage of diesel for 12 hours operation of Gen set.

(h) Miscellaneous: Tool kit, operation and maintenance catalogue, spare parts list, overhauling manuals, guarnatee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices as and when asked.

General Notes for item No. 48.00:- (i) The DG set shall be taken over only after it has been tested as per relevant IS specification/ instructiions by the contractor in the presence of an officer nominated by the accepting officer. (ii) All the expenses incurred on the above test including provision of testing apparatus required to carry out the above mentioned test shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the government. If the result of the test is not found satisfactory, the contractor shall at his own expense, replace the defective equipments/ materials/ accessories or any thereof as directed by the AGE(I). Decision of Accepting Officer shall be final, conclusive and binding in this respect.
