Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness (SSR 22-23.Item.No.2.09)

Excavation for catch / side water gutter in Hard murum and boulder strata to the specified section including stacking the excavated stuff in a regular bund and disposing of unsuitable or excess stuff as directed.(SSR 22-23.Item.No.2.20)

Scarifying the existing granular road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and leads upto 1000 metres.(SSR 22-23.Item.No.3.09)

Stabilization of Soil or Sub-Base/Base Course or Existing Pavement Crust upto the required depth by In-Situ Stabilization method using Cement / Cementitious additives / Chemical additives / Combination: Providing and pre-spreading of Binder (Cement / Cementitious additives / Chemical additives / combination) at rate of required quantity (% by weight) as per job mix design in accordance with IRC 37-2018 using a truck-mounted automated binder spreader with micro-processor controlled weighing and spreading system. The binder spreader shall have variable working width upto 2.4m to efficiently manage the width of the whole pavement. The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out using a self-propelled wheeled Stabilizer / Reclaimer with a minimum working width of 2m or 2.4m and minimum engine horsepower of 305 kW having in-built automated water-spraying and depth control systems with variable working depth of up to 500 mm. The entire in-situ process shall be carried out in a single pass including pulverizing of soil/aggregates/combination or milling of existing asphalt pavement and simultaneous mixing with pre-spread binder (cement/additive) and water to the desired depth. The resultant stabilized mix shall be compacted using a vibratory padfoot compactor of 14-20 tonne weight as per design depth and then graded to the required profile, level and thickness using a motor grader. The graded surface shall be then compacted using a smooth vibratory roller to achieve the desired proctor density as per IRC 37-2018 and complete in all respects including curing with water as required including all materials, labor, machinery, etc. Necessary graded stone aggregates shall be added by pre-spreading with cement to achieve desired gradation and profile of the road. The minimum unconfined compresssive strength (UCS) of stabilized sub-base should be 4.5 / 7 MPa after 7 / 28 days curing as per IRC 37-2018 .Also, durability aspects (wet-dry cycles) of stabilized sub base should be satisfied as per IRC 37-2018 .The gradation mixes and materials should be as per IRC 37-2018. (SSR 22-23,Item No.51.130)

Providing and laying a Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI) / bitumen impregnated geotextile layer after cleaning the road surface, geotextile conforming to requirements of clause 703.3, laid over a tack coat with 1.05Kilogramper One Square Metre of paving grade bitumen 80 - 100 penetration / emulsion as per requirement and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

BITUMINOUS MACADAM:--Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregate of Grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder, transported at site with VTS, laid over a previously prepared surface , finished to the required grade ,level, alignment,and rolling to achieve the desired density for 80/100 mm compacted thickness with drum mix type hot mix plant with SCADA having complying essential features of Hot mix plant as per IRC-27 2009 specified conditions and attachments such as electronic load sensor based belt conveyers,automatic synchronization of bitumen and aggregate fedder,built in dust controller system and PLC for Drum Mix plant ,Sensor paver,and Vibratory roller excluding prime/Tack coat etc. complete --Bitumen 3.30% of specified grade (VG-30 bulk bitumen rates are considered to arrive at rates)

Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.

Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/ colour of 2.5 mm thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gm/sqm .Thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained reflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5.
