M&L for preparation of surfaces of roads, bituminous/ rigid pavements, flexible pavings, aprons and like exceeding 10 cm width or girth as in lines dashes, arrows, letters etc and applying one coat of aqua based road making paint of tint white or golden yellow or Orange or as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Availability of working hours for painting will depend on Air Trafic Control (ATC) Unit. Nothing extra shall be admisible if intermittent working hours (which may be less than 8 hours in a day) for painting is available due to operational activity.

Ditto all as per Item No 1.00 here-in-before but applying two coats of aqua based road marking paint as and when required by users for operation services complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of any colour complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of any colour complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old bituminous/concrete surfaces by sweeping, removing foreign materials etc and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Availability of working hours for white washing will depend on Air Trafic Control (ATC) Unit. Nothing extra shall be admisible if intermittent working hours Nothing extra shall be admisible if intermittent working hours for cutting of grass are available due to operational activity for white washing is available due to operational activity.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description and applying one coat of exterior emulsion paint of any shade as approved by Eng-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of grass by manualy operated bush cutter machine of areas around various sign boards, Installation, post, DTGM and likes where mechanical means can not be deployed including cleaning away all grass vegetations, sampling shrubs, brushes weeds and roots of trees etc and removing rubbish at low lying area exc 200 m from edge of runway / taxiway /dispersal complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Availability of working hours for cutting of grass will depend on Air Trafic Control (ATC) Unit. Nothing extra shall be admisible if intermittent working hours (which may be less than 8 hours) for cutting of grass is available due to operational activity.

Providing of JCB with operator for levelling of the areas around the Runway/Taxi Track/Runway shoulders and cleaning of the grass/brushes etc where it will not be possible by mechanical/Jungle Zim complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to pop out spalled joints, corner, pot holes in concrete slab by cutting, chiseling manually / mechnical cutter. Sides perpendicular to a minimum depth of 2.5 to 3 cm and cleaned off all loose or broken material and remove beyond technial area, cleaning the surface with mechanical blower to remove all dust / loose particles outside technical area and repair concrete slab floor with concrete based adhesive resin epoxy to match the existing surface including form work where required complete all as specified and directed. The resin and the materials to be used must be of approved manufacturer. Contractor shall take approval from GE by showing the packaged authentic material sample obtained from any of the three manufacturers mentioned under only. After approval, contractor must procure complete quantity required for this item of work and get the same varified by the GE. Only there after, he shall be permitted to commence the executions. Descision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. Make - CIPY/SIKA/FOSROC Notes:- 1 Application shall be done as per manufacturer instruction. 2. All the health and safety measurer shall be followed by the contractor during use of epoxy resin. 3. An exclusive team of adequate no of labours for repair to joints/corner with adhesive resin epoxy shall be deployed by the contractor as per direction of Eng-in-Charge.

Cleaning of drain of width not exc 1.50 m and depth upto 1.50 m including cleaning the grass, bushes mules silts by manually from the bottom, seeds and 1.5 mtr to the both sides at the top of the drain including removal of the sludge/weeds/grass etc. out of MoD land or as directed and prepare the drain level for proper functioning complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per item No 10.00 here-in-before but width exceeding 1.5 m and depth exc 1.50 m but not exceeding 3.00 m.

Removing of existing debris, mounds, muds and other broken construction material and rubbish laying in the nearly by area of runway Taxi Truck, QRA`s as shown by ATC and thrown out at low lying area by Manual and Mechanical means to distance not exceeding 8 km complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The quoted unit rate deemed to include labour element for loading and unloading of debris).

M & L for Repair to existing construction/dummy joints of size 10 to 20 mm wide and depth (average) not exceeding 30 mm consisting of following activities : (i) Raking out old decayed/damaged existing sealing compound with backup rod of any description and cleaning the joints thoroughly by removing dust, dirt foreign material by appropriate electric cutter and air blower. (Note:- After cleaning the joints thoroughly, it shall got approved by GE before progressing to next stage). (ii) Removing the existing sealing compound from the edges, bottom and sides of the joints by cutting edges, bottom and sides of the joints 1 mm of the existing construction joints ( upto full depth of existing joints) by mechanical tool (diamond cutter) to make the cross section of joint truly rectangular. (Note: Cleaning the edges/sides/bottom of joints by using diamond cutter only and Once again cleaning the joints with compressed air clean surfaces shall got approved by GE. When the cleaning process approved by GE, primer and joint filling done in the presence of Engr-in-Charge. (iii) Applying two coats of priming and providing closed cell polythene backup rod of appropiate dia as required at site with 2 mm thick debonding tape and sealed with and using cold applied single component polyurethane sealant (Top 12mm leaving 2-3 mm recess) conforming to requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test and applying masking tape on edge at joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. Sealant should have MAF minimum ±30% and manufacturer's warranty for 10 (ten) years complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Ditto all as per Item No 13.00 here-in-before but expansion joints of width exceeding 20 mm but not exceeding 40 mm and upto full depth of concrete slab (350mm) complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The quoted unit rate deemed to be included for removal of existing filler board and supply and fixing of new compressible filler board (HD-100) shall be measured and paid under serial item No 15.00 here-in-after.

S & F 25 mm thick pre formed compressible filler board (HD-100) of required depth complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (Unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete work in pavement / hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/square cm in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic meter, spread and compacted by mechanical means to thickness not exceeding 250 mm including necessary form work, finishing, belting, curing, brooming, numbering of slab and provision of joints etc complete all as specified and directed. Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula should be compatible to as per IRC-44-2008, IS -456-2000, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) All type of joints shall be measured and paid separately. Curing compound will be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry, and rate for use of curing compound shall be deemed to be included the unit quoted rate. (ii) Minimum cement content per cubic metre of concrete shall be 400 Kg per cum. However actual cement content shall be worked out as per design mix and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iii) Before commencement of work, contractor shall submit design mix (for flexural strength 40 Kg/Square cm) carried out at Government Engineering college / National Test House / Government Laboratory / NABL approved lab as per relevent IS and quoted unit rate deemed to include for the same.

M & L for cutting of 8mm wide and 25mm deep construction joints and applying two coats of priming and providing closed cell polythene backup rod 10mm dia with 2 mm thick debonding tape and sealed with and using cold applied single component polyurethane sealant (Top 12mm leaving 2-3 mm recess) conforming to requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test and applying masking tape on edge at joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. Sealant should have MAF minimum ±30% complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M & L for cutting of 25mm wide expansion joints upto full depth of concrete slab (initial cut of 3 mm upto full depth cut by diamond cutter machine within 8 to 24 hours of casting) and supplying & fixing pre formed compressible filler board (HD-100) of required depth, provision of closed cell polythene backup rod 30 mm dia with 2 mm thick debonding tape (minimum depth over back up rod shall be 17-18mm), 02 coats of priming the vertical side of joints and sealing the joint (Top 14-15mm) with single component polyurethane sealant conforming to requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/water resistance test and applying masking tape on edge at joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. Sealant should have MAF minimum ±30% and complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. (Note : Rounding of Edges shall be done with hand grinder up to 5-6 mm dia).

Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces, parapets including raking out joint, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M &L for brick work built in CM (1:6) with sub-class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.0 m mean radius complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces in CM (1:4), finishing the surfaces fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using (20 mm graded aggregate) as in copings, plinth courses, string courses and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50.0 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC(1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 60 mm thick M-35 grade Machine pressed precast conctete interlocking paver block with gray cement and pigment in any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 150 mm thick cement concrete M-15 type B2 using 40 mm graded aggregate, wear resistance tremix flooring by use of vacuume dewatering method. The floor shall be provided with non metallic floor hardner @5Kg/ Sqm complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The quoted unit rate deemed to be included for supplying of non matalic floor hardner.

Dismantling of existing sign boards of any description and in any position including taking out embedded portion complete all as specified and directed.

S & F box type sign board of thickness 150 mm (box thickness) single sided i.e. having single sided signs of alphabet, letter, figures, line, dash, arrow or any other character as directed by GE/ EIC. The sign board shall be made of aluminium composite panel (ACP) sheet of thickness not less than 3 mm with retro reflective sheeting of any colour as directed. The ACP sheet shall be fixed on mild steel frame work. MS frame work shall be measured and paid seperatly. All the sides of MS frame work shall be covered with ACP sheet of thickness not less than 3 mm as directed by GE/EIC. The board shall be mounted on wall complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- M&L for writing alphabet, letter, figures, line, dash, arrow or any other character with retro reflective tape shall be measured and paid separatly.

M & L for Rolled sections as in framing for cladding, glazing and the like fixed with angle cleats and connecting plates, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for writing alphabet, numbers or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with retro reflective tap of size exceeding 30 cm but not exceeding 40 cm high and proportionate width or width as dicided by Eng-in-charge. The stroke width of charcter should not be less than 5 cm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for writing alphabet, numbers or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with retro reflective tap of size not exceeding 20 cm high and proportionate width or width as dicided by Eng-in-charge. The stroke width of charcter should not be less than 3.00 cm complete all as specified and directed.
