Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying of UG cables, GI pipe etc and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material n.exc 50m and depositing were directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning in cable trenches over and under the cable, with river washed coarse sand, as per standard practice with proper compaction complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Punned thickness 18cm shall be considered for payment as per para 19.75 of SSR Part-I.

Supply and laying for brick protection for protection of cable over sand cushioning cables inside the trench by using common brunt clay building bricks sub-class “B” old size brick and flat and width wise along the axis of the trench complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cutting in road/pavements or hardstanding etc fot laying of pipes, UG Cables etc of approxiamate width of 45cm and depth 60cm amd making good the distrubed surfaces with PCC, type D-2, 1:3:6, 40mm graded stone aggregate,and removing debries of the site complete all as specified and directed.

Making hole (Horizontal drilling) by suitable means for insertion of GI pipe of 50-80mm bore for passing cable across the road (without cutting the road) at depth of 45cm from road surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- GI pipe will be measured and paid seperately under appropiate item

M&L 80mm dia GI pipe light grade with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. complete all as specified and directed.
