Schedule-B (Housekeeping) I. Housekeeping of Civil Estate
Carryingout day-to-day maintenance of floors of residential & non-residential building, (a) Multi storey buildings like C-Type quarters, MC-type, MB Type, T2 Type, T3 Type (common areas like staircase, corridors, lobbies, utility rooms, elctrical/network panel rooms, paving areas etc., in quarters) and D type single storey (b) Public buildings, offices, auditorium, services room, library, open area, Board Room, Meeting Hall, staircase head rooms, window glass, Pantry Areas, Security Buildings, in BE Estate. Public buildings also includes cleaning and upkeeping of toilets (in public buildings and office's only) which includes floors, dados up to 2.4m height, urinal partitions, mirrors, towel rails, water closets (European / Indian Type) including cleaning and servicing of flushing cistern systems, washbasin, urinals of any size including bibcocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., (c) cleaning of above to be made using jet machines,scubbers,vaccum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like approved detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigourously all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-B1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-B2 and or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. (d) The scope of work shall also include removal of cob webs at any height from finished floor level (above 6m height scaffolding will be paid sepearately in relevant item), cleaning of all types of doors, windows, ventilators, office tables, external suface of storage units, sign boards, removal of blockages within the building area etc., (e) Public and office areas include providing Rodent & Pest control services etc., by engaging suitable trained manpower of required number (to be assessed by the contractor),(Required material will be measured and paid in relevant items) all as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge etc., (Area of Housekeeping as indicated in Annexure-B2 which has to be taken up for 302 days) Note: (1) The materials/Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made seperately for the same under the relevant items.(2) Carpet area of building shall be considered for measurement of housekeeping.(3) In residential quaters common areas of building taken up for cleanig, carpet area will be measured.(4) The measurement will be made for executed works only.(5) If any short falls in the above work deduction / recovery will be made as per Annexure-B3
Carryingout day-to-day maintenance of floors of Bharat Electronics Educational Institutions in BE Estate (a) Cleaning and upkeeping of toilets, janitory rooms, electrical panel room, common areas like staircase, corridors, lobbies, etc., (b) Toilet which includes floors, dados up to 2.4m height, urinal partitions, mirrors, towel rails, water closets (European / Indian Type) including cleaning and servicing of flushing cistern systems, washbasin, urinals of any size including bibcocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., (c) cleaning of above to be made using jet machines,scubbers,vaccum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like approved detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigourously all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-B1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-B2 and or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. (d) The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs any height from finished floor level (above 6m height scaffolding will be paid sepearately in relevant item), cleaning of all types of doors, windows, ventilators, office tables, storage units (outside only), sign boards, removal of blockages within the building area etc., (e) Educational institutions areas include providing Rodent & Pest control services etc., by engaging suitable trained manpower of required number (to be assessed by the contractor),(Required material will be measured and paid in relevant items) all as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge etc., complete. (Area of Housekeeping as indicated in Annexure-B2 which has to be taken up for 302 days) Note: (1) The materials/Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made seperately for the same under the relevant items.(2) Carpet area of building shall be considered for measurement of housekeeping.(3) The measurement will be made for executed works only.(4) If any short falls in the above work deduction / recovery will be made as per Annexure-B3.
Cleaning of structural glazing and ACP panels including all necessary mechanized equipments like winches, cables, wings (gondolas), rigs and all other safety equipments as required for cleaning. Cleaning to be made as and when required. Each and every panels to be thoroughly cleaned including required cleaning chemicals, detergent, necessary tools and tackles etc., (Note: The materials / Consumables / non consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and will not be paid seperately) using gondolas or spider man techniques or combination of both as required and directed by the Engineer-in-charge to suite site conditions etc., complete including necessary safety equipment for the personnel engaged in the cleaning activity.
Carryingout day-to-day maintenance of swimming pool area in BE Estate (i) cleaning, upkeeping of utility buildings and toilets dados up to 2.4m height, including cleaning and servicing of flushing cistern systems, all types of WC's, washbasin, urinals of any size including their bibcocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., (ii) cleaning of above to be made using jet machines, scubbers, vaccum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigourously. cleaning of all types of doors, windows, removal of cobwebs at any height which includes cleaning of floors using required materials, by rubbing vigourously all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. (iii) The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs at any heights, removal of blockages within the building area etc., complete. The housekeeping work is to be carried out in two shifts of 4 Hours each. First shift timings from 06:00 to 10:00 Hrs. and second shift from 17:00 to 21:00 Hrs. The shift timings may change based on the requirement and prevailing conditions. Measurement will be given for one time in a day for two shifts. Total area is as indicated in Annexure-B2. Note: (1) The materials/Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made seperately for the same under the relevant items. (2) Carpet area of building shall be considered for measurement of housekeeping. (3) The measurement will be made for executed works only. (4) If any short falls in the above work deduction / recovery will be made as per Annex-B3
Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of Officer’s Club and Sports Complex area in BE Estate (i) Cleaning and up keeping of Dining hall, kitchen, bar, office, billiards room, gymnasium, toilets, AC and Non-AC hall, Mini Hall, Ladies club and gym, sports club etc. which includes cleaning of floors, dados up to 2.4m height, including cleaning and servicing of flushing cistern systems, all types of WC's, washbasin, urinals of any size including their bibcocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., (ii) cleaning of above to be made using jet machines, scubbers, vaccum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigourously. cleaning of all types of doors, windows, removal of cobwebs at any height,sanitary fittings and fixtures etc., by rubbing vigorously all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. (iii) The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs up to 4.5m height from finished floor level by using extendable cobweb remover, removal of blockages within the building area etc., complete. The housekeeping work is to be carried out in two shifts of 8 Hours each. First shift timings from 07:00 to 15:00 Hrs. and second shift from 15:00 to 23:00 Hrs. The shift timings may change based on the requirement and prevailing conditions. Measurement will be given for one time in a day for two shifts of 8Hrs each. Total area is as indicated in Annexure-B2. Note: (1) The materials/Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made seperately for the same under the relevant items. (2) Carpet area of building shall be considered for measurement of housekeeping. (3) The measurement will be made for executed works only. (4) If any short falls in the above work deduction / recovery will be made as per Annex-B3
Making compost pits of required sizes by excavating the earth at the designated places using mechanical means, the excavated earth shall be shifted and stacked at 100m lead.
Emptying the Compost pit using mechanical means, and stacking/spreading the same within 1km lead at designated places for further use. (Note: Emptying shall mean removing completely the compost to the full depth making it convenient to refill the pit for further composting).
Collecting and transporting of debris or waste materials which are generated from different places in BE Estate area and dumping the same away from company premises through motor vehicle (Hydraulically operated tractor with trailer of 3 cum capacity) as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge from time to time etc., complete. (Note: The contractor shall carry out this operation as and when required and as directed by Engineer-in-charge only).
Monitoring the day-to-day housekeeping services by engaging a care taker for central colony with suitable experience in the relevant field of work and carrying out the works like accounting of materials, complaint management, maintenance of company properties, keeping day to day register, monitoring the cleaning services by engaging required no.of workers & operations like cleaning of solar panel, solar water heater panel, removing of honey combs through specialised agencies etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge to the satisfaction of the company. Note: (i) The rate to be quoted shall be for the complete finished work per month on job contract basis. (ii) Payment shall be made based on satisfactory performance only.
Carrying out day-to-day repair & maintenance of Sanitary & Plumbing works in BE Estate by engaging techniciation for works such as repairing the leaking taps by replacing with suitable washers / spindle / heads / bib cock / push cock / pillar cock / stop cock etc., and servicing the units including fixing of detached urinal connecting/waste pipes /replacing of auto flushed batteries, damaged waste couplings/ replacing of gratings and any other repairs and as directed by Engineer in-charge including all the required tools and tackles (including servicing kit) carrying out the work to the entire satisfactory and put back the system to normal working conditions etc., Note: (i) The materials required for this item will be supplied by the company. (ii) Payment shall be made based on satisfactory performance only.
Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per\ directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.(2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all works in the same location.
Cleaning of both side glazing for canopy in Management block including all necessary mechanized equipments and all other safety equipments. Cleaning of glass to be made once in a week ensuring each and every panel Top & Bottom is thoroughly cleaned including chemicals, detergent, necessary tools and tackles etc., all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-B1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-B2 and or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., Note:- (1) One side area of glazing will be measured for purpose of payment. (2) If any short falls in the above work deduction / recovery will be made as per Annex-B3.
Supply of manpower (Unskilled) for carrying out mass cleaning and other miscellaneous works
Carrying out cleaning of carpets using vaccum cleaning and shampooing by specialised agency as and when required etc., Note: (i) The brand of liquid soap, shampoo and the special machine meant for cleaning the carpets and other operations shall be as per standard practice. (ii) The rate shall be for the complete finished work including all materials and labour which will not be paid seperately.
Carrying out cleaning of Single Seater Sofas of any make / design as as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-B1 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc., Note: (i) The brand of liquid soap, shampoo and the special machine meant for cleaning the sofas and other operations shall be as per standard practice. (ii) The rate shall be for the complete finished work including all materials and labour which will not be paid seperately.
Carrying out periodical cleaning of Two Seater Sofas of any make / design all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. Note: (i) The brand of liquid soap, shampoo and the special machine meant for cleaning the sofas and other operations shall be as per standard practice. (ii) The rate shall be for the complete finished work including all materials and labour which will not be paid seperately.

Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of floors of building, (a) Public buildings, offices, auditorium, services room, library, open area, Board Room, Meeting Hall, staircase head rooms, window glass, Pantry Areas, Security Buildings, in PDIC/BE-Estate. Public buildings also includes cleaning and up-keeping of toilets (in public buildings and office's only) which includes floors, dados up to 2.4m height, urinal partitions, mirrors, towel rails, water closets (European / Indian Type) including cleaning and servicing of flushing cistern systems, washbasin, urinals of any size including bib-cocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., (b) Cleaning of above to be made using jet machines, scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like approved detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigorously all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-B4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-B5 and or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. (c) The scope of work shall also include removal of cob webs at any height from finished floor level (above 6m height scaffolding will be paid separately in relevant item), cleaning of all types of doors, windows, ventilators, office tables, external surface of storage units, sign boards, removal of blockages within the building area etc., (d) Public and office areas include providing Rodent & Pest control services etc., by engaging suitable trained manpower of required number (to be assessed by the contractor),(Required material will be measured and paid in relevant items) all as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge etc., (Area of Housekeeping as indicated in Annexure-B5 which has to be taken up for 302 days) Note: (1) The materials/Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made separately for the same under the relevant items. (2) Carpet area of building shall be considered for measurement of housekeeping. (3) In residential quarter’s common areas of building taken up for cleaning, carpet area will be measured. Collecting and transporting of waste materials which are generated from different places of PDIC Complex and dumping the same away from company premises through motor vehicle (Hydraulically operated tractor with trailer of 3 cum capacity) as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge from time to time etc., complete. Felling trees girth of less than 100 cm (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and remaining shall be disposed to Shredding yard.

Attending complaints related to tree pruning. During rainy season there is heavy falling of trees and tree branches which are to be removed to clear the area / roads (noticed during previous years) and or as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc., complete.
Clearing grass (including any vegetation) and removal of the rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area for further disposal. The work shal carryout through Mechanical Bush cuhers / Lawn movers / other Mechanical means (Note: The cost includes cutting of grass / other vegetation through mechanical means).

Green Waste / Housekeeping / Scrap Removal : Supply of tractor with trailor / Lorry (self tipping facility to accomodate about 8 cum of quantity including Driver and required manpower in order to remove the green waste / Production waste / scrap etc., generated at Estate (including PDIC & Nalanda). The green waste has to be dumped at compost pits / shredding area and Production scrap shall be unloaded at Disposal yard with in the BEL complex. Operating the Leaf / Wood shredder by loading the green waste / branches (which are stocked near the shredding machine) into the Machine and collecting the output into the tractor trailor including disposing the collected shredded green waste into composting pit, spraying / applying organic culture / Bio-inaculum etc., as per the scope of work.
